*This review is for take-out service only. We decided to give this restaurant a try after a recommendation from a friend. We were told our order would be ready in 25 mins on a Friday night after ordering (4) items: Lomo Saltado, Lomo Con Pollo, Tallarines Verdes Con Bistec & Chicarron De Calamar. We arrived a little early and didn't mind waiting. The food was prompt and piping hot when we opened our dinner. The food was a flavor explosion; our food containers were full. We enjoyed our dinner so much that I called the restaurant to thank them for our delicious food. The restaurant told us that this is traditional Peruvian cooking. After driving for years into the City to enjoy this type of cooking (Limon/the Mission and Frescas/24th Street and Irving St.) We're excited we can now drive 10 mins for our food. *We've eaten at Limon, Walnut Creek; overpriced with small portions with a nice bar and social vibe but if you're looking for delicious cooking nearby you won't be disappointed with Inca Grill's take-out and portion size. The pandemic has affected many restaurants with staffing and prices working in the service industry, I understand the challenges many experience which is why we wanted to see if the food quality was not affected, which it clearly isn't. I would recommend giving this restaurant a try. We will try the Paella for our next order which we've heard is delicious. read more

Sooo. I typically will take some time to write a review after I check in but I felt the need to get these thoughts out my head now. So I will start off on a good note. The flavors were DYNAMIC. Amazing. Felt very natural, different, and fresh. Exactly what I was looking for in a Peruvian meal. Soo this is not an.... The transition to stating what I am going to say may sound veryy.... well you'll see. So initially when I came I knew NOTHING on the menu. It was my first time trying so... you get the picture. I asked the waitress "so what do you recommend"? I then proceeded to tell her the food my body/tastebuds acquires for pleasure. She then could not give me any recommendations. I told her look ALL I like is vegetables I do not like carbs/rice etc., She gave me the dish that was man oh man amazing with Spice and the whole bit! But there was barely any veggies. It was all french fries and rice! On top of that I ordered specifically from the Lunch menu which was "the special" and my friend ordered the same thing and got a beautiful gourmet salad and just a little less veggies then me and chicken! He got bang for the buck but they charged me up the ass! I paid 19 for mine and only 12 for his and he got the better package! Mind you we ordered pointing at the same damn thing from there lunch menu with minor alterations. I would have said fuck the alterations and give me what you gave him for the sake of the matter. Another situation I asked for some hot sauce. It also.. Tasted amazing but the initial one she brought to me was on the house I guess then I asked for more and she said it be extra.... Like woman it is hot sauce... Are you serious!... I was like ok whatever... then she came out with hot sauces in the same container but much less in quantity from the initial one she brought out.. hella misleading... This place is there to grab your money not for the people in my perspective and the sad part of the matter is they got very good product... The experience of Love to the consumer is what makes the time worth while. I really do hope that they adhere to this.. Btw I have to say I was mislead to believe this was my first time eating peruvian food bt it was my 2nd Parada was my first. It was my first time to go to this restaurant tonight and last. It is Peru Independence Day and I'm guessing owners would know people will want to come out and have dinner to celebrate and should have had more staff working. It took a little over 40 mins for someone to get our orders...1hr to get water for my family and I until my daughter got up to get it herself. It took another 25 mins to get our drinks which were 2 cans (inka), a beer, and juice. Pisco took another 20 mins to get. Food... now you can imagine! My 3yr old and 10 yr old were starving! (We all were! But kids? At least get their food first!) ... I will say food tasted good, is a nice little location with plenty parking (it's in a plaza). Service was not good.. again, if you are NOT hungry, NOT thirsty and no kids, willing to wait 2 hrs to get your food then it's a nice lil spot to chill and watch TV. I will just go to Limón in Walnut Creek.. or el mono in el Cerrito (I have gone lunch , dinner, weekday and weekend in both places and have had a great service every time! The employees here are THIEVES! I lost my ring in the bathroom and the waitress "PERLA" found it and was suppose to hold on to it for me. After a few days, I go back and they mention they dont have the ring... their response "maybe the waiter took it" EXCUSE ME?? Unprofessional. Use to love this restaurant being Peruvian myself but I will NEVER step foot here again. Super sad but this is NOT acceptable. They even admitted to employees stealing stuff. It's in a run down parking lot between a TJMax and a 99 cent store. Prices are high- especially considering the complete lack of service. The cook said to seat ourselves. I grabbed some menus, since we had never been here before. After 10 minutes, a snarky server said to a younger server- this table is new, but they took their own menus... what's with the snarky attitude??? We were trying to be proactive. There were only about 5 tables in the place. 