Updating my review since our AC ran out of freon and the company we rent from uses Infinity for any and all hvac work orders. They tried to send Pablo to fix our AC but we requested a different technician this time. We got JUSTIN. Technician called and said we were scheduled at 10am but that he finished early and asked if he could come by earlier which I didn't have a problem with. He showed up IRRITATED. Our dog started to bark because someone was at the door and he got more irritated and rubbed his head saying he couldn't hear me which was understandable so I put my dog in the cage and told him to meet me on the side of the house so I could let him take a look at the ac system in the backyard. He didn't say anything about me having to literally open every door for him so he stands there waiting for me not saying anything until I walk towards him and he says he has to go into the attic. I wait for him on the couch downstairs to finish looking into the attic and he came down and as he tries to talk my dog started to bark but not excessively like when he showed up and this guy just shakes his head and walks away like?????? Sorry my dog is such a nuisance for you, damn. He tells me why the ac isn't working and that he needs to call his company to ask for a certain part to pick up. He was done talking. I asked him if the ac was going to be fixed today and he goes "well if you just let me finish". He stopped talking so I assumed he WAS finished. I don't know what the hell was up this technicians ass but it had to be something. I've never met a more irritated person who had to do his job. As I wait for him to call his company, I get a call from the company we rent from (that put in a work order with Infinity to do our ac since it was still under warranty) and he gets off the phone maybe 5 minutes later and tries to tell me what will happen but I told him to hold on because I was on the phone. He deadass sighed irritably and walked away. I was off the phone in 10 seconds. That's it. I just had to tell the person on the phone "ok thank you". He got pissy over me telling him to hold, would it have been any different if I just waved him off? I go up to my screen door and say "Sorry what were you saying?" and this asshat ignored me so I just said "alright well i'll be in here when you're ready to talk" and he goes "are you talking to me??? What's your problem?" all irritated. He got up and approached my screen door. I just told him straight that I asked him to hold on since I was getting off the phone and he got irritated. I apologized and asked what he was saying and he got irritated. He told me he just got off the phone arguing with his manager to clear his schedule to fix my ac and i'm being rude to him as he is doing me this FAVOR. I told him that I was trying to answer his questions and he couldn't hear me because he had his airpods in his ear and that if he didn't have it on that he would of heard me better the first time. He told me if I had a problem that someone else could come and fix it instead of him and I just said I didn't like his whole attitude. He was complaining he couldn't SEE me through the screen door even tho we're in broad day light and I told him even if he couldn't see me standing right by the screen door what does that have to do with not HEARING me speak to him and he couldn't say shit to explain where he was going with that excuse. He told me he had to leave for an hour to get the warranty part. I called Infinity to let them know what happened and asked if that's the kind of people they hire to work for them. An hour and a half later and he comes back but doesn't announce that he is back. He could of came up to the front door like he did initially or verbally said something after he came through the side gate but nothing. He just walked to the side of my house and let himself into the backyard like what the hell? I was confused because he needed me to literally open and close the door for him at first because he couldn't touch it and now he's over here walking through the side gate and screen door like it was normal after what had happened. He was going in and out through the screen door slamming it so he could do work in the attic. He only said 2 things the rest of the time he was here. He nicely said "can you turn the ac back on to 65 please". 5 hours later and the AC unit is properly working. "Alright i'm all set have a good day" and when I said thanks he shook his head and put his hands in the air like he was saying what the heck that's it? then went back to his van and sat infront of my house for half an hour. I knew he didn't want to be here after he suggested someone else do the job. Yeah my AC works again, but I didn't need all the drama he brought with his service. Shows what kind of company they work for. Maybe a course in courtesy would help with this problem. read more

Honest. Knowledgeable. Did the job quick and correctly. Better prices than competitors. Unfortunately we had to get scammed by Goettl before getting referred to Infinity Air. We paid $220 for Goettl to replace a part to tell us we then needed a new unit. Infinity's technician couldn't believe they charged us anything to assess since they could see our unit had caught fire and melted. It would have been impossible to fix by just looking at it. Very fair pricing. I paid less than half of what "the other leading company" charged on their estimate to have some duct work replaced in my attic. Work was done quickly and correctly. Technician (Erick) was on time, and very professional. The existing connection of the ducting to my return air wasn't fitting that well, so a new attachment was fashioned out of sheet metal, at no additional charge. Was able to pay by credit card and had receipt/invoice before technician left my house. Will definitely be using Infinity Heating and Cooling in the future. read more

