My mom requested to come here for her birthday recently. She used to be a frequent customer here and always liked the food. The place overall very nice and also a large space. Upon being seated, our server greeted us. My mom had a birthday coupon for an appetizer which we noted to the server right away upon ordering the calamari appetizer. This dish was pretty good overall, no complaints here and would order again. We each ordered an entrée that came with soup and salad. Lemon Lentil and Cream of Mushrooms soups were ordered. It took a bit to receive this part of the meal because they ran out of the lemon lentil soup, which wasn't a problem. The cream of mushroom was really tasty. I had ordered a side of turnips and found they complimented this soup really well. The lemon lentil soup was really lacking in flavor. The lemon flavor was for sure there, but it was really bland aside from that. We all ordered Fattoush salads, which were enjoyable. Entrée portion sizes are large, so be prepared for a lot of food. Everything was OK, but nothing stood out as amazing. One of the dishes ordered a was the chicken parm entrée. The chicken was not as described on the menu. It arrived as baked chicken with nothing on it and was rubbery and hard to cut. It for sure was not a true Chicken Parmesan dish and really disappointing. The other entrees ordered were the Lamb and Green Beans, and the Shiek El Muhshi. Once we asked the server for to go boxes, she then never came back. Someone else brought the boxes and the check. No one ever came back to pick up the payment and we had to flag down another server to assist. She first had to adjust the bill because the appetizer was not discounted. We found it very strange that our server just disappeared without notice, quite frankly a display of poor customer service. We won't be back. I went here for a friend's birthday dinner. Ambiance was nice. Not too loud or quiet. A little warm but that could be because of our large party (20 people). I liked that they were able to accommodate our party (obviously with reservations). Service was okay. Some notes: 1) I ran out of water a few times and it was a hassle finding someone to fill it (but I understand they were working hard and actively helping accommodate our group) 2) They brought the wrong salad dressing my husband asked for. When they switched it out, they took the wrong cup (with lid) and threw it on top of the dirty dishes they were taking back to the kitchen. I don't know if it was now garbage, even though it hadn't been a touched, or if they were planning to reuse it now that it has touched dirty plates. 3) The sirloin steak topped with sautéed mushrooms was unevenly cooked. Part of it was medium-well (as requested) while the other part was burnt. The "sautéed mushrooms" miiiight have been the equivalent of one mushroom, but that's a stretch (see picture). 4) The chicken was dry. 5) I did enjoy the seafood soup, the Lebanese salad, and a side of veggies. The soup and salad were great first courses! However if I had known the chicken and steak were going to be disappointing I would have just stopped eating after the salad and then I may have left 4, maybe even 5 stars. 6) They brought a second bread basket out, but the first one still had bread in it. Do they just throw it away? It was untouched but obviously for sanitary reasons I understand that I cannot be served to someone else. Hopefully kitchen staff was willing to eat it. 7) Speaking of bread... they only serve bread and BUTTER packets. If you want the deliciousness that is garlic, you'll have to pay. Yikes. Kudos to them for allowing an outside birthday cake though! Overall, we got a lot of food for two of us. We paid $45, including tip. However, the quality of the main courses won't be inviting us back to Ike's. read more

I have to admit that my opinion of this place has definitely changed. Because it is a convenient location for meeting, my sisters and I have eaten here a number of times now. So my original review for a carry out was bad, see below, but my dine in experiences have been much better. They have very good hummus. I like their chicken Shawarma. Their beans soup is great. The portions are generous - You get a lot of food with your meal. Also we have been to a couple of catered events here and they do a nice job with the food for these. ************** We tried Ike's for the first time as a carry out. My husband picked it up on the way home from work. When he got home he told me that the staff there was rude. The woman behind the bar was on a personal call and could not care less that he was standing there waiting. I was really surprised by this, since I am usually the person who is sensitive to things like this, whereas my husband is more patient. For the most part I found that the food was just OK. The Fattoush chips were not typical, they were more like crackers. The salad dressing had way more lemon than I care for. The chicken kebab we got was burned. None of the meat was nicely browned. It was all pale or black. Carry out hommus was a nice size portion and was good. We would not go back. read more