2 servers- neither of them in any hurry to be helpful, or to give good service. We started with the plantains- hard to mess up plantains- but these were not very satisfying. I had the seafood plater, it was bland, I asked for a hot sauce or seasoning. The server said if you want sauce, you have to pay for it. Sauce was .75 tiny to go container- should have run next door to the .99 store. In another review- a yelper said they paid .15 cents for sauce. The fish was tough and flavorless, mostly calamari, 1 shrimp. My husband had a leathery looking steak- again, no sauce. We had to request the bill Then stood for 10 minutes to pay- finally found enough cash to just pay and leave. They had a sign saying no public restrooms- not exactly friendly or welcoming. The music was loud and hard to talk over. We won't be back, not even for takeaway. We should have gone somewhere else- this was a total disappointment, and a waste of a Sunday afternoon. The food is very good, portions are good size. The ceviche is delicious, I also like Chupe de Camarones (Shrimp chowder) But I giving it 3 starts because it has few things that need improvement. THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING! My boyfriend was going to take a bite of a alfajor when he had spotted not one but two hairs on the alfajores. We were starving excited to try a new Peruvian restaurant. We went back to tell them and then the girl went to show and tell the manager. We asked for a refund but they refused to multiple times. The owner said he was "LOSING MONEY" and that he "RATHER LOSE A COSTUMER THEN TO LOSE HIS MONEY" I am disappointed he also said because of COVID he wouldn't be able to take them back. From the outside I wasn't sure if it was open, but once inside there were plenty of people! Very happy with our food options, we ordered ceviche mixto, papa a la huancaina, arroz con pollo, among others. Ordered the Lamb shank with beans and rice served with a side of marinated red onion. I simply love beans they make my heart smile. These didn't fail me. My heart is happy! I like food that I dont have to add salt pepper and sauce to.These beans in my opinion were on point. Lamb shank braised and marinated to perfection. Dont care for fall off the bone meat. It literally took then more than an hour for 2 fish ceviches and a side order of canchita (which in the end they did not have). I'd think they would throw in some dessert or something in lieu of the canchita but they only gave us 1 alfajor :/ Food is normally okay but we are never coming back to this place. This place been going for few years now. We drive almost 2 hours to go to this place but the last time we were there was horrible. We arrived and sat ourself in front of of the tv to see the superbowl. There was a crowd of women worker with aprons in front of us and their was a man sitting with them. They were so loud that the waiter who was getting an order across the restaurant, yelled at them to quité down because he couldn't hear the customers who were ordering at the time. Then we see the waiter sitting on the other man's lap and he was going up and down with his leg. Oh and forgot we were totally ignored for 15 minutes before we even got a menú. The waitress and waiter were all being super loud sitting with the man who were at the table.The entire time one of the ladies were yelling at the man who was swinging the waiter, then the man and the kitchen ladies got into it and started a tug a war and the others yelling at them to stop and they wouldn't. I ordered a milenesa with fries this plate was $27 plus tax. When I tell you the chicken was literally like chewing rubber, SUPER overcooked and the frozen fries matched the awful quality of the chicken. The fact that they let this plate leave their kitchen is beyond me. WE WERE THE ONLY ONES IN THE RESTAURANT! How does that happen? I'm sorry but the prices here DO NOT match the quality of food they serve they should lower them especially for plates like this!!! Even the Lomo Saltado was cheaper than this plate. IM SO UPSET 10 out of 10 do not recommend. The rest of our table didn't really enjoy their food either but I had it the worst . Came here for dinner on a Sunday night with family. The interior is like a cheap mexican or pizza restaurant, with paper sheets covering each table. We ended up ordering several appetizers and entrees, and opted to share them family style. All of the dishes we ordered were delicious. My favorites were the anticuchos (thin, but somehow still tender. Cooked perfectly!) and arroz chaufa de carne. I would definitely come back here to try more of their menu items. I love Peruvian food and was really sad when I found out Chola's in Concord closed down. I decided to try Incas since it was the only Peruvian restaurant in the area. The things I tried were good, but did not match up to Chola's and is a bit more pricey. I tried: Ceviche mixto Beef Empada Bistek a lo pobre Alfajores The restaurant is really nice and big. This place has extremely rude customer service. The food is raw not cooked all the way. And the cooks and owner don't care. They do not believe the customer is ever right. They worry about their payment and not leaving the customer satisfactory with the visit or care for their lack of service. Family ate at this location and we all got sick from the food poisoning. I don't even know where to start. Being understaffed is an excuse. There were 3 servers and about 15 tables in total. Not an excuse for the terrible experience we got. First of all, they took 20 minutes to serve my beer. I had to ask twice if my beer was coming out. The lamb in my entree "Seco" was OLD lamb. The lamb was dry and tasted OLD. I know how old meat tastes like. We all do. This is a no brainer. I brought it to the waitresses attention and she said it wasn't cooked for long enough. Maybe that might have been the case but the lamb was still old. They brought everyone's entree at the same time except the children's food. We had a toddler and a 6 year old boy becoming hangry waiting for their food. We had to ask where their food was. As a customer, you should never have to ask where your food is. That's the waiters job to make sure all food was made and ran to their table. Our kids waited about 20 minutes for their food. At one point I asked if they can stop their order so we can buy them McDonald's but they insisted it was "coming out". One of the children's food came out but the other didn't. It was another 10 minute wait. I understand that the restaurant was busy due to the Peruvian soccer game but as a FORMER server, there is NO excuse for 3 servers to be so behind in their 15 shared tables. Before I could grab the tip that I planned for the server, they rudely demanded one. "What are you not going to tip?" Food was good but the attitude was not appreciated or appropriate. It's unfortunate that their staff feels the need to advocate for better pay by haggling customers. I still left a good tip as originally planned, but I am not planning on returning since this happened with another server from this establishment in the past..
