Being from Colorado I try to hit the in and outs when I can as a treat. My 2x2 was good. I got it animal style.

We just grabbed a couple of shakes, couple of burgers and a couple of fries. The young man that took our order was kind of silly -and I worried about him getting our order right. He did fine, though. Excellent! The food was Great like always. We ordered fry well done animal style. It helps to keep the fries too not get soggy so fast. Yummy as always. Look up the secret menu so you know all your options when you go. Grilled Onions on my cheeseburger way better than raw. Good burger and fries when they're hot and fresh, shakes are pretty good also. First time having this, would definitely eat here again.

I've been to a handful of in and outs and this was by far the worst service and milkshake. We waited 15 minutes in a drive through for a half melted strawberry shake. The kid at the window could not get our simple order right and wanted to charge me 10 bucks for 2 small shakes. Very bizarre. read more

Haven't had animals style in 8 years, when I lived in California. The Waco, TX In n Out did not disappoint. They got the same food and service going on in Texas. If you ever stop by and see Zac working just understand that he is about the hardest working person I've see in fast food. Best fast food burger chain in the area. Their burgers are inexpensive and tasty, with an added bonus of actually looking appetizing. Their cashiers stand out for being more conversational than many of their competitors. Generally pass on the fries - they only taste good if you pile on an entire packet of salt. I don't see what all the hype was about. It was a small, two very thin pieces of meat burger. Fries were ok. When compared to other places like Bubba's 33 or Whataburger, this place definitely doesn't stack up. I was really excited to see an In-N-Out Burger location when I arrived in Waco so I made sure to go by there for lunch one day. I hadn't had an In-N-Out burger in probably 5+ years. This one wasn't as good as I'd remembered. I ate every bite of my burger & fries, but I had just come from the zoo and it was well after my usual lunch time, so I was starving. Thursday I roll into Waco, starving I hit up some old friends and they decide to take me to new local burger joint. It was cold outside but I was immediately warmed when I got into In-N-Out. I'm a first time In-N-Outer, and let me tell you that William Calhoun is a upstanding young gentleman who served us with a grace and poise not found in other burger establishments. His warm greeting brushed away the Fall chill my compadres and I were efficiently and effectively with William's complete service with a smile on his face. He also gave me a dandy hat, and even signed it! The strawberry shake was superb, animal fries amazing, and the Weill Style double cheese burger was Willy Wonderful! Thank you In-N-Out for extending out to the little town of Waco. In-N-Out is located along a street with a ton of other food choices, but when it comes down to it, I'll choose In-N-Out everytime. The first time I had In-N-Out was in California and it was life-changing. After when In-N-Out extended to some Texas locations in Dallas, I was so excited to go and try it. However, when i bit into my double double cheeseburger, animal style, I was extremely disappointed. After trying more areas in the Texas area, I was extremely skeptical that this Waco location would be the same as the burgers I had in California. I was never glad to be so wrong. This In-N-Out tasted exactly like the one in California, and I've never been more excited for the town of Waco. Everything came out so quick and very hot. On top of that, for the quality and quantity of food, it is so extremely cheap! Even my parents were surprised when they bought it for the first time. They thought for how good it was it would be at least $7-$10 for one burger, so it is definitely college student friendly. This in-n-out is absolutely booming with workers. THey have people working the drive-thru outside, people tending the patrons in the eating area, and a mass of people working in the kitchen. It looks so chaotic, but it still manages to produce something so great and good. I highly recommend getting a double double animal style as well as your fries animal style. We don't have this restaurant in South Florida. I went here after reading all the hype and was completely disappointed. The staff was friendly. The fries were awful. My burger patty was sooo thin. When the tomatoes slices are 3 times thicker than your beef patty you should leave. My burger looked nothing like ones on the website. One of my buns was overtoasted and crunchy. So I'm originally from Los Angeles and I definitely believe SoCal in n out is the best. That being said, I've never had an issue with in n out to this day (18+years); we didn't receive our Dr. Pepper via the drive thru and didn't notice until we were a few miles out, but far enough to not want to turn around. I never realized that In-n-outs don't have their own phone number listed and was rather surprised to see a 1-800 number. So I called, not knowing what to expect, but was immediately routed to a wonderful customer service representative, Cynthia, who more than compensated for the small inconvenience. McCrap had better think about quality, may want to retrain the non customer friendly order takers who act like they are doing you a favor by pushing the keyboard, and might want to clear out the panhandlers who hit you for a booze buck when you park or drive thru.
