They have a few good items on the buffet, but that's all. The buffet is pretty small compared to other buffets. I like the kofta, palak, and the paneer curry. I went for dinner and ordered the lamb kebab off the menu (the buffet is only during lunch). The kebab was really good but it wasn't worth the price. read more

My favorite restaurant. The food amazing and it's a really nice atmosphere. It's like having a slice of India right here in Tulsa.

The food is freshly prepared, but it is no where near authentic Indian food. We went there after reading yelp reviews and were really disappointed. It is geared towards serving non-Indian customers. So if you are looking for bland Indian food which has no spices whatsoever, then yes you will enjoy it. For people who like authentic Indian food, I would not recommend it at all. read more

The meal was Delivered. Delivery time was just about 1h30m from ordering through Yelp/Eat24. Delivery person was good. Delivery packaging: 4/10. Everything came in styrofoam packaging, which in turn had been saran wrapped. No problems there. Not the ideal way of transporting hot food off the grill, but then - after double digit minutes between coming out of the kitchen and being delivered it was anything but warm anyway. Although, I rather believe after consuming the meal that the meal last saw someone cook it sometime quite a bit earlier this week. Salad: 3.5/10. Mediocre at best. The salad("Kachumbar Salad", eg Cucumber Salad) was bland and uninteresting to the point of cardboard being preferable. In fact, I am fairly certain that the styrofoam that it came in would have been quite the step up. Appetizer: 3/10. Sub-par. The Seekh Kabab(Lamb Kebab) appetizer was blander than the salad. And did not taste like it had come 'fresh from the Tandoori oven' in the least. Main Course: 3/10. The Rogan Josh (Persian/Kashmiri greasy lamb in spices and curry) was quite watery, not consistent, uninteresting, and unappetizing. About as tasty as the salad. In fact, it all tasted pretty much the same. Bland, watery, and like it was cooked last week. Bread: 3/10. Tandoori Roti. Meh. Again, probably cooked a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away. Stale, and didn't taste like it ever had had any heart put into it at all. On the whole, the plastic delivery packaging was the best part, closely followed by the jasmine rice, which was by far the most flavorful aspect of the meal, if albeit cold. read more

Too lazy to drive from midtown, so we ordered in via GrubHub. Very pleasantly surprised. Great sauces, great garlic naan, great meats (they even have beef!). It was Easter Sunday and we were worn out from traveling and hungry. If it can be this good via delivery, we'll definitely venture south to try this delicious grub "in person". Good eats. read more

I am absolutely heady with the pleasantness of this exhilarating dining experience. My first time at India Palace and I ordered the Lamb Korma and naan. Had a lovely Taj Mahal lager to start with. The jasmine rice was perfect! Not too dry, not too moist and very aromatic. The lamb melted in my mouth and had no bones whatsoever. The sauce was amazing- savory and delicious at the beginning and spicy at the end. I asked for medium-to-hot spiciness and they did not disappoint. The staff were impeccable, polite and twice I believe, the manager/owner checked on me and made sure I had everything I needed. I ordered a dinner to go, and had the gulab jamans for dessert. If I could eat lunch at India Palace every day, I would. There's always a great selection of fantastic Indian dishes, and Guldeep, the owner, takes obvious pride in staffing his restaurant with eager-to-please servers. Don't miss the fantastic Chicken Tikka Masala. The only drawback is that it's all too easy to eat to the point of paralysis, so don't forget to save a little room for dessert. read more

We found India Palace while visiting a friend and looking for someplace to eat on New Year's Day. Between us we tried the Vegetable Pakora's, Lamb Punjabi, Saag Gosht, and a Paneer dish I don't see online and can't seem to quite remember the name of. The staff were courteous, kind, efficient, and 1000% accommodating of my wife's dairy allergy, to the point that they recommended a bread for her, and prepared Saag without dairy for her. I don't know how often we'll be in Tulsa, but India Palace is on the definitely must visit list for when we are! read more

An authentic experience. My Omani friend took our group here because it is one of his favorite Indian restaurants in Tulsa and a great deal with their buffet option for less than $12. I'm always down for a cheap buffet, and I wasn't disappointed. I got to try numerous Indian dishes without having to commit to a full plate of something new that I may not like. Luckily, I ended up being at least satisfied by everything. I'm giving the food itself three stars because some of the food did seem to be watered down and didn't have the strong flavors one expects from Indian food, however that is somewhat expected with any buffet. However the service deserves five stars for friendly demeanor and for being so very quick. Maybe ordering from the menu is better, but I left full and happy so I'm sure I will be back. read more

First off, to compare India Palace to DesiWok (negatively might I add) is insulting to India Palace and Indian food itself. I've lived in places all over the world prevalent with authentic (a word people really love to throw around) Indian restaurants, and when I come back to Oklahoma, India Palace is always on the top of my list to eat at. The food is very good and authentic. More so, the service is outstanding. Every time my family comes to India Palace, the Owner always greets us and talks to us. The waiters are all kind and routinely make sure everything is satisfactory and that drinks are full. Whenever I come home from college, my family always eats here. The food was okay. But I wouldn't return because they rushed me out of there even though there was still 30 minutes of lunch buffet left! I was here for a total of 20 minutes by the time it was 2 pm and they handed me the check. They kept trying to take away my flatware. And when they finally did (even though I told them I wasn't done eating), they immediately handed me my check! I felt very rushed to pay and leave! I didnt appreciate it at all. This place is among THE BEST!! My wife and I love Indian cuisine and have tried many restaurants in many cities . . . . London, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix/Scottsdale, etc. and have found this restaurant far, far better than almost any we have found anywhere. In Tulsa, Oklahoma, no less. Who would have thought? The food is consistently excellent, reasonably priced, service always first rate, and with a welcoming neighborhood ambiance. I've never been here, but have ordered delivery twice. Both times the food was really good!! Very fresh and flavorful. I love the saag paneer, onion naan, samosas, tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala. Yum!! Delivery person is always very nice and doesn't take too long.
