Where is the beef! Where's the beef! Where's the beef! What a rip-off!

Anyone who gives Taco Bell, on Lincoln, more than one star has to be an employee, owner, owners relative, or landlord. This place Is super awful dispute the remodel.

More tortilla then anything else for $3.69

Not worth the wait or your money. This is the second time I've come to the location and it was 2 times too many. Last time the cinnamon twists were left out of the order. Ok no biggie I didn't need them after the long wait. Today I received a bag with 1/2 my order and was told it was all there. Good thing I checked. My order was missing 3 items and when I told the cashier she handed me 1 of the three items(cinnamon twists) and was like ok "you good?" Then once I got my remaining items and what do you know it is some rinkadink excuse for a Crunchwrap. I've learned my lesson and will not be wasting my time or money at this location.

Not wearing masks.

Honestly, a horrid location with horrid and rude staff. I understand that there's a COVID19 situation going on, but that doesn't excuse you from speaking to me like my dietary restrictions aren't important. I asked for simple substitutions like sauce or for an additional biscuit and I was yelled at and degraded by the dumpster fire who was working the cash register inside today. On top of that, he didn't even speak English that well. The oddest part of the experience is that the other employees who are fluent in English didn't even bother stepping in to help. They just watched in horror. On top of all of that, the rude cashier wasn't wearing his mask over his nose and one dude wasn't even wearing a mask at all!

Cheese and Doritos?

We ordered two bean and rice burritos, make it fresco with no cheese. I don't know what we received.

This is my favorite Taco Bell to go to out of all the Taco Bell's in the greater Los Angeles area. Ask for Alejandra, she has superior service and will make sure your visit is a great one!!! Service is always amazing hear and in such a lovely neighborhood you will regret not going to this little hidden spot! My daily visits are always 5-Star quality !!!!!

I was impressed by the huge selection of the menu! His location is a combination of KFC or Kentucky Fried Chicken and Taco Bell combined! However, the store itself is in very poor condition it has a lot of issues with the seats and are not in the greatest condition. The cleaning of the store is in very poor condition! Most of the tables are very filthy and dirty and not kept up! The employee on the cashier Sabrina, doesn't really care about working here. I got the impression that you didn't really care if I ordered or not! When she give me my receipt she cut the receipt in half and didn't give me the other portion of it I have to ask you for it! From the other side of the counter, it appeared to the kitchen looked fairly in good condition! However, I do believe it's probably a lot dirtier than it looks! I have driven by the store many many times, never actually ate here until now! The food itself was it was okay, but I believe that I would not come back here again because this location did not look in satisfactory condition!

Beef taco with extra cheese.

The Taco Bell on Lincoln and Manchester is the best Taco Bell/Kentucky fried chicken by far. They never get the order wrong and it's always fresh and hot. When you ask for extra cheese they give you extra cheese.

Doritos locos tacos
Anthony N.

***The Doritos taco shell in the Doritos Locos Taco lacked a real Dorito flavor; the new menu item was thus average and disappointing*** (The Simpsons) Homer: "Hey, Apu, you got that new beer with candy floating in it...Skittlebrau?" Apu: "No such product exists sir. You must have dreamed it." Homer: "Well, then just gimme a six pack and a bag of Skittles." Growing up in the Midwest, my first experience with a tortilla chip was a Dorito. And even though I wouldn't consider Taco Bell to be an authentic representation of Mexican food, one of my first experiences with Mexican food or pseudo Mexican food was Taco Bell. I think several people might be in the same boat because the advertising for Taco Bell's Doritos Locos Taco seems to tug at the inevitable and perfect combination of those two nostalgic food experiences. The TV commercials were really well done; instead of the in-your-face food shots and fire you get in most Taco Bell commercials, they focused simply on footage of people enjoying the taco and seemingly perfect narration: "It is everything you imagined it could be." The concept and the advertising pulled me in, but I ultimately felt the taco was disappointing (the taco was passable enough as fast food, but it was nothing greater than that). Part of it is that (for me at least) you cannot go home again when it comes to childhood food. Just because you grew up on McDonald's and Lay's does not mean you are going to love them as much after you've tried much better burgers and potato chips. I have never really been a big fan of Taco Bell--even as a kid--but Doritos have a good crunch and an artificial salty cheese flavor that is not that bad (even today). I definitely like them less now than I used to though (I still like Bob Evans' sausage gravy and biscuits even though they are probably not the most homemade out there. And if they brought back Jell-O Pudding Pops, I'm sure the first taste would make me realize why I loved them so). But while my expectations were thus moderate going in, I did not think the Doritos Locos Taco was the best representation of that flavor combination. The taco part delivered as expected. The ground beef was what you would expect with Taco Bell (flavorful enough but I have never liked how fine their beef is; almost like a puree). There was also the standard shredded lettuce and cheddar cheese. My first Mexican fast food experience was at Casa Del Taco in southern Ohio. For that taco, they used that very thinly shredded, fine and soft cheddar cheese (kind of similar to what you would get with Cincinnati chili). That cheese works better. The softness is kind of a contrast and it allows for a little more natural melting too. While the taco portion was as expected, the Dorito taco shell did not really have a noticeable Dorito flavor. It did not have that reddish orange color or provide that get-artifical-cheese-all-over-your-hands type experience. Instead, it ended up tasting like a stale Dorito or just a plain corn chip. I also had their nachos supreme (pretty similar to what you would expect, but it could use more color like the green onions of old though I think they moved away from them after that one bad experience). This Taco Bell is combined with a KFC and I had some hot wings too. I am typically okay with their hot wings, but these had been sitting around a while because they were dry. Service has often been bad here and even on this visit, there definitely seemed to be a lack of management control. The cashier though on this visit was more professional and personable than I have had in the past at this location. Prices are consistent with most fast food chains. However, when you order a la carte, your meal can actually get quite expensive if you are not careful. I was not a big fan of the Doritos Locos Taco, but you should probably consider giving it a try if you are intrigued by the concept. I am not sure if this is the best location for it though since the food at this Taco Bell seems to be not as good/fresh as other locations. Like other Taco Bells, this location has a free parking lot and it is easy to find an open space.