That's the reason I decided to snap a picture and leave a review The tabbouleh was not good. It har a very very overpowering lemon taste. That's all you could taste. The meat shawarma was probably the best, and it wasn't even good. Some parts were very hard and it lacked flavor. The chicken cream chop was probably the second best and the one I ate the most of. However, it was severely lacking flavor. The rice was horrible. I love rice so this was a huge disappointment. I hardly touched the rice. The hummus was ok, but lacked flavor. Honestly, everything just lacked flavor. Except for the tabbouleh. It was drenched in lemon juice that you probably buy in a bottle. Oh!! The beef kafta definitely stood out. It was horrible. Everyone at the table agreed. The presentation was also sad. They had brought tabbouleh out before and I guess for some odd reason decided to add a spoonful to the dinner plates. Must've gathered the left overs from the appetizers and added a spoonful of it to each plate. Odd and cheap. The venue was ok. Kind of trashy. I saw couples cuddling in booths. This is really odd to me and makes me feel uncomfortable. I really enjoyed the party, it was a lot of fun. I'm glad my friend didn't get her dessert from here. Horrible mediterranean food. Don't recommend. Way better places in the area. I'm giving it 2 stars because the staff serving my friends party seemed really kind. One of them in particular seemed like a hard worker, I felt bad, he was working most of the party alone. He had long hair in a ponytail and I believe facial hair too. Well this was not what I expected at all! I have driven past here a million times. But always thought it was a banquet hall. But we were looking for a Mediterranean restaurant and saw food and I'm sick of all the usual places. This is a beautiful place. They have banquet rooms and a large dining and bar area. We chose to sit in a booth for a change. The booths are horseshoe shaped and face out so if you sit next to each other you can see everything going on. People watching can be fun. We had a pretty basic order. We both got fatoosh salads with chicken and feta. We also ordered bread and garlic sauce. Absolutely delicious!!! The chicken was cooked perfectly and not at all dry. Of course, I always end up with all of the seeds in my teeth. Now here is the kicker I love cheese cake and I love caramel. Like I can't resist it so when I saw the desert, I gave my puppy dog eyes and he agreed to split it with me. Oh wow! So worth the calories!! If nothing else come for this! Ugh! Horrible Experience..... My family and friends were celebrating my sister's Birthday Sunday. October 28th. What started off as a lovely evening soon went very wrong. The beginning of our experience started off with our excellent waitress Jackie. Jackie was awesome, she was friendly, interactive, & knowledgeable of all items on the menu. There was a total of 16 people in our party. 8 of our guest ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo which prove to be disastrous. (on several occasions in the past, when ordering this dish it was really good and tasty) however, this time the pasta was extremely blend and the sauce was so watery that the dish was more like soup then pasta. Now at $17/plate we expected better or at least eatable. When our guest begin to express concern, we ask to see the manager whose name is STEPHANIE. This manager, informed us that they had ran low on the ingredients used to make the fettuccine sauce so they had to stretch it with water in order to accommodate quest's request for extra sauce. This was unacceptable. So when our guest refused to eat the fettuccine and choose to return their meal, in exchange for somthing else, STEPHANIE (manager) informed us that she could not accommodate this request (smothered chicken)because they did not have the ingredients. Although, we questioned her response, STEPHANIE (manager) did agree to charge these guest 1/2 of their meal. So what was truly baffling to us was when the police were called at STEPHANIE'S (manager) request. Especially because no one was arguing, no one was beligerant, combative, rude, or loud. STEPHANIE (manager) shame on you for ruining what started off as a perfect evening. Perhaps the owner of this establishment should send STEPHANIE (manager) to several customer quality classes!! I wouldn't say that I would not refer people to this restaurant, because in the past, myself and other family members, had a great experience, but then of course we didn't have STEPHANIE to contend with and ruin our evening. read more

