This may become my new Indian spot. The service was quick and servers were nice. The ambiance is upscale-ish, very nice dinner for birthday vibe with quiet music. It seems they may have a buffet during the day. I really enjoyed the food. The lemon pepper garlic chicken was good but not intense on seasoning. It was better with rice. I ordered the lamb Rogan Josh (mild?) it was kinda spicy but still delicious. My partner got Tikka Masala also well done. The nan was a little thin but still good. Will definitely be back read more

Oh my goodness, so much food! The offer The lunch buffet that goes until 3 PM. Stop by for a family dinner, and though you could dress casually, the atmosphere and the decor lead you to believe you were walking into a black-tie affair. The food was delicious. The service was phenomenal. I would only say that three people at our party of six ordered appetizers as meals, and they had their meal before anybody else got their food because they were served as appetizers. We did not specify the appetizers that were ordered as a meal. We're going to be consumed as the main course for that person. Unfortunately, I was unable to make it back to try the lunch buffet, but I was informed by the restaurant that the buffet has more options than their weekday buffet. Other reviews have mentioned the beauty of the restaurant I would agree. A doorman of sorts, opened the door and welcomed us to the restaurant. Upon entering we saw some beautiful desserts and a fully stocked bar. The hostess took us to a table outside of the service area. We refused it and put us at a four top booth. Seems most seating is for 6-8 very few 2 or 4 tables. The table we got was very loud in the middle of a service area. People dropping dishes a table in front of us used for water bottles, glassware, etc. next to us a container for dirty dishes At this point I say to my husband, "might as well be cooking at home with all of this mess around us". We were seated for 15-20 minutes before anyone waited on us. We asked for a beer, another 10 minutes We ordered dinner, they brought a cracker kind of thing with sauce. It was good I ordered #104 Punjab Tari Marj. It was really good, although I am not certain that is what I got. The menu says whole piece chicken on bone. I had pieces of chicken. I am wondering what I would order next time, since the dish I got was so tasty. My husband ordered Lamb Vindaloo. It was very spicy and hot. He said he would get it again. Dishes were removed while I was still eating. Wait for the check. Since we didn't know who our server was we waited. I saw a gentleman walking through the restaurant in a golf shirt several times. He appeared to be management and I ask a staff member to ask him to join us. I am writing the review at the restaurant while we await service. He came right away. Very lovely and respectful. I showed him the "stuff" around us and asked if he would enjoy dinner in all that mess. The owner said he and has staff were talking about that the day before. I explained that it was such a lovely restaurant, this must have been a design flaw. He said they were thinking about adding a wall so they could sit up a service area. I also pointed out all the noise created within our seating area. We could hardly talk. He asked if there was anything else and we asked for our check. The owner checked us out. Next to us a gentleman had been eating something that looked good. Fried something. I asked what it was because it look so good. This gentleman said it would have been if he could enjoy it over all the noise and staff confusion. He was angry. Would we go back? Let's start by saying this place is beautiful and opulent! No trace of the former Bob Evans. We came on a Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and it was busy. Not too terrible of a wait considering several large parties. We tried the cheese naan and hummus and it was delicious! I had the butter chicken which was full of fresh herbs. My husband the tikka masala. My husband said the quality and tenderness of the chicken is superior. They opened not long ago and can tell they are still working on the flow. Lots of servers bustling around that made it a bit chaotic. We will definitely be back! read more

Food is good, however service is not. We sat there for several minutes wondering if someone was going to come. We wanted to do the buffet but also order off the menu for our little one. Once we got a staff member to give cups, and take our order there was an extremely long wait for our little one's food. Everyone was done with their meal and we just asked for a box. read more

If you didn't know that this used to be a Bob Evans, you woul dnever guess it now. Replaced by Indian splendor. This place looks as if you entered a palace of sorts, bright and sparkling with a million details to look at and take in. Almost overwhelming. Certainly Instagram-worthy But the best part is the food. High quality, fresh made and absolutely delicious. The menu is extensive and includes the traditional offerings as well as quite a few dishes not found elsewhere in town. I am not that adventurous and opted for Butter Chicken. I swear that is the best Butter Chicken I ever had. The sauce is so delicious I could bathe in it or at least drink it. Besides great dishes, they also offer spectacular desserts as well as a full bar. You can get a pretty good idea by trying out their lunch buffet, a bit pricey but oh so worth it. So why am I not giving 5 stars... well my friend, the service is a bit off at times. We tried the lunch buffet here, which runs everyday 12:00-3:00. The service was friendly and prompt. It's a self service buffet, but there were servers around to get you what you might need. The buffet is a little pricey, but it's worth it. The food was fresh and flavorful. Nothing looked or tasted old. The place is clean, nice decorated, and the buffet is a little fancy. Will definitely look to this place when I want some Indian food! read more

