Sooo glad I got to try Ike's! Found out about this sandwich shop from coworkers and, as luck would have it, it is close and delivery was an easy option. The menu is extensive - beyond what you see on the surface, if you look online, it's pretty crazy! I was most excited about the vegetarian/vegan options where so many other shops miss the mark, Ike's hits the bullseye with so many options and not just a sandwich with lettuce, tomato, cheese .... And if you're vegan? Yes, there is a vegan cheese option. And how about the sandwich rolls?? Done with their own take on the Dutch Crunch is delicious and unique. My Sammy was huge, very well made, and had ample toppings to fill that thick bread. Sadly, I forgot to take a photo. I ate this in 3 sittings! There is an app too and this is a must-do if you are nearby a shop - offers come in weekly, there are options to vote on two sandwiches with the winner being available on Saturday for a bogo deal- how awesome is that? I hope to see more shops coming closer to home but, happy to have one near my office. After a mini-group order, we have created a fan base here and the word is out about Ike's so I see more lunch orders in the future! read more

Always so curious about this place and finally was able to check it up! Arrived at a good enough time during lunch rush and had to wait about 15 minutes for our order. We were warned ahead of time about the wait which was considerate. It's a small corner shop with some tables and chairs but can get pretty tight! There's an outdoor area to sit when the weather is nice. I ordered the 30. Backstabber and it was awesome! Great flavor and pretty stuffed. Have lived in Central Park now for 3 years yet hadn't tried Ike's until now! Place was busy on a Saturday for lunch with folks eating inside and lots of take out orders. Service was slow due to the amount of people but the friendly cashier warned us in advance. The menu itself is large with lots of unique and fun named subs. The ambiance is cool with photos of Ike and various celebrities. I got the Da Vinci as I usually always go for an Italian type sub. The dirty sauce is on point and I could eat that on any sub! The French bread wasn't as fresh as I would have liked would be the only complaint but there are multiple to try from. read more

I got a sandwich to go and was happy with their protocols to make the sandwich in a separate area, there is a two dollar charge for gluten-free bread, but it was delicious and soft, unlike gluten-free buns and bread at many other restaurants. I've been coming here once a week for the past few weeks. Excellent friendly service and the sandwiches are amazing. The caramel apple sucker with the sandwich is also a great unique perk. Noah is often working the front when I visit and he is always bright and friendly. Ikes in the Central Park neighborhood is a good place to get a quick lunch. The front counter employee was fast and friendly when I was placing my order and a few moments later my food was ready. Had the Philly sandwich was grand in size so able to make two meals out of it. Had a great taste and flavor. This was my first time trying IKE's and it was delicious! The piquillo peppers and pickled shallots complemented the pork, which was so soft, perfectly. I definitely died and went to heaven at this point in the meal. Next was another small bite to lead into my next course, also incredible. Wish I could describe it. My next course was the European sea bass. Now, sea bass is my favorite fish of all time. The perfectly crisp skin, the red onion jam, the spicy sweet balance was perfection. I loved every bite. The olive oil potatoes were a perfect complement. And at this point, I was bursting at the seems... but I still ordered dessert, because you only live once and food is one of the great joys of life. For dessert, I had the crema. The Food is amazing, so many options to choose from. Even vegan options, so this place is great for a lot of people that have all different types of taste buds. The service here is amazing, nice, helpful, and cool people here. They will give you recommendations if you're not sure what to try or if you're craving a specific type of food they'll give you recommendations based on what you're feeling. The ambience is comfy. The light aren't too bright which is a plus for me because I have sensitive eyes and so it's easy on my eyes. I really like the ambiance, there's not much for me to say but it's a nice place to eat in at and the music is also nice but that can be subjective for most but everything about this place is amazing, along with the food. read more

My wife told me of Ikes and the sandwiches was by far the best we have ever experienced! The variety of sandwiches had my family in awe trying to choose which sandwich to try. My wife being a vegetarian had as many choices as us meat chompers!! If you haven't heard of tried Ikes yet.... Get over to them and get to chomping!!! You will not be disappointed!!
