Find anywhere else to take your car. First of all they have way too many cars there and not nearly enough help. It took months and when they told me they were done (after pushing it out weeks longer) things were still very wrong. So they kept it another 5 days insisting they could fix everything but they didn't. I left their shop with something that they broke and were not able to fix after saying they did because I couldn't take waiting another chunk of time only to drive across town to be disappointed again. Not pre-loss condition. I will say that they are very polite on the phone but guess what, that doesn't make up for a poor job. Don't let an insurance company force you to use this shop. Demand to go to another shop even if it's a hassle to do so. I have used Leif's in years gone by and they run circles around this shop. read more

Update: March 17th Soon after getting my car back from innovation auto, It was clear the work had not been done correctly. My dashboard is lit up like a Christmas and there is a rubbing/squeak coming from the wheels that were replaced after my accident. Car is getting towed back to them today... Like many people, after my vehicle was involved in an accident I reached out to my insurance company progressive and they recommended innovation auto as one of the shops in their network. Wanting to just get the repair done quickly I agreed. I was originally told by innovation that I would be getting my car back in two weeks. It is now going on three months that innovation auto has had my car but the best part is that it's been completed now for almost a week. Innovation auto will hold up your repairs by trying to charge the insurance company for things that they know they aren't going to pay for and then try to make you pay for them when the insurance denies the claim. I'm thinking they do this to get away with charging people for things they know they're not supposed to charge them for hoping that you're desperate enough to pay the money the insurance won't in order to get your car out. So if you feel like having your completed vehicle held hostage while innovation pretends to act nice and help you but he's lying to your face because they are so desperate to make a few bucks at your expense go ahead and check out innovation. read more

I had an unfortunate event being rear ended in fully stopped traffic. The truck that hit my small SUV did heavy damage to the back of my vehicle and also pushed my car against the car that was stopped in front of me. So the front was damaged as well. The truck's insurance company made contact with Innovation Auto Body in Milwaukee, OR to have them to fix my car. Long story short the Innovation Auto body did outstanding job fixing my vehicle! They kept me in constant update what was being done to the car; from ordering the parts to moving it on the production line to painting and completion of the job. Every question I had, I got a prompt answer and I hate to admit this but I was kind of bothering them with my many questions... sorry. All the staff at the body shop is the best! They are truly professionals, and obviously take their business seriously. I don't know everybody's name but the persons I was mostly contact with was Geo and Jeannie. Geo is the technician and has a super great attitude for his clients and he kept me up to date by emailing what was going on with my car and he would follow up with prompt phone calls. Jeannie is the office manager and I had so much fun talking with her. She is so friendly and puts you on ease when things seem falling apart ( = stress from accident ). I believe it was Andrew who would sometimes answer my call to the office, always very helpful too! Sorry that I don't know/ remember everybody's name. I highly recommend this auto body shop!! Went to this place because they have a working relationship with our insurance company. Spoke to two people there, but mainly someone named Bill. He looked at our van and then had me fill out paperwork. Went home and waited for his call to bring the vehicle in. When no call after 5 days, I called. Bill wasn't available so I left a message. No response. Waited a few more days and called again. Bill not available so I left another message with the person who answered the phone. No response. At this point 2 weeks had passed, so we took the van to Gerber Auto Body and got an appointment for the repair IMMEDIATELY. I cannot say anything about the quality of their work because THEY NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS! read more

Updates: Finally all issues being resolved smoothly. Thank you! When I finally got my truck back, there were too many things wrong to mention here. Most of them I had to repair myself, one issue I noticed as soon as I picked up my truck was back camera not working any more, so I let Bill know as soon as I noticed it, and Bill told me go ahead to fix it, and then I will get reimbursed for the repair cost. I did that the next day and send him the receipt and invoice, after more than two months and a dozen of calls to follow up, still not receiving any reimbursement until now. I was told the repair takes about 3~4 weeks, but finally took almost 3 months to complete. read more