I now know why the owners named this place Incredible India. No reason to be modest. The menu is expansion, a good mix a vegetarian, vegan and meat dishes. We started out with an interactive appetizer. The Pani Puri is a light dough ball and includes a liquid to pour into the top and enjoy. I advise you to experiment with new foods like Goat Curry. Such a flavor punch with a sudden taste in each bite. This place has a lot of traditional and unique fusion of India / Chinese, South Indian, as well as Afghan dishes. Went for the lunch buffet during the week, they had over 10 dishes on the buffet.. sadly though not being a vegetarian there were only three I could eat.. which were then reduced to two since I do not like the taste of goat .. A friend from work mentioned they went to an Indian restaurant that had a buffet. Since I am relatively new to eating Indian food I thought that would be a great start for hubs and I. I just happened to be driving on 96th street and saw that Incredible India had a buffet. I actually called to see how much it was and if they had it just during the week or on the weekends too. It's available every day and on the weekends it's 19.99 per person. Incredible India is located in the old Bob Evans building so it has a normal restaurant parking lot. It's fancy inside. You would never think it used to be a Bob Evans. All of the photos I took were of the dishes that I went back to take photos of, so if we ever got carry out, I would know what to get. It was all really good, even the dishes that weren't for me, were decent. I don't have much to compare to since we've only been to a few Indian restaurants and most of them have been out of state, but this was wonderful. Hubs agreed. It was nice being able to try so many new entrees and discover that I can order at least five or six dishes without hesitation now. My favorite dish was the Pav Bhaji. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a tasty Indian meal. read more

Rasmalai cake. So very good. It was hard to choose a dessert from their impressive cake display, so I asked for a recommendation. The employee pointed to the Rasmalai cake and although it looked a bit too decadent for my taste, I could see that they only had a couple slices left, so it must be popular. Decided to try something new and wow, it paid off. The cardamom milk the cake is soaked in was the star in this. Here I am, a person that doesn't have that big of a sweet tooth, yet I started this review singing about a dessert. Golly it was good. The Mysore Masala Dosa was also great. It's typically my go-to, and this one did not disappoint. Every component was well seasoned. I like that the sambar was not too thin and had a good consistency to pair with the dosa. The food was so good and the service was top notch considering the restaurant was short-staff. simiran was our server and she was really sweett. We ordered channa Bhatura very good, Paneer makhani, very good great taste loved the sauce of it. We also ordered garlic naan very good and butter chicken very good and vegetale pakoras and fish pakoras. They were both great. Interior decor looks amazing. The food here is on the spicy side, so if you don't like it hot, make sure you tell the server mild spice. I had the chicken curry for the main dish, it was good and flavorful but definitely spicy. We had naan as a appetizer and it was delicious. Upscale Indian dining! This restaurant is probably the fanciest Indian restaurant in Indy, the decor feels like you're in a palace and the service from the waiters matches that. I also loved the presentation of the food. I was a little disappointed with the actual food though. We ordered the chili chicken which was way too salty and maybe over cooked because the chicken was almost hard. We also ordered seekh kabobs and Hakka noodles which were decent. Was excited to try the mango cake and it was good but didn't really taste much like mango. They have tons of items on their menu so it's a little overwhelming, but I'd like to come back and try some other items and next time ask for recommendations! read more

Second time here this month. Really enjoy this restaurant. Great food and outstanding service. A couple of the wait staff have almost become like family. Food is okay. Tandoor chicken and chicken biryani are great! Butter chicken was just okay with very little chicken and a very VERY mild gravy. Rice was underdone in one dish, which was a disappointment. No empty plates were taken away after the first trip to the buffet and no plates were taken until we were completely finished with our meal. Also, water comes out of a plastic bottle from Sam's Club (members Mark) that's left on your table and you pour into a plastic cup. For $18 per person for a buffet that is mostly veg and rice, I'm kind of expecting to either be asked what I want to drink (we weren't) and expect any drink to be out of an actual glass. I noticed no ice anywhere, and coupled with the bottled water, started wondering if they have a water issue. read more

We went for the lunch buffet . My husband enjoys Indian food more than I do . That said it was a lovely experience. The place is upscale and sparkling clean. We were greeted immediately and seated in a very nice booth . The buffet was explained to us so I can't fault the service as it was pleasant and professional. Bottled water is on the table and the table is set nicely . The buffet is of course limited but more than adequate and I enjoyed it . The buffet is well labeled and also tells you what is vegan and what contains meat. That's handy . Personally I really liked the vegetarian dishes . It was a very relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. Next time I go I I will order from the menu there is a lot more to explore. We have a friend who immigrated from India we are planning to take him I'll let you know what he thinks . read more

Great Indian food- very fresh. Friendly staff. Looks really nice and upscale inside - you would never have guessed it used to be a Bob Evans! My only complaint is that they clean the tables with really strong smelling chemicals so as we were eating, once they cleaned the table next to us, all I could smell/taste was the cleaning agent they used. But at least they do a really good job of cleaning the place. read more
