    In-N-Out, Waco
    Bruce K.

It's hard to say "No" to an In-N-Out Burger especially since we were hungry and we're already right here in Waco. Super busy today but even with a line out the door, it moved quickly enough. "Double-double, animal style. Fries well done." I've just about worked out my order. Double meat, double cheese. Animal style means it's topped with extra spread, pickles and grilled onions. I find the regular fries to be underdone and rather light, so it's important to order them well done. Next time, I'll get the fries animal style too which adds cheese and grilled onions and the Thousand Island style sauce. Restaurant was clean, inside and out. If it's busy, parking will be a challenge. [Review 835 of 2024 - 590 in Texas - 21866 overall]

Went here on my way to San Antonio from Dallas as a little pit stop. The guy who took my order in the drive through was awesome! Very energetic and felt like he was just having an opposite time which rubbed off on me. He could definitely be an auctioneer. I didn't get his name but best fast food worker I have ever come across!! The food was great!! I definitely prefer In N Out to other burger fast food places because of how fresh it tastes and the box it comes in is so handy for eating while on the road. Giving it 4 stars not 5 only because it took forevvvvveeeerrr to get my food and there was only a handful of people in front of me. Probably 15 or 20 minutes. Not sure I'll stop on my way to SA again because I don't want to spend that much time getting food. But I would say it's worth it!

We were so excited to see an In-N-Out in Waco, but sadly not as good as the norm. The restaurant was clean and bright as your norm for In-N-Out. The food was out quickly just as their standard good service. It looked fine, but on the singles the buns were over toasted and the plain burger was almost too hard to eat. Very disappointing for a 9 year old's first visit, but she did like her chocolate shake. The double doubles were fine, but had I realized how badly overcooked the single was, it would have gone back. First ever bad In-N-Out experience in 35+ years.

In n Out always hits the spot. Burgers are good. Service was fast and on point. Always a great spot to stop before checking into Indigo

I have heard about In-N-Out Burger for many years. Finally got a chance to try it in Waco. There is a limited menu which makes it very easy to order. Very reasonably priced. This location has a drive-through and plenty of parking. Clean and well organized inside. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food is very good. The sign says quality you can taste. That is all truth. I got a double cheese with their sauce and onions. Really good quality burger with just a little bit of grease. Their fries are hand cut in the prep area. They take a fresh potato, put it through a machine to cut it, and then fry it. I had it plain and animal style. Animal style was much tastier and had more toppings. The regular fries with ketchup were also good. Afterwords, I got a chocolate shake to wash it down. Very thick and tasty. It hit the spot after a long day. Definitely think I will need to go back before I leave in a few days.

While I still struggle in finding a Texas In-N-Out that is on par with California / Nevada, I think this Waco location certainly does the job. This has been a frequent stop (#1) during my jaunts up north and has been a solid meal on the road. The likes are rarely long, even if it's prime time. I assume this is because it's in Waco and all, but being sandwiched in Austin + San Antonio usually means nothing but people. I'm glad it's not an issue. (#2) Service is consistent with getting the food out quickly, though they could be a tinge nicer. My usual double double with animal style is fine. Compared to the average fast food spot, it's pretty good. However as noted, it's not the same animal (#3) as Cali. I am probably in the minority, but I've never cared for the fries. Many people love them but I prefer Shake Shack's crinkle cut personally. The shakes are fire though, which are clutch on a hot day. Prices are solid as always. Minus the Cali produce and service tudes, it's definitely worth a try. ___________ (#1) This or Bucee's (#2) Or the California transplants simply know better. (#3) Mind the pun.

Always good! Items are fresh and made quickly. Staff is friendly, bathroom could use some attention though. Perfect example of do a few menu items, and do them really well.

Great tasting burger and fries at a reasonable price. You don't go for atmosphere. It's a typical burger joint. Great food though.

Small burgers, thin patties, horrible fries. Why go here when there's Whataburger?

In a city where there are a dime a dozen locally owned burgers and fries restaurants, the best burger you can get is from here.

I really don't know what all the hype is about. The burger was bland and the fries were soggy. It was just plain bad.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in and directed to choose a table of our preference. The waitress quickly came over and grabbed our drink order while we looked at the menu. We placed our order and the waitress was very knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. She also informed us they work as a team so we can stop anyone when/if we need something. We started with the "Burning Bush" appetizer (crispy Brussel sprouts w/ lemon garlic aioli). YUM! They had just the right bite to them, and the glaze on them paired with the aioli was delicious! For our entrees we had the Golden Calf Burger w/ sweet potato fries and sriracha aioli and The Weight of Glory Sandwich w/ broccoli slaw. They were both incredibly flavorful and fresh! You can tell they locally source their ingredients and prepare them onsite. The portions are also plentiful, and we left with a takeout box. To round off lunch we tried the special mousse on the specials board (coffee flavored cheesecake mousse). It was so delightful we dug in before I could snap a pic. Just enough coffee flavor paired with chocolate sauce (not hersheys ). The big windows allow for a lot of natural light and lends to a welcoming and warm environment. We will for sure be back and bring others!

I especially enjoyed how the herbed goat cheese mixed with the lemon aioli (aioli is garlic mayo so the garlic is redundant in the menu) and beef patty. That combo was deadly to me, oof Some nice cold coleslaw to compliment the hot burger was a nice mix. I still haven't forgotten how heavy their tomato soup is! So packed with flavor omg. Friendly + quick staff as always and gorgeous wooden seating.

Today on the drive back and as I approach Waco I thought I'm gonna find a great smash burger....and oh boy did I ever. 4.5 miles off the expressway yelp pointed me to Captain Billy Whizz...not going to lie on the way there I was concerned and I got closer more worried if I had in fact chosen correctly! Pulling in nothing special and the area is interesting.... Saw they had a drive thru and went what the hell let's do this! Ordered a double smash burger with cheese fully dressed extra pickle, tater tots sweet tea and spent $20.00...just me. What I received was a perfectly cooked and seasoned juicy burger...HOT. The bun was soft and reminded me of an old style burger from my childhood. This is a big juicy burger and everything you'd want and expect in a burger. Tatter-tots were ok...hard to go wrong with em.... The problem is the burger...it's soooo damn good you forget about the tots. My only regrets is that I didn't take a pic....that's how good the burger is you won't put it down till it's finished. Ask for extra napkins....
