Super cool place! I stumbled upon Imperial Lounge on a yelp search of places I wanted to try in Seattle while visiting from San Diego. According to other reviews it was fairly new and seemed worth a shot! I was very pleasantly surprised with my time spent there! This Peruvian inspired cocktail lounge was both aesthetically pleasing and warm. The staff (Sophia and Joe in this particular day) was welcoming and knowledgable of the menu. I was given a tasty bar snack of Choclo (fried corn) which I had never had and was a huge fan of! Additionally the owner called during my time there and had the bartender give all the patrons tequila truffles- which although not really my thing was very thoughtful an a fun try. Considering I had been previously eating my way through Seattle I really wasn't hungry, but nearby at the bar a woman had the Lomo which looked fantastic. It was offered on their happy hour menu (4:00-7:00) but I opted to stick with a liquid lunch of the house infused liquors. I finally settled on the vodka with grapefruit and worked with Sophia to make a delicious masterpiece! I had all intentions of returning, especially with it being walking distance to my Airbnb but simply ran out of time. I'll be sure to repay them a visit on my next trip to Seattle and highly encourage you to do the same. read more

The food was over priced and not nearly as good as the price dictated! I ordered the soft shell crab burger and it was mostly bread and mayo! The crab was nowhere to be found! The order of truffle fries were nothing special! In fact they were the exact same as the regular fries that came with the "burger". Unfortunately the drinks were the only highlight of the dinner! The Imperial Lounge has a fancy yet chill ambiance. The decor was classy with some chill beats in the background. Service was phenomenal. We were greeted immediately, and our bartender walked us through his cocktails and recommended some great ones. My wife and I each had a Mezcal Rita that was perfect and exactly as he described - simple and smokey. Liking the Mezcal recommendation, my second cocktail was a Mezcal Mule. Both drinks were spot on! A little pricey, but I didn't mind with this level of service and quality! Definitely recommend trying it out! read more

The friendliest service ever. I'd 100% come back for this, and the food is great too. Chips and salsa are fresh and house made, and the bar is fully stocked so you can order whatever you like. Came in on a Friday for happy hour which goes later than any place I know of in Seattle. The bartender, Lindsey, makes great cocktails, doesn't rush and is super nice. We both had quesadillas (chicken and barria) and both tasted fresh and delicious. 5 out of 5, will come again. read more

Came across this place after arriving in town for a visit over thanksgiving. Both bartenders have GREAT energy and love to have fun. Drinks were poured well (and even creative). Yikes... ordered wine and my first 2 tries they were out of... bartender came back and showed me a bottle of wine and said 'it's either 14 hands or whatever this is' . Ordered a gin martini with 2 olives... he brought my martini without olives and said 'I'm behind. Don't have time to garnish'. Ordered the Burria tacos. Meat was dry. Salsa had no flavor. I've been to this place twice. First time was a great experience so I decided to bring a friend and show her the place. It was a horrible experience the bartender didn't know the difference between blanco and repasado tequila and brought us the wrong shots even after we went to the bar and helped point to the correct bottle. The food was not the same as the first time I ordered it and even though we were the only table there we didn't get our waters refilled or get checked on at all. The staff was really nice and the drinks were good. The food does not match the images whatsoever. It was a small one page menu of tacos and nachos. The food was super over salted. Every single dish we ordered had too much salt. The music was horrible and was really loud and random songs. This evening I tried this new place for the first time. I arrived around 5:45 pm - just in time to order from the Happy Hour menu. I ordered a Cilcano, which is a refreshing drink made with Pisco, ginger ale, and lime juice. It's perfect for summer. I ordered Lomo and enjoyed the wonderful aroma emanating from the grill while I waited. OMG! The Lomo is to die for. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service was quick and friendly. Came in on a Sunday night, it wasn't busy. We were blown away by the food. I had the pork sandwich, which was a tasty combo of delicious pork, sour pickled onion salad, and sliced sweet potato on a Macrina bakery baguette. My husband got the Loco beef, and cleaned his plate. The non-alcoholic corn drink was delicious and apparently made from scratch. Overall, this was so much better than the popular Peruvian restaurant in Portland. I will definitely be back. Sadly 21+ only. read more

Really nice place for a quiet evening of cocktails. The drinks are not outrageously pricey, and are made well. We came here on a Friday evening and snagged a table easily. There was a steady stream of customers throughout the night, but it never got loud or hectic, nor did it ever seem like a ghost town. Just a nice night of guests coming in and out, having drinks, snacks, or dinner. Service was very attentive throughout the night. I have been here 3 times - the first was great as to the food, though the service sub-par. 2nd time - just a drink at happy hour - and service was OK and almost no one was there. 3rd - last night - service - abso-awful :( I had to chase down my waitress 3 times - she was the only server in a rather full restaurant - plus she was bartending (so, I blame the management). The food was good - tacos - but, I waited a very long time plus could see it was waiting for her to pick-up but there was no one to retrieve it - that was the 2nd time I had to find her. The 1st was to get a water glass, 2nd for my food, 3rd to pay my bill. Also - the got rid of the great chicken dish that my friend and I loved when we were there in June - sigh. What a huge disappointment. Expecting good Peruvian food and did not get it. Maracuya sours were red. When I asked about that, the waitress said we make our own mix. Great, but it should be yellowish orange, not red. The internet said they have Tiradito, when I asked, the waitress had never heard of it. This place is beautiful but the downfall is the service and food presentation. It was very slow and there were 2 gentlemen working and both were standing and talking and staring off while we sat there for almost 10 mins. Finally food menus came. I got a burger and it was served on a slated plate, with no plate edge and it was super skinny and long, my food was falling off all over; really wished they'd either use a larger plate or regular plate. Only reason for the 3rd star was because the service was super friendly even though incredibly slow. read more
