I walked to this cute Peruvian restaurant just a few blocks from my guesthouse on Fleming St. It's relatively new, open only a few months, and the proprietor is very earnest in serving food she's proud of. A dish of Choclo, or warm Peruvian giant corn niblets, arrived at the table to start things off. If ordered as an appetizer, it comes with Huancaina cream sauce. The corn niblets are like large nuts and are a fun touch and something new to me. For dinner, I ordered the Lomo Saltado de Pollo, sautéed chicken with onion, tomatoes, cilantro and French fries, served with rice. It seemed odd to have fries with rice, but it worked and the fries were delicious, thick meaty steak fries with just enough firmness and salt. The chicken was a little dry, but moistness was provided by the tomatoes and onions. The menu has almost two dozen entrees ranging from fish and seafood to chicken and beef platters. It looks like a fun menu to explore and surrounding tables raved about their food. Looking back, I wish I had tried Alfajores, Peruvian cookies with caramel. There were only a handful of customers there, but I visited during one of the slowest weeks of the year. Let's hope Incas gets discovered by more people and thrives during busier times. read more

We were in the mood for ceviche and this place just happened to be across the street from our B&B. This place was full of Hispanic locals who seemed to know one another...definitely a local joint that working people go. The ceviche was plentiful of large shrimps, tostones were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The seafood fried rice had plenty of large chunks of shrimp, octopus and scallops. We are everything! But special shoutout to the shrimp ceviche! Only negative was the the sangria was horrible...N couldn't even take a second sip. Check them out! read more

Ceviche: Perfect 5/5. My experiences with ceviches are from Ecuador and Peru and this ceviche is just as good. I had the Classico (fish only) but they also have ceviches with octopus (Mixto) and one with shrimp only. There is a lot on the plate and I was very full afterwards. I almost ordered an appetizer but I'm glad I didn't. (But if you're a big eater you may feel differently.) The ceviche contains two slices of boiled sweet potato, corn (choclo?), crunchy corn kernels, fish topped with red onion slices all atop a lettuce leaf. I ate all of it, including the juice. Note: you can get various levels of heat/spice in your ceviche. I got medium spicy and it had a lick of heat which was perfect for me. If you are spice intolerant then do not get full on spicy dammit. Staff: We were waited on by a woman named Jesica who was the entire wait staff for the evening. Her personality is amazing and it made me think that some people are just born happy. Or, maybe I caught her on a good day. Who knows? At any rate, she was very informative and gave us great context about the food. She helped me decide between getting Classico and Mixto (if you like chewy then you'll be ok with Mixto but if you want a smoother texture then go with Classico). She provided other information and was just generally very likeable. 5 stars to her. Price: Around $49 for two ceviches, one beer and two glasses of wine. Definitely one of the least expensive meals we've had on the island. Environment: Reminds me of the places I would eat at in Peru. A television is in the corner of the bar playing Peruvian music videos. It feels authentic Peruvian and it's clean and neat. Don't go in expecting some trendy American decor. Tried to come eat here with my family but the one employee was outside on his cell phone and as we were walking in and out looking for someone to ask if we seat ourselves he looked our way multiple times and ignored us. When he finally came in he was still on the phone and walked right passed us and continued on the phone call as if we weren't even there. Needless to say we left so we can't speak to wether the food is worth the horrendous service. read more

I went to Incas restaurant in Milford for the first time. I order a ceviche mixto and it was as I expected delicious. My friend order arroz con Mariscos and it was amazing. The drinks were also really good we order a pisco sour and a mojito. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking to try Peruvian food. Amazing food, amazing flavors, in a cute family run place. We had the giant corn as an app, mixed seafood ceviche, and mixed seafood tacus. The corn was in a light sauce with the perfect blend of cream and bite. The ceviche was the best I've ever had, cool and citrusy. There are many nice dining spots in Key West. But what you find on one menu you may find on many others. Incas Restaurant, with its Peruvian cuisine is a refreshing departure from anything else you will find while in Key West. The shrimp ceviche is by far the best ceviche I have ever had. It is a slightly different presentation than you will find on any traditional Mexican restaurant menu. Rather then being soaked in lime it is served on a plate with whole shrimp. This was actually one of my favorite light meals that I had during my five week stay. The fried Yucca is sublime and will rival any french fry you have ever had. Best of all if you have traveled in Latin America you will feel as though you are back in one of those small towns that you fell in love with. The interior is plain, no-frills but there's something about it that feels so reminiscent of the restaurants you find while traveling outside of the more touristic areas south of the border. In this restaurant, you will leave behind the jarring noise and clamor of Duval St. and enjoy a bit of true Peruvian hospitality. read more

