The lomo saltado I ordered from this place was not good at all. Rice was tasteless and so was the meat. The Fries had way too much salt. I had to call the server quite a few times for cups, then for straws, then again for ice. If there were 4 of us and we asked for cups, ice and straws, the bring enough for all of us at the table not just one. It is common sense. Also let me suggest to give the outside a good fresh painting with some more appealing colors. It wont hurt. read more

Two filipino new yorkers on vacation in key west. After a couple of days on our vacation week, me and my wife were craving for some rice. You know filipinos can't live without rice, coz we where so tired of sandwiches and pasta. Luckily we found this spot on yelp. It's kind a far away from duval st. And it took us about 30 mins walk from mallory park to this restaurant. And the walk was worth it, the food is amazing and very delicious. We had the paella and the fried fish. It wasn't terrible but I was disappointed. I ordered the salad that was supposed to have apples and tangerines. It had neither. The colossal shrimp (I was warned they were out if that size) wound up being medium not even large. You could do worse but I think you could also do better. I've been trying to go here since the first day I moved to Key West, it's such a small, offthebeatenpath place that I just always forget it's even there. We were blown away by how good it was. Don't pretend like the B- you got in Spanish II in high school is gonna help you read the menu. Luckily it's got English in the descriptions. It was quiet. We were the only ones there (thanks to our state and city officials who needlessly closed the entire island down for three months). Standard caveat - everything is more expensive in the Keys, so don't be disappointed when you don't find bargains. Not a lot of Peruvian restaurants where we live, so we were excited to find one while on vacation Incas is well off the beaten path of the tourist areas, but still convenient to many hotels and has easy parking right out front. We ordered the Lomo Saltado de carne and seafood paella - both were very good. Contrary to one negative review, the sangria was fine - sweet, but not unpleasant - I liked it. The waitress was very friendly, and the ambiance was nice - had the feel of a local neighborhood type of place. Sadly, the place was empty on a Monday night. Don't know what the service would be like if it was busier, but I would like to go back and find out. Give this place a try!! read more

We had a late dinner and grub hub screwed up the order, but they were lovely and accommodating and whipped up a delicious dinner at 9 pm. The ceviche was so flavorful. My wife and I made our annual trek to Key West...based on good Yelp reviews, we decided to try out Incas, even though it was pretty far from Where we were staying near Duval. It was a good decision! We ordered and split two ceviche dishes: one was white fish in a very limey ceviche sauce with onions and corn. The second was more fish with a cream sauce and white rice. Both were excellent (numbers 8 and 18 on their menu). We then split a flan and lucuma ice cream. Lucuma is a Peruvian fruit we had heard about but never tasted. It was excellent, but hard to describe as it tastes like nothing else. The service was excellent and the server was very friendly. We will be back next year. read more

Well off the beaten path, looks like a place for the locals (I guess including our Cuban waitress) Not fancy interior but the food was excellent, nice portions and extremely reasonable prices. The atmosphere is casual. The liquor selection is limited (but the sangria is absolutely delicious and homemade). Lastly, this appears to be a family owned business. Loved this place much that we had to visit it twice for lunch and dinner (on separate days). I grew up eating Peruvian food (from a family friend); I can attest that their dishes are right on the money when it comes to flavor, portion and authenticity. Seafood lovers will enjoy the Pescado Sudado which features clams, mussels, white fish, shrimp and octopus served with onions, tomato, and cilantro over a bed of rice. My fiancé had the Lomo Saltado de Pollo which included sautéed chicken with onions, tomato, steak fries, and jasmine rice. While this combo may sound "gastronomically redundant", the fries and rice are wonderfully marinated by the juicy chicken; you end up with a melange of flavor. To wash all of this down, I highly recommend the purple corn cider or the maracuya juice. If you prefer sweets, you won't be disappointed by the flan, lucuma ice cream, or the Peruvian cookies. Incas has great tastes and some new takes on familiar dishes. The South American influence is through the entire menu and glad I found a place with FLAVORS! It was delicious and full of flavor. I walked to this cute Peruvian restaurant just a few blocks from my guesthouse on Fleming St. It's relatively new, open only a few months, and the proprietor is very earnest in serving food she's proud of. A dish of Choclo, or warm Peruvian giant corn niblets, arrived at the table to start things off. If ordered as an appetizer, it comes with Huancaina cream sauce. The corn niblets are like large nuts and are a fun touch and something new to me. For dinner, I ordered the Lomo Saltado de Pollo, sautéed chicken with onion, tomatoes, cilantro and French fries, served with rice. It seemed odd to have fries with rice, but it worked and the fries were delicious, thick meaty steak fries with just enough firmness and salt. The chicken was a little dry, but moistness was provided by the tomatoes and onions. The menu has almost two dozen entrees ranging from fish and seafood to chicken and beef platters. It looks like a fun menu to explore and surrounding tables raved about their food. Looking back, I wish I had tried Alfajores, Peruvian cookies with caramel. There were only a handful of customers there, but I visited during one of the slowest weeks of the year. Let's hope Incas gets discovered by more people and thrives during busier times. read more

Sometimes life saves the best for last! With close to 5 hours left to check into our flight at the airport, we were deciding on a place to have our last lunch whilst on vacation at Keywest Florida. We were fortunate enough to dine at some really great places during this trip and our list of best places to eat was already decided upon the previous evening. We had passed by 'Incas' on more than just a couple of occasions, tucked away on a quiet corner on white street, it may be missed for some one who prefers being on the main streets but not eating at this place at least once before you leave Keywest behind would be unfortunate. The first thing that strikes you when you walk through the doors is the cleanliness of the restaurant, the decor is pretty, a large portrait of 'Macha Pichu' reminds every customer about their dream to one day visit Peru. Jessica, the nicest human being on the island greets you with an enthusiastic Olà and allows you to choose whichever seat you want in the house. And then she patiently explains to you the ingredients and specialty of every dish on the menu and then you sit back and wait for the tastiest Peruvian food in Florida to be laid out in front of you. We ordered the Ceviche Mixto and the Lomo Saltado De Pollo with Papa a La Huancaina as a starter. The sauces were succulent, the chicken flavorful and the onions simply delicious. Not to mention, generous portions, excellent service and reasonable pricing. We walked out of the restaurant with the biggest smiles on our faces. A fantastic find! read more

Trying to find a place close to our hotel, within walking distance. This looked like a "hole in the wall" on the outside but the reviews were good. Glad we tried it! The waitress tried to convince me to try "causa" which is not the menu and is only made occasionally. She described it as cold mashed potatoes layered with chicken salad and with mayo and special sauce on top. I was not convinced so I went for my favorite Peruvian dish, lomo saltado. We received the free appetizer for checking in but they were out of the "papas a la Huancaina". She gave us the "causa" instead. OMG! I am so sorry I didn't follow her suggestion. It was delicious! Call ahead to ask when they'll be serving it. It is worth the trip. The lomo saltado was very good and the portions are generous.