Then unfortunately the part that they installed was a lemon and busted and the next day we were sweating again. I wanted to wait at least a month before I wrote this review. My husband and I have been living in our home 10 years this July and slowly our power bill has kept creeping up during all seasons not just in the summer. Average per month $488. That's almost $6000 a year! In the winter time our power bill was around $275 and in summer time around $600. Our house is 3417 sq ft and there is only two of us. We have consulted our neighbors with similar square footage and their power bills were not even close to ours. So instead of waiting for our two ac units to breakdown and be at the mercy of ac companies during the +110 degree weather to either fix or replace them we decided to take control. My husband contacted and met with 5 companies and 4 solar energy companies. He explained the same problem the exact same way to each company without influencing them in any way. Each solar company indicated our main power cost is coming from non efficient AC units. The ac companies varied in pricing from $12000-$40000 with each a different recommendation for type of unit. Richard the owner of this company definitely stood out from the rest. First off he was the only owner who met with my husband all others were sales reps. Secondly not only did he met with my husband but set another appointment to meet with me. In addition he provided a solution to our problem rather than just selling us two ac units. Turns out our venting system was done incorrectly which was creating our hot spots in our home as well as the in efficient units. The other companies did not address this at all. One company even suggested that our units were fine and should last a few more years. Richard and his team provided us with a honest and fair quote, arrived on time and finished on time. Which is rare for companies in Las Vegas. It's been a month and the weather has not been over 82 degrees and we have already saved $100 compared to last year. We feel that Richard took the time to provide us with not only a solution but educated us on why his recommendation would help. We interviewed 7 hvac companies, all of which had good things to tell us and some had very good pricing. However, when Richard, the owner of the 8th company, Infinity, came to give his "spiel", we knew pretty much right away that his was the company to go with. We got a 16-ton system for a similar price which other companies were going to give us for a 14-ton system. And, we got a Trane (other companies either didn't sell Trane and had to offer more mid-priced units or did sell Trane, but they were thousands of dollars more.) Needed to replace my 28 year old AC finally. Got 4 quotes from 4 AC companies, 3 from NV Energy referred listing, and 1 from Home Depot. Infinity won my selection by providing the most detailed quote from what will be replaced and 10 year warranty on parts and 2 years on labor plus 2 year free maintenance check, all slightly under $9k for a 4 ton 17 SEER Trane unit. Highest quote was $13k for almost same, without the maintenance part. Lowest quote did not detail out job-did not earn my confidence. Install happened the very next day with a large crew. This is a long review, but if you're getting ready to spend $1000's on something as important as AC, I know you're interested in details. Infinity H&C (don't confuse with Infinity Air) was one of four contractors I requested bids from to replace my two 20-year old 3-ton condensors (the unit outside the house) and coils (like a cold radiator the fan blows through). Their bid was very competitive for a highly-rated Trane system and they beat some bidders who were proposing lesser-rated equipment. One competitor came in just a bit below them, but I didn't find their staff member or their customer care to be as admirable as Infinity. Richard, the company owner, came to the property to bid. He's affable and knowledgeable and he expressed pride in his company. He said for highest efficiency, I should replace my heater/blowers, but he also said they appeared to be in decent condition and the choice was mine. He provided bids for both options. The company communicated well. I received their bid within two work days. One of their competitors never even sent their bid, even after I made a follow-up request. If you're not even capable to follow up with a bid for a $10,000 project, why bother coming out? I received a call from Alex at the office a few days prior to install and a text message the day of install. For someone that deals with cranky people with problems all day, she (Alex) comes off as kind, patient and professional. The crew arrived at about 6:40 for a 7 am appointment. My technicians were Justin and Erick. Both were professional and competent. Erick installed the coils and air handlers in the attic and garage, while Justin replaced the condensers outside. I'm a DIY kind of guy. While I know nobody wants the client over their shoulder, when I did pop out to check progress, Erick took pride in explaining why he preferred certain methods. His coil installations were tidy and well-sealed. After about five hours, the install was complete. The two units running simultaneously were about half as loud as just one of my old units. It hasn't been warm enough to need the AC yet, but I'm looking forward to having my solar system cover my entire annual power load with these efficient units. Now here's where Infinity rises to five stars: Since Erick had to modify the gas line to correct the alignment for the new equipment, he had turned off our gas supply. When he went to relight my water heater, just before leaving, there was a problem. Out of nowhere, the gas controller on the