Great place to eat a casual meal and get some work/studying done. The food isn't as affordable as it used to be, but if you're an IKEA family member and accumulate points by logging into the app every week, you can redeem them for $5 off your restaurant/marketplace purchase. Staff are friendly and quick with service. I do love coming here to study though! Wifi is free and easy to access with no time limits. They've added a conference table with access to outlets, although the rest of the tables/cubicles don't have outlets. It can get a bit loud with background noise, as the sound echoes from kitchen operations and kids are playing in the play area of the restaurant. The curiosity of cheap eats got me to try Ikea's advertised pasta and marinara for $2.99! I wondered - how much do they give you? How does it taste? I was about to find out! I went up to the restaurant - grabbed a side salad out of the cold case and went to the hot line for the pasta marinara. It was a cavatappi pasta on this day (I'm not sure if it's always the same) and he scooped a full bowl of it and topped it with marinara! You can add 4 meatballs for $1.50 so I did and put it on the pasta. There you go - pasta and meatballs marinara. The taste - not bad! I mean, you can't expect a sit-down restaurant quality but it's simple enough that for $2.99 - you don't have much to complain about. I ate it, I was full and I was on to my next errand! Their quality in the fries have taken a tumble. This was one of the items I could always depend on. So sad that their quality has taken a crapper. What was one of the best items to order is no longer so. Their fries used to be nice and crunchy on the outside and creamy soft on the inside is no longer so. I think the present vendor has a terrible product. A new item is their falafel balls accompanied with a garlic ailoli. A hard pass on this unless you enjoy disappointment, the falafel balls were overcooked and tasteless, the garlic aioli didn't help it at all. Did not try it, but it looked just about right for the price. Las Vegas is ridiculous expensive, but not here. My membership expired but Isiah at the counter helped us out. He was super wonderful, kept his sense of humor and good mood laughing and greeting people although he was the only one manning the cash register on a Saturday morning. Awesome guy. But one thing I noted about Las Vegas lately - very empty. Hardly any crowds, or people. Don't know how business is going to survive if Vegas doesn't do something drastic to get tourists and visitors back. You can fill up your intestinal gas tank here for real cheap and relatively quality foods. I mean come on, it's IKEA meatballs! Like is there ever a time when they're not yummy?! I tend to get the vegetarian or plant based ones nowadays but for the sake of nostalgia, I got the classic meatballs. Extra gravy is always a must for the mash and meatballs. There was a special going on for the 5 piece plate but I was starved and opted for the 12 piece. $9.99 instead of $2.99.... I didn't realize till after I paid that the sale was for 5 pieces LOL. The gnats were out of control, it made for eating pretty disgusting to say the least. The next visit just to shop, I noticed the store was empty...I asked a clerk why??? I went on 12/29 for a bingo for 18+ event and also had dinner there before the event. I have come here multiple times in the past and eat here often with my kids and parents too. The food and experience at the IKEA Restaurant is always pleasant! Prices continue to be incredibly affordable with many options and exceptional quality. The dining area is kept clean and service attendants are easily found and constantly cleaning. There's always an available table and the distant views of Red Rock are beautiful (though they are a bit blocked by the newly constructed Ashley Furniture store). If it's your first visit, I definitely recommend the Swedish meatballs with lingonberry jam, chicken tenders, and garlic bread! Also, try the lingonberry drink! It's very good and refreshing. Definitely check the IKEA restaurant website too. They seem to always have a rotation of lunch and breakfast specials. Perhaps the best piece of advice, though is to sign up for their free IKEA Family Members card. Not sure if this is only at the Las Vegas restaurant or if this is Ikea-worldwide. At least offer a $1-2 upcharge if the side is more expensive than the potatoes or peas. I would gladly pay that to get something I will eat rather than leave it off the plate and still be charged the same price. On a positive note, they now have a meatball sampler - 4 original, 4 veggie and 4 plant based for $5. However, I was not charged the correct price and was charged for individual orders of 4 meatballs. The veggie balls are chopped up mixed veggies and the plant protein are pea-based. I haven't shopped at IKEA in probably six years and I think the last time I hit their cafeteria was over 20 years ago, probably 25 if I think about it. I guess I had a warm enough memory of it that when my wife wanted me to go to IKEA with her, she talked me into it by saying we could grab dinner at the cafeteria. I do love meatballs. They're like their own food group in my world, so I agreed. The last time I had Swedish meatballs, I found a recipe online and made my own. They were pretty good and I guess I'm wondering why I haven't made them again since. They were definitely many orders of magnitude above the sad little things I was served at IKEA. Any meatball smaller than a golf ball is a waste of time and these were the size of marbles. If you remove the instant mashed potatoes, gravy and pees from the equation, you're paying about a $1 a marble. I don't consider that a good price. It honestly looked like a Swanson's Hungry Man dinner from the 1960-70's and the flavor was probably on par with that as well. In any case, I probably won't be back. Maybe they were good in the past and they put the team in charge of designing their low-quality, assemble-it- yourself furniture in charge of the recipes. That stuff is probably responsible for a significant portion of landfill deposits over the last 30-40 years since IKEA became ubiquitous in the US read more

Me and my Mom love coming here to eat whenever we visit IKEA. It is one of the highlights of our visit! Mom always gets the Swedish Meatballs and says they are the best she's ever eaten. I tend to get either the meatballs or the chicken tenders and neither ever disappoint! And I do not know where they get their BBQ sauce from but it is so good and rich! Very tasty combination with the chicken tenders. The last time we visited, they gave us the option to get more meatballs than what regularly comes with the entree. I do wish they would disclose that you are paying $1.50 per 4 extra meatballs, but I think it is a given that they are not offering you 12 or 16 instead of the usual 8 for free! lol! The seating area is huge, so it never feels like it is crowded. And I love the view you get of Summerlin and the mountains, or just the store in general, depending on where you sit. I always get the Lingonberry drink when I come because I have never seen it anyplace else and it is always so good and refreshing, especially on a hot summer's day. It's easy to take things for granted when they're always around you. Like, IN-N-OUT Burger, Trader Joe's or Swedish Meatballs from IKEA. These businesses are not in Hawaii and they're just some of the places that everyone from Hawaii hits up whenever we make it across the Pacific Pond. We arrived at noon and there was no one in line. This IKEA is wonderfully designed and very clean. The kitchen was immaculate. The food was so good! After eating, we walked around and looked at the furniture. We looked at the menu board and decided to order their namesake Swedish meatballs and salmon with hollandaise sauce. Both came with matchstick size veggies-different types of squash, and some other side-it was delicious too. We ordered a plate of fries too. I selected a Ginger flavored drink and my husband chose Pepsi. The food was really good, hearty, filling and delicious. It was a must try and for everything we ordered it cost $23.00. I think the food is alright, it is fairly priced. I thought they served Lingonberry juice? But I guess not- they just have coffee, tea, and the carbonated flavored water. Service wasn't really there but I think that's the appeal here at IKEA. I always try to eat here whenever stopping by, and I always get the Swedish meatballs with the jam and mashed potatoes. Cooked perfectly, gravy was really tasty. They come with mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, & streamed broccoli. Cranberry sauce was a good touch as it was a good balance to savory of everything else. The pulled pork sandwich came with your choice of side. This one was just ok, all you could taste was straight sauce. Probably wouldn't get that again. Sodas were good, definitely not as much sugar as regular sodas, & ooo can't forget to mention that they have that good ice. But you really can't complain for the price.