This shop works directly with my insurance, or I probably wouldn't have found them. Worked with Bill and he was reassuring, kind, and knowledgeable. Answered my many questions and as a woman with very little car knowledge I didn't feel patronized or taken advantage of. I felt like I did all of the reaching out for communication, but that might be because I was anxious. He ALWAYS returned my calls and kept me informed of the status of my repair. There were quite a few delays in getting parts for my extensively damaged vehicle. It was a bummer, but I can't fault the shop for that. I just wish they would have given a little more padding in the estimate of how long it would take. So, the repairs. They seem...great? The paint job is nice. Like I said, very little car knowledge but it runs like it should and I feel confident they will stand behind their work. This place is BUSY and it's because they are good. My uncle went to innovation auto body four months ago and picked his vehicle up. The bumper looked like shirt and didn't match but on the other hand the lady that brought our car out was sweet and did a amazing job on cleaning it. I didn't have chance to do it before so we were happy with that part. We went back to have it fixed and turned out okay. The inside looked shifty like nothing was done. Promising shop. Scheduled an appointment to get my car inspected for potential work. Inspection went well, it was quick. Michael took photos of the car and that's the last time I heard from him. I just needed a quote. My issue with this shop is that they don't get back to you "within a few days" as quoted. That's okay though, the shop area didn't look safe. I got into a hit and run in July. Thought to myself well it might take a month or two. Well it's been 127 days since they got my car When I spoke to the person on the phone the said it should be about a month or six weeks. Now I get it there is some weird stuff going on in the world. They had problems getting parts blah blah blah. It's been years and we should be anticipating these things. Anyways my estimator was a person named Geo. I called this person multiple times. Only once was I ever able to talk with them. The four ish other people I spoke to were unhelpful and not knowledgeable so I just wasted my time. When I explained person number one had said it would take a month - at month two of time elapsed the new person I spoke to said, "well another month is a good guess but so is two". Guuuuh. What kind of garbage is that?!?!Also mind you I purchased an ebike to get back and forth to work which was fine July, august, and sept. Even though it was 13 miles each way. Once October hit it started to suck pretty hard. I made sure to tell innovation auto schmucks this each time I called. They knew I was riding in the cold and dark After month four of no word I decide to call up this "company" and they informed me that insurance spoke to them on November 3rd at 12:45 pm that they were to put a hold on the work. I decided to call them on 29th ish to see what was up which is when they informed me that insurance was stopping the little work they did on the car. With this Information I then called insurance and low and behold next day I get a call saying they were going to total my car.... Months of me riding my bike in the freezing cold which they were aware of and no freaking phone call. No texts. When I asked geo told me it was that he was sick for a week and playing catch up. Well man it was 26 days. 7 of which you were sick. Everyday which there were other people to call me. They never did fix my car and they will not fix any of my cars in the future. Innovation Auto Body is a bad place! My insurance company (USAA) has paid them thousands in unauthorized repairs, but they won't release the car to me claiming it's unsafe to drive. We had a parking lot fender bender. The first place I took it to said it would take two days to fix and return the car. I went to Innovation because I wanted to support a small shop. They also said it would be two days, so we scheduled the repair to be done about 5 weeks later to give adequate time for the parts to arrive. PROS - The repair looks great. They matched the paint perfectly and it looks and works like new. - The car was clean inside and out and when we picked it up. CONS - They were very slow. They found additonal work that was needed, but the parts weren't ordered until the third day which was probably the day they started work. They told us on a Thursday they'd need a supplemental approval and payment from the insurance company, but they didn't notify the company until Monday. They had the car 10 days which was at least 4 work days longer than necessary if they had functional and timely systems. - Communication was atrocious. I expected they'd call the day before drop-off to confirm we were coming - they didn't. Instead, when I called, they suggested we wait a few more weeks because they were so busy. While they had the car, three times they said they'd call me around noon the following day - so the next day I'd wait until 2 or later and then call them. Three times I couldn't get a live body when calling - I'd leave a message, but never get a call back. Twice when I called, they told me the person I needed to talk with was on late lunch (once after 2 pm and once after 3 pm), but would call back - they didn't. When we went in to pick up the car, the woman that was so friendly at the drop off 10 days earlier was barely civil to us. We had to wait 15 to 20 minutes to begin the check-out process. Overall, the quality of their work was great but their customer service wasn't. Like most people who get into an accident, I asked my insurance were to take my car. They recommended innovations. I have been waiting for my car for more than three weeks. The repairs they have been doing are a front and back bumper replacement. Most places estimate a time or three days. Innovations initially estimated a week but now are saying the date I will get my car back will have been one month from my first drop of date. All for replacing a piece of plastic. If Allstate hadn't sent me to this shop, I would have gone to Colton's. The three-day repair was originally scheduled for a Wednesday at 7:30 am. I called Tuesday at about 4:30 to find out that the parts weren't there. I guess they were going to wait until I got there to tell me. I rescheduled for the following week. The three-day repair turned into eight days with my car rental going from $80 to $270 out of my pocket. They insisted the deductible was $200 even after I told them I'd confirmed with my Allstate agent that it was $300. I finally got my car back the following week and the new gate rattled because they'd stuck the plate on with the wrong fasteners. They also didn't fix the bumper damage and told me that I'd told them not to. No, it was part of the estimate. All of this would have been bad enough but the gate isn't even close to a match. It's a dull navy blue instead of Honda's blue pearl sensation which, as the name suggests, has a slight iridescence. Before someone backed into it, my 2009 Honda had 36k miles on it and one door ding. If I had to do over, I'd save myself $570 and live with the dented back gate. The mismatch looks worse. Even if it's more of a hassle, I'd suggest going to another body shop. I wish I had. Actually, I checked my car rental agreement and it was ten days not eight. read more