Just arrived back to Key West and I came here with my sons for some dinner. The Good - Very nice waiter - I almost think he could be the owner. We were seated promptly with menus. He was doing everything solo except cooking the food. My boys ordered the chicken nuggets and I ordered a fried fish I also got ceviche classico as a app. The boys loved it. Lots of onions but I not feeling the after taste, so it was well balanced with lime juice. Also, The place filled up by the time we left at 9pm always a good sign of a great place. The not so Good - My fish looked just like my kid's dish (chicken nuggets). I thought I was getting a whole fried fish, not fried fish nuggets. Both were tasty and good, but I was looking for something a little more wow! And the ugly - nothing to mention on this list. Don't go here if you're alone. They don't want you! I just went in at 4 pm, there were 2 tables full and many empty tables. The not nice lady wanted me to sit at the bar on a barstool, but I asked for a table. She sat me at a dirty table and threw a menu at me. Inca is a small family operated Peruvian restaurant. We were in Key West for a week and someone suggested this smaller, off the beaten path quaint restaurant. Incas is a little bit off the beaten path, but boy it's a trip worth taking. Arguably one of the better sangrias at the beach and a wonderfully authentic menu. Our server was absolutely charismatic and always had a smile. For my meal, I chose the Tacu-Tacu, beef. First things first this is not tacos! It was a perfect assortment of fragrant steak, hearty stewed vegetables, a seriously hearty broth, and served atop of fried rice cake. It really was exceptional. I also highly recommend their yuca a la Huancaina, which is simply superb. Think of airy French fries with a lovely cheese sauce and you've got it. This was my first time havin peruvian food and it was such an experience. We saw this place while driving to the beach and decided we'll come back for dinner when we're hungry. Around 7pm or so we got kicked out the park(not literally) and got hungry so this was a perfect time to revisit. This place is small, nothing spectacular to look at but it has a bar, clean bathroom, few tables and cute peruvian decor. The menu features entrees that cost around $15 at most. We were really craving seafood so we all got seafood dishes. We shared three platters of the spaghetti with seafood and peruvian sauce, the fried seafood platter with peruvian tartar sauce and onions on top, and the peruvian fried rice with seafood. All of them were delicious although the spaghetti I could do without it was bland without the runny flavorful sauce at the very bottom. The consistentcy of the sauce wasn't convenient for the noodles because I couldn't coat it in the decadent flavor. Either way it was worth a try. They start you off with peruvian corn straight from Cuzco. They toast it and drizzle it with oil and salt. Perfect with some beer and it was addictive I couldn't stop popping them in my mouth. They are a bit drying so you can wash it down with booze, perfect combo. They also pair your food with some lovely peruvian sauce with rocoto peppers it's got a kick to it but the flavor is the bomb.com. Took each dish to a whole new level. Our waitress went above and beyond, he quicky tended to us with a lot of patience and care. I really enjoyed dinner here it was perfect ending to our night in Florida!! read more

New restaurant (three weeks ago) opened by Christopher and his wife. Really good tasting food and the interior of the place has been completely redone nicely. The outside is a little deceiving since it was originally a cuban restaurant and the new signage wasn't up (as of 5/14/2012). I had the chicken fried rice dinner and a boiled potatoes with a form of cheese on top. Both were awesome! They feature drinks and food from Peru and the portions are plentiful. This was a great find, and within walking distance of where we are staying on White Street. The Ceviche Mixto was very good. Sangria is fantastic. The paella was just okay. The service was great. I am not sure if there is usually a second waitress, but when we dined there was only one. She had all of the tables. There are about ten tables in the whole place and they were all full. Always on the outlook for delicious Peruvian food, we were more than pleasantly surprised to find Incas in Key West! Our kids sealed our decision to check out this place as one of their favorite meals is Lomo Saltado, a traditional Peruvian dish. We were quickly seated as this restaurant is not close to the more popular Duval Street. But, oh so worth it!! Wow!! What can I say... Thanks to Yelp, we found this little mom & pop restaurant during my most recent business trip down to the Keys. It is great when a restaurant takes such pride in it's food. I felt more like I was dinning with friends than a customer. We were provided with extra dishes so we could taste a bit of everything. Portions are generous which is good because the food is so delicious. The service was given with a broad smile and a genuine desire to share their love of Peruvian food. My wife and I rely on Yelp quite often when traveling. Did a search and found this place which was somewhat off the beaten Thank you for responding. We started with a glass of red sangria. My wife and I generally prefer white sangria. I didn't see what kind of container the sangria was poured from so I couldn't tell you if it was homemade or not. I van tell you that it had canned fruit cocktail on the bottom. Nonetheless, it was decent Each table is provided with popped corn kernels with a hot dipping sauce which were interesting and tasty. My wife and I ordered tacu-tacu limo saltado except hers was beef and mine was a mixture of seafood. Both were very tasty. However, the beef was a little over done as were some of the larger seafood pieces like the octopus. That being said I would definitely return here next time I'm in town! read more

The look of it is quite deceiving, nothing special, some tables and chairs arranged in a small sitting area of the restaurant. But the food is TO DIE FOR. The Tacu-tacu con lomo saltado de Carne is a must try. It's basically potatoes (in this case French fries) covered in sautéed onions and perfectly cooked beef, drenched in a brothy sauce. Sounds simple enough but it'll start a party in your mouth. Feeling fishy? The chicharron de pescado will amaze you. Basically deep fried fish bites over a bed of tostones, served with a red onion, cilantro lime relish sauce and Incas own Peruvian tartar. Wash it all down with one of their homemade Sangrias and bask in the afterglow of a meal that'll rock your socks. read more

This was some amazing food. Probably the best food to eat in Key West! The Keys are known for their seafood, and clearly one of the best seafood dishes to eat is ceviche. This place is off the beat track, away from the tourists, and survives on the locals who keep coming back time and time again. This place was soooooo accommodating. I navigated a group of over 12 friends and family members to this restaurant at almost 8pm on a Thursday night as a last minute decision for everyone to go to dinner together. I did not realize that this was such a small restaurant (or that there would be only one waitress), but WOW... she killed it. She immediately organized the group and sequenced our orders.