water heater was blinking an error code. Despite having other service calls, Infinity shuffled their schedules to try to resolve the problem. When they determined the proprietary replacement part for the Kenmore water heater would take for four days, I told them I understood and could live that long with cold showers. It is what it is. But Infinity didn't consider it acceptable to leave a customer without hot water for several days. Instead they made arrangements to have the entire unit replaced the same day at their expense! They even made sure the new water heater had a high-efficiency rating and 50 gallon capacity: No cheapo contractor unit. Now, I know my project took a big bite out of their profit margin. And I won't be surprised if they start having customers sign a "collateral damage" waiver in the future. Whether they do that or not, the character of this company is one you can count upon. read more

A squealing noise from my outside unit's fan motor led me to contact Infinity. The dispatcher told me there was a tech in my area, and he was able to come by in just a few hours. The unit was less than five years old and the tech, Arlo, determined it was still under warranty. I'm never calling another company but Richard and his guys for my A/C issues EVER again, these guys are hands down the BEST!!!! My immediate and extended family owns many properties and we have had our share of A/C issues in the past. This time one of the AC units in our investment property wasn't working and the tenant was complaining. I called around to several companies and spoke to several people, most of them were sales folks. One company sent a guy out and told me that I had to replace the entire unit with a used unit and it would still cost me $3200. When I asked him some technical questions about the unit, he stuttered and couldn't answer. Let me tell you, it takes a lot to impress my mother. However, she was impressed with Infinity Heating and Cooling. The individual who came to the house, Denis, took the time to inspect the problem. He looked the the heating unit and inspected it carefully, only to find the issue with the thermostat. He replaced it and my mom stopped having issues with the heater turning off. She was very happy with the service. She stated Denis was very professional, on time, and did an excellent job. Now, its not often my mom gives a compliment, and thus, I would trust them with my heating and cooling needs. Personally, I have not had to use them, but my mom (who does not how to use Yelp) insisted that I take the time to give them an excellent rating b/c Denis was extremely patient and re-checked the problem numerous times until he figured it out and then fixed it. We just needed our microwave properly vented to the outside of the house. It ended up being a way easier job than expected, but Denis explained everything to me and made sure that everything was sealed properly and there was no leaks. He also was impeccably on time which is rare in the service industry and a nice change. Thanks for your perspective Richard but your tech was already on a service call at my house. So while there is some justification about overhead, inventory etc., a 10 fold price increase on a part is unethical and taking advantage of a customer. Everyone expects you to mark up a product or service but as a small business owner I can tell you that I would NEVER treat my customers in this fashion. And I deal with other HVAC companies at my business and personal locations, so I am very aware of what is normal pricing. No matter how you spin it, your pricing is abusive and unjustifiable. I went with this company after looking through the yelp reviews that seemed too good to be true. I called about 9pm and they had a spot to squeeze me in at 7am the next day. Richard was the one who came over and the first thing he did was apologize for being 10 minutes late. You know that aura of a nice and genuine person all around? Richard has that. I ended up getting my AC capacitor and a leak fixed, all things that he showed me so I could see for myself. Even though I knew they were booked all day they never made it feel like a rushed job. He also waived certain parts of the repair that weren't initially quoted to me, so in the end I didn't even mention the yelp deal I had talked about on the phone. After all, what's $20 when he saved me $300? Other things I appreciated was that he asked for permission before going upstairs, we're crazy cat lovers, and he is very friendly and easy to talk to. Great service ! 1st encounter : 3 months ago I spoke with Richard regarding a blower wheel replacement. He provided me with all the information I needed and had me set up an appointment with Alex. Alex sent Justine over to check the wheel. I wanted the wobbly wheel replaced since we had just replaced the unit and blower motor. Justin was extremely professional ( so was Alex ) and informative. He noted the size and model of the wheel, went and picked up a new one and had it installed shortly after. AC was up and running without a noise in no time 2nd encounter: few weeks after I noticed a rattling noise and contacted Alex. She offered to have a tech come over and scheduled an appointment however the noise went away so I canceled the call. 3rd encounter : it's January and the rattling noise is back so I messaged Richard. He called me the same day and offered to have someone come by. He assured me that the problem will be taken care off. Justin came by again and discovered the problem was not the blower wheel and it was just two AC duct rubbing against a stud. He pushed them apart and noise hasn't come back since ! Justin is a great guy and an asset to this company ! They offered a great price , great service and most importantly they are standing behind their work and warranty.
