Did drive thru just before noon. Was not that busy. Asked for help ordering from the fellow at the drive thru line. He was patient and helpful. As this was my first time here I asked for suggestions. I ended up with a double double no onions and a chocolate milk shake. Ambiance: mainly my car, but drive thru line was neat, no garbage, clean, clearly marked. After I ordered and pulled ahead I was thinking I should try the fries. At the payment window I asked to add the fries and they did without any hassle or fuss. Waited a little to get to the pickup window and my stuff was all ready when I arrived. Drove home to eat. First off, all the food was very fresh tasting, especially the fries. Burger was done well, juicy and in good proportion of meat to bun and veggie and cheese. Fries were barely salted, which I like, and they gave me some salt and ketchup packets on the side. I just used a little ketchup. Milkshake was also very clean, fresh tasting and good chocolate flavor but not overly sweet. Overall a decent meal, cost not bad, but I don't get the hype about this place. Maybe I need to try some other items?! I'll stop by again to try more of the menu, but will not make a special trip for it.

Just another decent in n out, service is always great, place is decently clean. However, I feel like I do always get food poisoning from In-N-Out.

Can never go wrong with in-n-out. Stopped by here after the movies and the line as usual is always long. The consistency of this restaurant is always on point and the food is always great. Got a onion 3 by 3 no salt. In-n-out is always the place that hits the spot.

    poorly crafted strawberry shake

As a lifelong fan of in n out, this strawberry shake from this Mountain View location was quite disappointing. It was not mixed at all, and did not taste like the in n out standard. Be wary of this in n out location!

In-N-Out is pretty consistently a great spot to grab a bite. This one is no exception. Can't go wrong with a double double. I even gave protein style a try. Still delicious

It was no surprise that there was already a long line at this In N Out at 11:15 AM on a Sunday morning. Because it was still early folks were ordering at the drive-thru menu. Around 11:25 an employee came out and started taking orders via their tablet. The line started moving much faster after that. Ordered two plain cheeseburgers, a cheeseburger with just lettuce, and a double double with grilled onions. For drinks we went with 2 vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate shakes. The burgers are always consistently made and taste fresh. We love the thick milkshakes here. Although there's an on-site parking here, many of the spaces will be difficult to get In N Out of, pun-intended, due to the long line of drive through traffic. With Costco across the street, this area is quite busy with a lot of cars. It can be a challenge making a left out of In N Out to get to the freeway.

Got the grilled cheese with extra veggies and animal style fries. This was a great first experience, and despite how busy it was, the food came out relatively fast!

Never not satisfied. Can I say that? The love how it is just off the freeway.

Came for late night food around 11:30 PM. Luckily it wasn't too crowded so we got our food pretty quick. Surprisingly this was the best fries I've had from In n Out, pretty crunchy and also a generous serving!

Cheeseburger ($4.10) Flavor was good but the patty was very thin.

I really like In N Out. It's been a very long time since I've been here. My husband and I were in the area and had a craving. Their simple menu is straightforward, and the prices were very reasonable (burger, $4.10; fries, $2.40). I like that they accommodate well done fries--I just love that crunchyness rather than soft. Plus, the serving portion was very generous. The cashier was very friendly and cheerful. The place was very clean. There was someone always cleaning something. The food was very good and the ingredients were fresh, but I was remarked how thin the burger patty was.

Took my wife to her first time to In N Out Burger as usual, they didn't disappoint! So super busy as they always are.I have been before, but she hadn't, and I really built it up, and still they exceeded my and her expectations. A tasty and well made Burger and warm crispy fries (lots of them). It had been a while, but that first bite was as good as I had remembered and could not have been better. They are still the best, and their prices are very reasonable. If you've never been, you're really missing out.If you get the chance, don't pass it up,you regret it if you don't. Only wish we had them back home in Wisconsin!

I came here today got the cheeseburger combo with fries n soda and as always you can't go wrong with in and out burger were the food is tasty. The employees are top notch and the place is very clean.Plus they have a big parking lot

Service was very good. Ambiance was also great I ordered 2 Hamburgers but they were very plane. The sauce they put on their burgers was not tasty at all which is what I was looking forward to since I was craving this for a few days. I also noticed there was Not a lot of sauce in them. I hope is only the Mountain View location with tasteless sauce.

How is the parking here? I'd imagine it gets pretty busy given it's next to a freeway exit.

You'll always find parking even when it's super busy. But in the slight chance you don't, you can always park across the street in the Costco parking and walk across.

I'm new to the bay area, how does this chain compare to five guys?

