The hospitality at this location is exceptional. It is a busy location with the usual walking greeter/order receptionist. But there are also servers helping in the patio and inside to help with extras like napkins and extra ketchup. Then there is the main entertainment attraction, coming in about every two to three minutes. The jets fly low and just across the street from the patio viewing area. All of the jets catch your eye, but the 747s are awe-inspiring. A fellow diner commented that he expected a touristy gimmick, but he agreed the jets are awesome. We were in LA for the long weekend and first stop after the airport was In n Out. Who visits CA and doesn't stop for a hamburger. Parking was a nightmare and you have to be careful when you park on the street because I heard tickets here come really fast. After driving around for like 10 minutes we were able to find street parking. It's right by the airport so you can sit outside and see the planes. When we walked it was packed but the line to order your food went by very quickly. We did wait a little bit for our food, but to be honest we did ordered a lot of it. BUSY. Since this is the closest one to LAX airport they got A LOT of business. The wait inside can be a bit, but they're efficient and work thru the orders as quickly as possible. The drive thru line can also be insane. I recommend sitting outside to watch the planes fly by because they are REALLY close. For some reason on this particular visit, the fries were ridiculously good. Usually the fries are just meh for me. My go to is a double protein style with onions and chopped chilis. This place is crazy busy, so be patient driving to it. Many people park on the street and walk in - as their drive through is pumpin' non-stop, and it takes a bit to get into the parking lot. Then, if there are no stalls, you'll queue along the one way lot around the building. The line to order moves relatively quickly, and do be nice to those who need to cross the line to get to the restrooms. Once you order, there's a long shared bench to await your meal, or, best wishes finding a table (I got waved down by a departing guest to take his seat - thank you, that was so thoughtful!), and if you're dining alone, watch out - some Harvard jacketed person with a ginormous backpack might move your nicely prepped table setting - complete with napkins, a full beverage cup, and two brand new, freshly filled ketchup cups, to try and take your table (while you walk a few steps away to get your food because your number was called). No worries, though, the outside tables are spacious and you'll get to watch the planes landing-which can be very cool! (There's a park-like grassy area across the street where you can video them to your heart's delight.) Back to the food - I normally don't accept the onions, but today I did, along with the spread, and it was yummy. Love the generous lettuce and fixings in my go-to cheeseburger. (I usually eat all my fries first while they're warm, guess I'm weird like that...;)!) Love the variety of beverages, including iced tea, and if you like jalapenos, there's an ample supply at that station. (The ketchup station is conveniently located in the middle of the restaurant.) Despite the sheer volume of customers dining and dashing, this place was super clean! Staff members were constantly sweeping and while I was waiting behind another diner to empty my trash, a staff member came by to take the tray from me instead. Thank you! As aviation enthusiasts, we stopped by this In-N-Out burger to check out the food (we haven't eaten here before) and to also check out the planes taking off and landing. The parking lot is a nightmare, but we eventually found a spot to park at. We waited in line to order, which took ages, but the staff was efficient and we eventually got our food some 40 minutes later. The burgers are some of the best looking burgers I've seen, though the meat to toppings ratio is appalling, but I guess that's their formula. On the bright side, all the toppings were fresh and this burger was something you mostly see in movies and magazines. This is the location right next to LAX airport and I'm guessing it's probably the busiest In-N-Out in their company. Had to stop as this place was one of my Hero Anthony Bourdain's favorite and must stops when he would come to LA. Usually busy with long lines but I'm super impressed by their staff that works like a well oiled machine getting everyone through. Very fast and efficient, there is a wait usually but considering they make everything to order this place works great. It packed and loud but just really good LA vibes. The food here is always consistent and reliably delicious . This visit I got cheese fries, a Flying Dutchman with grilled onions and a double double protein style and man it hit just like I remembered. Always one of my favorite meals when I'm in LA and definitely one of the best value bang for the buck meals you can get in California. Definitely recommend this spot, don't let the lines fool ya it moves fast and the food is good. If you love never been it's worth a stop. read more

I was disappointed with my trip to this In-N-Out location earlier this week. I've been to other locations before, so I know how good it can be, but this last visit here was a miss. I came on a Monday night, and it was absolutely slammed. Makes sense as it's next to LAX. The drive-thru was 30 cars deep, and very few seats were available inside or out. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they were actively cleaning, so no complaints about the restaurant or the team. The food, however, was just not up to the standard I've had before at other locations. The bottom bun on my double-double was hard and falling apart. Too much lettuce, not enough sauce, even though I got animal style, and the fries tasted old. I could hardly eat the burger as I had to ditch the bun altogether. Maybe the cooks were just overwhelmed? There were a ton of customers. Regardless, I'll likely frequent a different location in the future. read more

This spot is notoriously busy due to it being so close to the airport (planes literally fly overhead when landing) so the noise levels and popularity make it a less than desirable experience, however the staff work very hard to get everyone in and out quickly. Food comes out fast and quality is solid so I would say this spot performs best as a take out and leave place, but they do have plenty of seating. I'm not saying that out of spite, but it's near impossible to take a picture-perfect snap. Everyone has different tricks. My wife is a little short and had trouble taking a good picture. I tried briefly by standing on one of the rocks to get a better vantage point. The food here is the same quality as any location. You really can't go wrong with a Double Double Animal Style. It gets a little messy and the bun gets a bit soggy, but you really can't beat this burger at that price. The Animal Style Fries were delectable as always. I recommend sitting outside, snapping your pictures, and then making your way across the street for a picnic at the park where you will be joined by many other families lounging in camping chairs, having a picnic, and taking in the sights of the planes landing at LAX. Grab yourself a Neapolitan Shake for dessert, and you have a very satisfying meal! We will definitely be back! read more

I had In-N-Out for the first time in Vegas a few years ago and I didn't get the hype but I think I just didn't know how to order it.
