Great tasting burger and fries at a reasonable price. You don't go for atmosphere. It's a typical burger joint. Great food though.

I'm sorry but I just don't see what all the hype is about. The burger is so average it's not even funny. After seeing animal style fries on social media we tried them and did not like them at all... I will say I LOVE shake shack...I wanted to like In N Out but I just don't. My husband and I don't think it's anything special at all. This was not my first In-n-out experience, as I have been to establishments in Pasadena, Westwood, and Dallas. But for me, the Waco location lived up to the high bar set by even the L.A. originals. Was it as good as in California? I don't know. That's hard to say, as everyone's first In-n-out burger tends to be their favorite. But it's definitely worth a trip if you are in the area, that's for sure. Double-double with well done fries and a chocolate shake is my go-to order. read more

We were helped by Jamal in the drive through and he seemed genuinely concerned to get our order correct and cared about our well being. He smiled throughout reading back our order and held a professional and jolly attitude. That is seriously respectful considering being a busy college fast food restaurant on the sketchy side of interstate 35. I've worked plenty of fast food jobs and I know how easy it is to not care at all about your job so it is nice to see someone care so much. Get Jamal a raise. Food was great. Service not so much. There were two people taking orders. One with the tablet another one if the notepad. The gentleman with the notepad took our order but didn't write it down. He eventually forgot to put in the order of fries. While we are at the window we told them once again but they acted like they didn't know anything. We are from LA and live on the east coast so we were really looking forward to having an excellent experience since we don't get to have it as often as we'd like. read more

Coming from California, I hold In-n-Out to a very high standard. This one met that standard. I was pleased that the interior was on par with the others. It was very nice, clean, and when you walked in you were greeted very nicely. The people working there are always pleasant, and always get your order just how you like it. The ingredients are always fresh and tasty, and don't tell any Californians I said this but I think the buns are fluffier out here in Texas. It's been a lot of years since I've had an In N Out Burger I remembered them as being good. Definitely better than McDonald's but not worth $7. I like Whataburger better for near by. Or Billy Bob's Burgers on University which is a food truck has a better burger and their fry's are phenomenal! With better options that are as good or better with less of a wait and or better prices, I won't be back. read more

First time at this fast food chain. I am a burger fanatic but will not be eating their burgers again. The meat was dried out and ridiculously plain. I had more of each of the individual toppings than the meat which is just said for a burger. When I was trying to order the cashier was incredibly rude and infuriating. She interrupted me multiple times to the point I gave up on even getting my frys animal style. The only thing this place has going for it is a good picture for instagram. Not only is this place affordable, fast, friendly, and famous, it takes care of me in ways I never expected. Recently, at the end of a hectic day we dragged in to get our double-double. Plopped down, and our burgers quickly came. But no fries! We quickly realized, our mistake, and they quickly got us out two orders of fries, so we didn't miss a beat. don't understand how anyone can say there is a better, faster, consistent budget burger in town. read more

really good burgers! smile menu. usually a bit of a wait but they handle the rush pretty good. i really like the quality of the burgers and the toppings. the fries are kinda funky. i read on the website it's because they're freshly brought in and cut in the store which is a positive, but still seem to have a strange texture to them compared to most other fast food fries. i'm a big fan of the burgers though and love going back! read more

When I first walked in I was a little freaked out by all the employees everywhere, it seemed like there was an unnecessary amount of staff there making it a bit chaotic. Our order for 2 people was under $14.00, the food came out fast and tasted delicious after I took the crazy amount of onion off of my burger, I love onion but there was a lot on my burger. It was tasty. Fresh bun and fries. I was surprised by the thin burger. There was no place to sit at lunch, there isn't enough room, I was surprised how small the dining area was. The workers were very nice and helpful. The menu is just burgers, fries, shakes, period. I think I got the bottom of the fry basket, because there were mostly dark greasy pieces in my serving.