Breakfast of champions!

I got the Billa platter with chicken, asada, chorizo, & the weekend special barbacoa. They were all great and it was probably too much food for me with all the cheese, meat, and guac. My favorite was definitely the pollo, the flavor was amazing and was one of ghe best chicken tacos I've ever had. The chorizo was also good, as it had the potatoes mixed in. The steak was solid, but it tasted too similar to the chorizo to me so it was hard for me to differentiate. The barbacoa was good but I wish the meat was a little more tender. Overall, I was not disappointed and will definitely be back for the chicken queso tacos!

Their salsas are really good and so is their agua frescas. Ordering in the store is small, so the ambiance is well kept and clean but space is limited. They do have a good organized system though, so they make it work.

They had the masa on the side and were making the tortillas fresh and by hand. Yum. Payment: - They take Apple pay! :) Parking: - We found street parking nearby thankfully, but it might be hard to find in general due to the area. Having been to so many taco stands, I think what makes Tire Shop Taqueria really stand out are the right-off-the-grill charcoal-grilled meats, the freshly made tortillas literally in front of you as you are waiting on line, and the free guacamole that comes with each taco. The ordering process is like any other taco stand, though one difference is here the salsas/guacamole are all handled by the staff. If you'd like more of something, just ask them instead of reaching for the ladle yourself. There is a separate area though for grilled onions/peppers and radishes you can serve yourself. I got the asada, chorizo, cabeza, and al pastor, and they were all so good. The asada and chorizo are specifically grilled over charcoal, and that flavor really shines through. I loved how meaty and tender the cabeza was too, and the classic al pastor hit the spot. They have large communal tables setup, so it is a great friendly vibe to enjoy your meal I will say, the surrounding area is not the best in LA, especially given how the taco stand is only open at night. The parking lot is quite small, so I parked on a side street that had some abandoned cars, but of course, if you are in/from LA, this is not that new for us. I would hesitate if I am a tourist though to make it out here. Anyhow, the food really is worth it here, and I can't wait to be back!

We found easy street parking in the neighborhood on 41st Street, and waited in line for about 15-20 minutes. We ordered the asada tacos. They pre-sauce your tacos, which was fine by me, but my boyfriend who can't handle as much spice would've preferred it on the side (so warning for anyone similar! they do put a little habanero on them, so just ask them for salsa on the side). I think I ran into a problem of reading too many raving reviews -- these tacos were good but I was expecting them to be mind blowing, so I was a little disappointed. I tasted the charcoal char, but kind of wished the taste was more pronounced, or at least the meat more seasoned. The hand made tortillas were definitely the coolest part, but I thought they were a little dry too. The ladies whipping those out are artists though. Actually, all the workers here have the assembly line down to the tea, and they definitely add a little flare for a show. I particularly liked how they had a lot of seating at this location, instead of just a couple stools lying around like most taco trucks. It felt more like outdoor patio seating than a normal taco stand. They could probably take more time to wipe down tables more often though. Overall would visit again if in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way for the tacos here.

The tacos were loaded with a pretty decent amount of meat and toppings. But sadly we were far from impressed by the flavor. The asada was okay and better than the tripa, but it paled in comparison to our go-to taco trucks in the area which only costs $1. And the tripa was strange to eat in taco form. The tripa is crunchy small pieces so it just feels odd to eat in a taco. Maybe if it was just served as an appetizer to eat by itself, but even then, it kinda just feels like you're eating pellets. Don't see the hype unfortunately.
