I've been using In Style Transportation for the last 3 / 4 years and will continue to use them in the future. I appreciate the quality of their drivers, cars and communication. I usually use them for airport drop-offs and pickups, especially for international flights. LAX can be pretty chaotic these days and I appreciate how they approach managing it. After being abandoned by my travel agency, I called In Style on my own, and made my reservation is ten minutes. I was gone two weeks, and planned to call to remind them when I arrived back in Southern California. But they contacted me first, which I really appreciated. They arrived on time. We discovered Mike and In Style several years ago when we needed to book a car to LAX from Huntington Beach. I contacted Mike and another company for quotes- from the first response back, Mike showed what sets In Style apart from any other transportation company. I booked his service and we've been using him and his company ever since. (I think since their first year in business) His drivers show up on time, you get texts saying when they've left their location, when they will be arriving, when they arrive at your location... everything. His team has such respect for one another and are just the best- want to chat? They will. Don't want to chat? They won't. They have always been on time for us. For two separate trips last year I had to change our return flights more than once... each time I contacted In Style they were gracious and accommodating. With all the crazy stuff going on at LAX, Mike has kept his customers up to date on changes for drop offs, pick ups, and future plans. It is so helpful! Cars are always immaculate. Water and snacks in abundance. We have given their name to several neighbors and they've all used them and been happy every time. My friends and I were seeing a concert in Long Beach so we used them for a car service! Rick was on time for pickup but on the way back is when their service was so impressive. The point of contact in our group lost his phone so there was no way of getting ahold of the driver. I finally called the number online and Mike was able to find us in the crazy crowd. The service from In Style couldn't be any better. Rick and Mike are true professionals, and really good guys. My wife and I took a last minute trip to Hawaii, and they responded almost immediately to the reservation request, even though it was short notice. They go out of their way to make the experience great, and make it look easy in the process. They were prompt and the communication was perfect. (Btw, I chose In Style over Uber Black, at least partly because Uber wanted me to verify I 'Wasn't a Robot' through what seemed like countless pages of images of crosswalks, buses, roadsigns, etc. I spent less time scheduling with In Style than I did messing around with Uber. A lot of times you only see negative reviews. People only get motivated to review when they feel they've been wronged somehow. I want to make sure I write about the good as well. And that's what you get with InStyle.. Good experience. So I've gotten a few rides from Mike's team over the years. They are punctual & reliable (I mean, what good is a ride in some super nice car if they're late and you miss your flight right?). They show up when they said they would and they'll send you reminders too. And the Suburbans and Lincolns in their fleet are clean and nice. I wish the god-awful airlines I sometimes fly on are half as nice as these rides.. Seriously, arranging for pick to and from the airport from Mike is the least painful and easier part of our trips to plan. Whilst on my most recent trip I'd actually managed to give Mike the wrong airport pickup time on my return trip. And did not realize my stupid mistake until they were already at the airport looking for me. Doh! Far from being difficult Mike & Nancy made the rescheduling easy & painless. Pretty much the opposite of what, like say, United Airlines would do even in the best of times. Just like that my mistake fixed and I'm rescheduled. Everything should be this easy and painless. :-) The more I fly the more I hate flying so not sure when I'm gonna fly again. But when I do I'm definitely going to call Mike for the pickup.
