In and Out never ceases to satisfy my everything. The service here is always warm, friendly and efficient. Even though at times it can be very, very insanely busy. I find it hard to be that gracious under that kind of pressure. Kudos to them. Last nights burger though, was an exception. Probably the best I've ever had there. Yummmy burgers, better than most fast food joint (only because I've never tried all of the fast food burgers out there =p ) They have an 'underground' menu, so if you've been a regular you kind of pick it up. You can get your fries "animal style", meaning with their sauce and cheese on top. And you can have your burger a certain way too .. although I just get the regular cheeseburger, fries, and drink. Don't come here for the following reasons: 1. always crowded, hard to find a park, when you do find parking, you have to wait another 1hr before you eat. 2. and if you think you'll be better off in the drive-thru, you'll be there even longer. 3. understaffed, dirty tables and dirty restrooms, and when i told them they were out of seatcovers and towels, they just said "okay, thanks." and nothing happened. 4. fast but not friendly at all, they messed up on my order because they were trying so hard to serve everyone all at once. stop, breathe, calm down, and take one customer at a time, so you won't have to give me an attitude when I come back to tell you that you gave me the wrong order, I am sorry I cannot just take whatever you feel like handing out. 5. once again, the staff is not doing rounds, the ketchup ran out for 30minutes before they can figure out which person would go refill it. 6. i don't know what is wrong with their shake machine, but my shake is not cold, it is like lukewarm, yuck!!! read more

As good as it gets for an In-N-Out. Busy, but the staff cranks it out, mistake free. They always repeat your order back to you. I know they are all supposed to do that but they all don't. Bonus: I witnessed a busboy find 5 bucks in a booth. The people came back 10 minutes later for the money. The busboy had turned it in to the lost and found so the kid got his money back. Fresh, delicious, quick, and affordable! Every time I'm on the west coast, I try to at least have In N Out once! Burgers aren't very healthy, but In N Out is always worth it! I came and had lunch with my uncle here straight from the airport and only spent $12 on a meal for two of us. It can't get any better than that! No idea how this in n out doesn't have 5 stars! I mean, for fast food they're the best and it seems like everyone at this location has the best attitude with their customers. Even when a customer complained about their burger today, the staff literally had the cooks refire the burger ASAP and put them ahead of everyone. It's mind blowing how well in n outs employees work, and how great they all work together. My go to whenever I go to in n out (doesn't matter what location) is always a number one with grilled onions and cheese fries. I still don't know how they get the cheese to melt perfectly on the fires while still leaving the fries crisp and crunchy! Love this food chain and love this location. Couple weeks later, i got another chocolate milk shake and they put barely any chocolate in it.. tasted like vanilla milk shake. After passing a GRIP of In-N-Out Burger joints all along California highways (while on a road trip) I was DETERMINED to get my double double animal style and well done fries!! Of course, I didn't actually get to enjoy my double double while exploring our beautiful state, I had to wait til I got back home! Generally, this location is pretty crowded ALL THE TIME, but I got lucky this week and managed to show up while the drive thru line was relatively short...there were only 3 cars ahead of me!! I never eat in my car, but I certainly didn't wanna go home and SHARE my food so I got my little lap mat and dove in... OMG!! This was my first animal style burger - THE BOMB!!! And well done fries is definitely the way to go. I was disappointed with the size of my rootbeer float - so I know next time to get a large! Every now and then I crave a burger. A really good burger for lunch. In-N-Out does it for me. And today, at the Katella mall location, they hit every button. I'm a purist. Single patty, no cheese, grilled onions. No fries. The burger, picture perfect. 1. Beautifully toasted bun. Evenly browned, shiny coat, fresh and tasty on top, slight crunch on the bottom. 2. Thousand Island dressing, with diced pickles, visible before I picked up the burger. 3. Three thin slices of tomato. 4. Crunchy mound of lettuce. 5. Warm and juicy patty. I enjoyed every bite. So much so, I bought another one from a different location that evening. Such a disappointment. That's another story, I'll write up in a second. Kudos to whoever made that burger. It was a winner! [Side note: has anyone noticed that In-N-Outs are usually near freeway exits?] Like most In-N-Out's it is well kept and burgers are made with fresh ingredients. Even though this place can get crowded theres plenty of seating in and out of this location. Before 12 it's not as busy but anything after your gonna be there waiting for a place to sit. Drive thur is quick as well and close to the 605 if you need that highway access. Parking may be a struggle at times only because they share parking with Chick-fil-a but thats only in the afternoon and later in the day. read more

I ordered 2 cheese burgers, 2 fries and 2 shakes. The shakes were disgusting and warm. The burger looked good until I opened it up to put more sauce on. The patty was tiny and pushed towards the top of the bun to make it appear like it was the same size as the bun so basically only half the burger had meat. Major rip off!! read more

The staff doesn't listen, or wasn't listening during my last visit. Separate bags means separate bags. Gluten sensitivity means don't put your glutened hands in my bag. It seems service at most locations has really taken a dive. Cold fries, undercooked burgers, orphaned onions in my no-onion burger, boxes instead of To Go bags, etc. Sad. Sometimes rushing causes errors. New locations should have double drive-thru lanes to decrease staff pressure during long lines. That was strike 3 and I will never eat here again. Maybe your fries would have a little flavor if you changed your oil occasionally. I've never written a review for fast food but today is special. Came in to this location with a big party of nine and six "hangry" kids in the middle of lunch hour. We all just did a short hike and you can only imagine the chaos that came with ordering. This one guy named Anthony took care of us, very calmly and very patiently took each of our order until everyone got exactly what they wanted. I just appreciate how much we weren't rushed and even though our group was loud and annoying, we were still treated with dignity and respect. Now THST's what I call service!!! They even split our milk shake orders into different cups so everyone can have a share. This will now be my go to in-n-our location whenever you're m in this area. Thanks again Anthony! I love In-n-out ! Esp this one! This is my childhood in-n-out spot. I always used to get the stickers and try to solve the puzzles. Now as I gotten older, I love going there for the animal fries and Cheeseburers with grilled onions. Never would I have thought that I would be writing a Yelp review for In N Out of all places. Alas, here I am. A female employee who was taking orders in the drive through came up to my car and refused to take my order, and rudely told me I have to go all the way around and try again. This was after she took her sweet time taking the order of the car in front of me. To elaborate... There are no arrows telling you which way to go for the drive through, only a sign that says "Enter", to which I responded by turning since the entrance was to the right. There is also road construction going on making this even more frustrating. When I arrived at the drive through, I realized I was at a slightly awkward angle. Nonetheless, I was in line with no cars behind me. In the amount of time that it took the lady to take the order of the car in front of me, about 5 other cars arrived. The one "behind" me was leaving a gap in the line, allowing me to go forward since I had been waiting there. There was absolutely NO reason that this lady had to be so obnoxiously rude. I promise you girl, you would not have been fired for taking 2 seconds to take my order. Especially because of the lack of direction, the other car letting me go, me having waited there for 3-5 minutes as the ONLY car.