They're both delicious burger chains. I'd say it depends on your tastes to say which is better. Five guys has a cleaner taste imo but I still prefer to get in n out

Okay but... a hotel coffee shop with good matcha? (Underrated luxury.) Now, the hotel itself? Visually... a moment. It looked like someone invested serious money into it, but the design felt a little space-meets-startup-meets-what's-happening-here. Some elements felt elevated, others felt a bit makeshift. I genuinely couldn't tell what the theme was -- futuristic? celestial? boutique-on-a-budget? I'm still processing. The front desk team was clearly well-trained and knowledgeable -- they had every answer, every stat, every rate breakdown ready. But the warmth? Missing. I was hoping for a little storytelling since I'd never heard of the hotel before, and instead got a very matter-of-fact "we've been here five years" energy. Efficient, yes. Inviting, not quite. But let's talk about why you're really here: the coffee shop. Completely different vibe. Two people working, both genuinely happy, welcoming, and quick. We ordered a latte and a matcha to go -- total was about $22, which made me blink for a second -- but then I tasted the matcha. Oh. This wasn't the overly sweet, dusty-green situation you sometimes get. It tasted clean. Real. High-quality. The kind of matcha that feels intentional. I love Firehouse in Marin, but this? This was closer to serious coffee roaster-level quality. Smooth, organic-tasting, beautifully balanced. You could tell they care about what they're serving. Branding was strong, the space was cute, and I could absolutely see myself sitting there with my laptop pretending I'm writing something important. We grabbed ours to go, but it had that easy, airy, "stay awhile" energy. Would I book the hotel? Jury's still out. They don't have an in-house spa and mentioned bringing in third-party services for certain amenities, which made it feel a little less full-service than I expected. Would I go back for the coffee shop? Without hesitation. Delicious drinks, easy parking, quick service, and a vibe that actually makes you want to come back. Sometimes the side character steals the show -- and in this case, it's 100% the matcha.

Because, once again, I was distracted by the quality of the food, and there would be no way for me to do anything else, but to eat! Today, I was in the mood for something more than a salad (much as I wanted to preset what I had the first time coming here, I made a concerted effort to order something else...), thus I chose the Forager Flatbread. It took less time to make this time (roughly about five minutes after ordering), and when it came out, I marveled at how it looked like a work of art! Just beautiful! Each piece of herbed formage blanc flatbread had a nice, crunchy bottom (but not blackened) and a slightly tanginess, with a a good amount of "hen-of-the-wood" mushrooms, sweet roasted garlic and a bed of arugula. My, oh, my! My first bite was a multi-level extravaganza! The crunch of the bread, followed by the aroma of the herbs and arugula, then the saltiness of the cheese, the sweetness of the roasted garlic, the earthiness of the mushrooms - all came together as just a wonderful work of culinary art! This being my first time eating today, my saliva glands just fired off at first bite, causing a bit of intense pain from too much saliva shooting out. But, seriously, this was a very delicious entree, that I enjoyed from start to finish! Bravo for this second joyous experience!

The Cielo Rosa, with mezcal and jalapeño has a lot going on as well. The forager had great mushroom flavor and loved the roasted garlic. I wanted to take a moment to recognize Jason for providing one of the most thoughtful and…read moreaccommodating dining experiences I've ever had. Living with multiple food allergies can make eating out stressful and, at times, discouraging. Many restaurants try their best, but it's rare to encounter someone who goes as far above and beyond as Jason did. From the very beginning, Jason took my allergies seriously. Rather than treating them as a simple modification request, he took the time to understand my specific concerns and personally communicated with the chef to ensure every precaution was taken. What impressed me most was that he didn't just ask once and move on--he followed up multiple times throughout the process, making sure every item I received was prepared as safely as possible. His level of attention and care gave me confidence that my health and safety truly mattered. Jason's kindness was evident in every interaction. He patiently answered questions, verified ingredients, and double-checked preparation methods. Instead of making me feel like my allergies were an inconvenience, he made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. That level of empathy means more than people without food allergies may realize. The extra precautions taken in the kitchen were remarkable. Jason coordinated with the chef to ensure separate cooking methods were used whenever necessary and that steps were taken to minimize any risk of cross-contact. My food was packaged separately and clearly distinguished from the rest of the order, which immediately showed me how much thought had gone into keeping my meal safe. Even more touching were the notes left on the packaging specifically for me. Those small details demonstrated a level of personal care that is incredibly rare in the restaurant industry. Because of my allergies, my meal options were understandably limited. I ordered a plain burger with sautéed green beans, while my friends enjoyed several different burgers from the menu. Although my meal was simple, it was prepared perfectly. The burger was cooked exactly as requested, allowing the quality of the meat to stand on its own, and the green beans were fresh, tender, and flavorful. Most importantly, I was able to enjoy a restaurant meal with confidence instead of anxiety. My friends thoroughly enjoyed their burgers as well, commenting on the flavor, quality, and preparation. It was wonderful that everyone at the table could have a great dining experience, despite having very different dietary needs. What touched me most from this visit isn't just the food--it's the care. Jason's willingness to communicate with the chef, verify ingredients, package items separately, use special preparation methods, and personally check in throughout the process transformed what could have been a stressful experience into an enjoyable one. For those of us with food allergies, being able to order food safely is something we never take for granted. Jason made that possible. Exceptional customer service is often defined as exceeding expectations, and Jason exceeded mine at every step. His professionalism, compassion, attention to detail, and genuine concern for guest safety are truly commendable.