Working with Innovation was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. My car was sideswiped leaving a scratch along 2 doors so I needed a repaint. My insurance recommended Innovation for repairs. I brought it in and they quoted me 4 days to repaint the doors. 4 days went by and I did not hear a word from them. I called on the 5th day to see if I should swing by and pick up my car. No one answered. I left a message and received a call back the next day telling me it was going to be another week. This cycle went on for a month. Every time I called it was always another few days, your car is next in line, your car is being wrapped up, oh your car still has to be painted. I finally escalated the situation with my insurance company and was able to get my car back at the 1 month mark. My suggestion to Innovation is to just be honest with your customers. If you are not able to start repairing a car for almost a month, tell the truth and tell them an accurate time to bring in their car so they are not left to accumulate hundreds of dollars in rental car fees. I felt lied to every step of the way which left me feeling uneasy and untrusting of your work. Based on this I would not recommend or use their services again. read more

This place is a nightmare! They have had my car two months. I was told every Tues and Thurs we will get updates. My account manager Michael' is rude and incompetent. He never called with any update. I had to literally stalk this place to get anyone to respond. I finally got an update 3 weeks ago my car would be ready that Friday. Friday came and went no word. I called every other day or so after that only to be out on hold for over 30 mins total each time. I was told he was in meetings, out with a tooth issue, out sick, "personal issues"....I'm sorry but there is no reason my account should sit just because the account manager is a hot mess. Mind you it's has been 3 weeks since I was told it would be done and randomly I receive a text asking for a review yet I'm not told my car is done. I call asking for a status update and told yes the car is done but they won't release it until they finish their paperwork. When I finally connected with Micheal he was rude and unwilling to help. He wanted to make sure I knew he was in control of when the car would be released even thought it was done. The whole experience is NUTS. Stay away from this place. There are three things we hold close to our hearts ,family,pets and our vehicles..When we don't know where they are at ,it gives us great anxiety and stress.Inovation auto has no clue about this.A one week estimate turned out to be a ridiculous 5 and a half week fiasco...(replace a fender)(already had the parts)I got no weekly updates about my car for three weeks.When I called ,no one could give me info on when the car would be finished.Inovation auto didn't care about the extreme extra time it took..Unlike innovation auto most of us dont have a multitude of cars in our driveways,4 weeks of a rental car ,500 $.lots of excuses and promises . .I don't make promises I can't keep but I can promise you, if you choose innovation auto better buckle up it will be a bumpy ride..That headache you got after your accident might be nothing like the pain in your backside you will get after dealing with innovation auto.The worst experience i have had this year and that includes my colonoscopy early in the year.When I got the car back I was just hoping it still had 4 wheels and a windshield,I was not disappointed.They held my car for a week waiting for the final payment.there was one shining star who kept me from spending a cosiderable amount of time in jail,and that was jeanine..my advice to innovation automotive would be to bulldozebulldoze the building and build a parking lot,they would make more money parking cars then they do fixing them... read more