I like calling a spade a spade and in service, menu selection, quality, quantity and freshness, this place has it in spades! I ordered the New York Strip steak for $19.99. I received a cooked to perfection, thick, generous well-cut piece of meat. I also received warm, delicious bread, a huge baked potato (unlike the marble sized baked potatoes' the chains are now serving). I also received a big cup of clam chowder (it was creamy and milky not pasty and overly thick like so many cheap restaurants serve it). I ALSO received fresh roasted vegetables AND the best damn fatoush salad ever! I capped it all off with an $8.00 glass of Sea Bass cabernet sauvignon. I enjoy middle eastern food and there are a select few local establishments that hit the mark. I include Ike's in this category. In a recent visit, just after the Covid-19 lockout, I sampled the fried kibbie balls and grape leaves as an appetizer. Both were quite good and very tasty. Since there were three of us, our attentive waiter offered us a choice between 4 or 6 pieces of each. Great option IMO. I opted for the lamb Kafka sandwich along with the lentil soup. My sandwich was good and the soup was excellent with a hint of lemon flavor. The menu is extensive and offers many great dinner combinations that I plan on trying on my next visit. read more

This review if for the last experience at Ike's today, I ordered lamb and green beans for lunch a few weeks ago and was great had a lot of lamb I was real happy with it, today ordered same meal and had 6 very very small pieces of lamb the size of my thumb nail, when I asked the not so good waitress (I think manager) about it she pretty much said to bad if I want more it was an additional charge. I know I should of talked to Ike bc he is a good guy but I did not. I felt the waitress was rude and didn't want To hear how the meal was when I ordered it last time and blew me off. This review is for the meal today and the service and not in general, we have gone to Ike's for many years and to be treated this way was a slap in the face, won't be back for a while if ever. Picked up food for our family Christmas party on Sunday. Very polite and helpful guy load everything in my car. To bad the food was probably made on Friday. Probably some of the worst food I've ever had. So bad if I had the time I would have drove it back and threw it at the kitchen. Chicken Marsala was dry and tasteless London Broil?? WTF....scalloped potatoes, come on seriously? they scaled over because they were old. The fettuccini Alfredo was just plain bad. No taste. Maybe the worst I've ever had. Weird taste. If you crave Lebanese food, this is a solid choice that pleases. The shawarma is delicious, hummus creamy and authentic. Meats are luscious and expertly marinated. The salads are so fresh it's almost like they're made to order. If you like kibeh, raw or cooked... it's vert authentic and doesn't disappoint. Their menu system is neat, since it's on an iPad/touchpad of some sort, and you can click on the menu to see their many options along with a picture and description of what it is. I've been here twice. We've ordered off the Lebanese menu both times, lamb chops, Kafta platter & gyro platter. Platter comes with soup, salad and rice. My complaints are for the rice & the pita that come on the fattoush salad. Rice is like Minute-rice. Pita crisps not to be mixed in with the salad. It should be crunchy, not mushy. Came for Mother's Day brunch. Was seated at 4:15 and food didn't get to the table until nearly 7:00pm. One chicken dish had the middle of the chicken completely raw. Went here for my mothers 70th birthday with our family. I called and made a 7:00 reservation and was never told that we would still have to wait for a table if we made said reservation. We got to the restaurant at 7;00 and were not seated until a half hour later. There were plenty of open tables that needed to be cleaned off yet it seemed like the staff were in no rush. Once we were sat i realized that there was a air vent directly above me pushing freezing cold air out of it. So needless to say my son and I were cold and uncomfortable the entire time we sat. The food was good and our server was excellent but i just didn't feel like we were taken care of being that we were celebrating a big day and i had called ahead about it.
