Now that I live in Chicago, I crave In-N-Out all the time. Luckily for me, I visit my family often and get to fulfill these cravings. This In N Out location is ideal for me because I've driven back and forth from Chicago a few times now and I always take the 40 route. This is the first and last In-N-Out location for me dependí no if I'm coming or going, but I've had great experiences here whether it be in the drive-thru or going inside. This is the last in and out as far east as you can get on the way to my home without going even more south to Prescott. I love it because it's something different than what is available in my area. The service was great and it was fast. Prices are cheaper than cooking at home. I'm always going to stop here if I'm in the area no matter what. The service was awesome every time I visit the restaurant all the workers are so friendly . Today is Veterans Day. My husband and I are veterans , the promotional for veterans on veterans was a free meal and didn't specify anything. So my husband and I got 2 4X4 meals But the veterans only covered 1 burger meal with 1 and 2 patties . We had to pay 4$ extra , the cashier apologized for the confusion we said it's ok she doesn't make the signs so she isn't at fault . I have heard of this restaurant for years but never traveled to a state that had one. I was going to the Grand Canyon from Vegas and was in search of one but got hungry and ate at another chain only to find one close. I was so disappointed but marked it down for the return home. Even a few minutes after opening, there was a large number of guests. The burgers are fresh and its definitely worth the wait. The staff is friendly and helpful abd the food is absolutely amazing. In-bout is the best burger in the west but is definitely tasty. It's a taste of growing up in Southern California. It reminds of those occasions when we were kids stopping in Baldwin Park fir a taste of fresh made burgers. So today I wanted to have a little reminder of home. I ordered my burger and fries. And waited. As much staff that was on duty I was disappointed that they weren't working better with each other. The young man that took my order was busting his butt to stock supplies, that should have been done since I was order 38. He was getting orders out and fixing what wasn't correct or missing. We always visit this In-N-Out because it is on our way to either California or Nevada. Depending on what time you visit, thankfully this time they were open for dine in services. This is probably the most favorite stop of anyone on a Grand Canyon tour. This CA burger joint has extended its popularity to this state and everybody is loving it( opps, apologies Mc D!) Though I think their burger quality is just fine, I am not a big fan of thousand island in the first place so it doesn't appeal to me to have it slathered over everything. Their fries are always so dry and hard and remind me of cold McDonald's fries, even though they are supposedly made fresh.