I was in a rear ended accident back on January 19th. My Toyota Camry had a little damage which I thought to my bumper but Innovation took my whole car apart to make sure that they found all the damage that was done to my car. DO NOT DEAL WITH BILL at Innovation Auto Body. Innovation and I had to get creative in order to fix my van, it was difficult to find parts and I ended up having to supply them, and their willingness to help me was great. The issue is Bill authorized a shoddy repair to my drive shaft without even letting me know it was broken. Because they did not document the issue when it was first noticed and meet with me about how to approach it common sense leads me to believe that it was damaged at Innovation and someone tried to cover it up. I knew beforehand that the way I had to procure parts might cause issues, so when I took the van from the shop and noticed a shimmy in my steering wheel I wasn't surprised or concerned. But when I had my van into another shop to be fully checked out for a road trip they told me about the undocumented damage and repair to the driveshaft. When I called Bill about it he denied any knowledge, and said he'd have to check with the mechanics. When I brought the damaged driveshaft into Innovation he blamed it on their mechanics and said he never authorized it and wouldn't answer any of my questions, and gave me a bunch of BS. I was furious, so I packed my damaged driveshaft around back to their mechanics and started questioning every employee I could find. I eventually found the person responsible who told me it was only meant to be a temporary repair to get my van inside the shop and was never supposed to be driven on. He also told me that himself and Bill and one other party had a meeting about the driveshaft before proceeding with an unauthorized repair. So not only did Bill know about it he also also authorized it WITHOUT TELLING ME AND THEN LIED TO MY FACE!!! I eventually confronted Jason the owner about it, and he eventually did give me $300, but the total bill for replacement and installation was 450. I do feel Jeanie the manager and Mike the main mechanic are well-intentioned good people, So if you go to Innovation deal with Jeanie. DO NOT DEAL WITH BILL! HE WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE ! read more

They worked directly with my insurance and were able to arrange the rental car through Hertz just up the road. They were friendly, reassuring and kind. They worked with State Farm and the things they messed up, which added a week to my repair - all State Farm's fault. Let me start with the positive. They are friendly, helpful and seem like all around good people. Now to the negitive..I had less than $2000 damage on my front bumper. Took it to them, had the repair done, went to pick it up and the bumper was NOT installed correctly. Big gap on the side that had the damage. They said "oh your right" (duh, you could see the huge gap). So I needed to bring it back so they could "repair the repair". Second trip, they did provide a rental car and promised to have it done the same day. Went to pick it up...now we have a gap on the other side..Really..did you inspect the car prior to letting me pick it up. This required a third trip back to them so they could repair the repair of the repair. Back again, another rental car. They called and said my car was ready, back to pick it up. The bumper was installed correctley this time BUT now the fender flair was sticking out 1/4 ". They blamed it on the tape.....not only will this reguire ANOTHER trip back here I opened my car door to find foot prints and smudges all over the drivers side interior. this involved another trip back here so you can "fix" that problem. Why can't they inspect the car before letting it out of the shop....Went back the 4th time to get my car. Fender flair is better but not flush to the body. Positive was they had a mobile detailer come and clean the smudges and dirt they had left in my car. Picked my car up around 5pm that evening, the next morning I got a call to tell me my car was ready for pick up...ARE YOU SERIOUS....... I will not go back to have them "fix" the fender flair, I've had about as much as I can take with that company. read more

My car had been damaged by ice in February and on a referral I dropped my car at Innovation on March 15th. I told Bill I had 30 days of car rental through my insurance and he assured me that should not be a problem. As 30 days approached I started calling. Bill said they had employee turnover problems, the job was bigger than they thought, but that it should be done within a week of the 30 days running out. From there the odyssey began, with me calling every few days to be told it would only be a few more days or at the most a week until it was done, only to call again and be told the same thing. After paying for the rental car for several weeks, I let it go, thinking I could last another week or 2 since I was being told it was almost done. At 8 weeks, I had to have a car and started renting again. By 10 weeks, they were telling me it was going to be done the next day. Jeanie, who was very nice but was I assume just passing on the disinformation from others, stopped telling me anything and just forwarding me to Bill. I think even she was embarased. I even started getting automatic texts from them saying it was done only to call to be told it was not done. I finally picked up my car June 11th. The sad part is that in the end they did a pretty good job on the car itself. If they just would have communicated what was going on and what was a reasonable estimate of how long it would take the whole experience would have been much better. As it was, they came across as incompetent at best, and just bald faced liars at the worst. So, if you want your car to disappear into a black hole for a long period during which you have no real idea when it will be returned, this is the place for you. My Tacoma truck was kind of a mess following a MVA in October. Innovation was one of the shops on my insurance companies preferred list. The previous Yelp reviews for this shop were good so even though it was not close to my home I picked them to do my repair. It was a long process (right at 2 months) and lucky for me I had another vehicle to drive while the repair was being done. They worked with my insurance and it was a pretty smooth process overall. The replaced parts were all OEM and while it did take longer then I thought (but hey, what do I know about auto body repair?), but I was very happy with the final results. I have been driving my Tacoma again for the past 2 weeks and it indeed appears to back to pre-loss condition. The wait was long but the most important thing is the final outcome. I would much rather the repairs were done right the first time as opposed to being done poorly and fast. I would recommend them to anybody who asks! Thanks! read more
