This is a takeout only review, but I have gotten takeout from here approximately weekly over the last several months so I feel the 5 star review can be backed up!! Indian food has been my one consistent pregnancy craving, and with Gorkha Palace turning over to new owners and the other options in my neighborhood not doing it, I have settled on India Palace as my go to. Note that I do think the food at this location is markedly better than India Palace Roseville although I do think they are related. The Paneer Makhani is my jam-- so buttery and delicious. As I've said, it's my fave in the cities. My husband likes the chicken tikka masala which has a similar base. The garlic naan is nice and garlicky, and the mango lassi the right consistency. Sometimes I treat myself to some samosas too. Again, always ordering via DoorDash but usually it is delivered to my house within an hour. A little planning required, but things seem to be humming along nicely. See you soon India palace uptown!!

My heart was warmed with the excellent services and delicious chicken masala while waiting for my alterations next door. If you are hungry for food, they are super fast.

Had this for the first time last week and it definitely won't be my last! I went for lunch with a friend and we were seated right away. They were definitely busy with take out orders but it didn't feel busy. My friend and I ordered the following: veggie samosas- 8/10 delicious! my only critique would be the amount of sauces they gave and the texture of the mint chutney was a little different than what I'm used to but the samosa itself was delicious garlic naan- 10/10 fresh and absolutely perfectly cooked!! chicken tikka masala- 9/10 wow the taste is fantastic but I wish we had more of it!! chana masala- 8/10 it was a great option for people who are vegetarians because the flavors are all there! I cannot wait to come back and honestly, everything was decently priced and I left feeling really full!

Ordered India Palace Uptown for takeout the other day after one friend told me it was great and another friend told me not to believe them so I decided I had to find out for myself. I ordered Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, Aloo Gobi, and Chicken Biryani all at the medium spice level. Overall, it was solid but nothing special in my opinion. The garlic naan was very good and I'm sure it's even better in person. 5/5 The chicken tikka masala was a much smaller portion than I am used to receiving at Indian restaurants and the medium was not as flavorful or spicy as I would have liked. 3/5 The aloo gobi was solid. A larger portion than the chicken tikka and had a better spice level. I enjoyed it. 4/5 The chicken biryani was a great portion size and the best of the 3 entrees. It came with a side of raita which is basically a yogurt sauce and it went really well with the biryani. Once again, I would've liked it to be a little bit stronger flavor and spice level but overall pretty good 4.5/5 And of course it came with a heaping container of basmati rice which was great. It can be quite frustrating when restaurants don't give you enough rice. 5/5 I am new to the Midwest and heard spice levels in the Midwest all get tweaked down one notch compared to other places so maybe it's just an adjustment thing for me, but my spice tolerance is definitely super low and I found the foods only the tiniest bit spicy aside from the aloo gobi. I would try this again but I'd like to try some other Indian restaurants in the area before then.

The people were really nice, we had a staggered arrival and they were understanding. If you wanted something you could call out to a waiter, there is always one near by. The food was amazing! They understand zero spice means absolutely no spice and the four spice was so yummy. The vibe was chill, perfect for a catch up with a friend.

The service is always fast and the food is always good. I have been coming here for years. I love this place so much. I also always have leftover because their portions are that big even though I always come hungry. Get the naan.

#stayathome but lunch supporting local businesses and delivery drivers, Yes please. Healthcare worker just bored of eating everything home cooked. Decided to order some lunch and super happy I did! I got the vegetable Samosas and they were plump, hearty with all the right dance in your kitchen spices. The mint chutney that comes with them was phenomenal. My curry was also delicious and leftovers remained for lunch tomorrow! I used GrubHub for delivery and got my lunch hot, fresh all within 30-35minutes. Highly recommend and for a great price of about $21 before delivery tip.

It would be five 5 stars but it's too spicy. More in this later. We had the Chicken tika masala other wise known as buttered chicken excellent sauce. Second is the paneer makhani(tofu) no complaints. Last was the lamb kebab which granted we ordered hot but there are 2 levels of hotness above hot. This was HOT. The side veggie dish, this came with was very tasty. The garlic nan was ok but we got 4 large pieces for $3 - so good value. The kheer(rice pudding) and the gulab jamun(donut holes soaked in sugar sauce) deserts was amazing!

What a charming little Indian restaurant? I have passed by this place too many times to count but decided to check them out while I had some family in town. We arrived on a Saturday night around 7:30 pm, no reservations needed and were promptly seated by a very kind hostess. The decor is modern and booth seating options are perfect for groups and couples. The restaurant was fairly busy on this cold winter night and had a cozy inviting feel to it. I ordered the Lamb vindaloo spicy hot. My sister had the Beef vindaloo medium hot. And my Mom had the Lamb Mikhani medium hot. The Lamb Mikhani was so good I think I'll order it the next time I visit. All dishes were served with White rice and it came out in a large pot for us to share. We also ordered Garlic naan and Regular naan to share. The Tamberlin sauce - was perfect with the naan. There was also a Mint sauce but I did not try it. The place ran like a well oiled machine. The staff would come by periodically and check if our rice needed to be refilled, ask if we wanted more naan or anything else, check if we wanted more water or other beverages, and made sure to clear the table as empty dishes to pile up. I look forward to many more visits in the future.

    Gobi Manchurian

Good food, affordable price, great service! A great place for casual dinner. Definitely recommend the Gobi manchurian.

Vegetable samosa ($5). Vegan by default. Pretty tasty.

I was craving Indian food recently, so I got takeout at Gorkha. The chicken tikka masala was tender…read moreand flavorful, with a generous side of rice. The lamb biryani had a good amount of lamb and I had plenty of leftovers. It was exactly what I needed!

My second time getting take-out here. I ordered around dinner time on a weekend and the food only…read moretook about 20mins which I consider good timing. I got the below items and while everything tasted fine, the flavors weren't very robust. Everything was ordered at Mild spice level which had a tiny kick, and the first two came with basmati rice. For some reason they put all the rice in one large foil container, which I later remembered happened last time (2-3 yrs ago). Honestly I wish they wouldn't! Anyway, while nothing tasted bad, 3 stars is the highest rating I can give. FOOD REVIEW: * Palak Paneer -Okay. I can't place my finger on it, but something in the flavor was lacking, and fell a bit flat. * Lamb Vindaloo - Okay. Noticeably more potatoes than lamb. The sauce was a bit thick, almost like canned tomato paste. *Gobi Manchurian - Meh. It was little too acidic (think tomato vs vinegar). Also, sadly it was soggy due to how it was packaged(see pic). They may want to consider using a container that allows steam to escape. *Garlic naan - Okay. TBH I would have been just as fine with the frozen garlic naan from Trader Joes. If I give it another try in the future, and it's for me and someone else I will request they place each entrees rice in it's own container. With stewed/saucy meats and veggies, I like to combine each bite with rice. Without a dedicated foil plate of my own (and say we don't have access to plates 'cause we're out) what do I do? Continuously dip my (used) fork into the communal rice to add into my small container of entree?! Anyway, on a positive note, they do have a decent number of parking spots in the small lot and a lot of tables if you want to dine in.
