Wow. AMAZING customer service. I was having the most stressful morning when I realized I needed a new battery. I unfortunately know nothing about cars and always get so nervous about doing any type of service to my car. I purchased a battery a few years ago from them which was still under warranty. I was starting to notice a slight hesitation when I would start the car, and it was later determined that my battery needed to be replaced. I was offered a new one with a 25% discount for the warranty, which I accepted. I learned that the fee to change out the battery had increase to $30.00, however they allowed me change it out myself, using their tools. The person working with me gave me the exact tools that I needed, walked out and explained what I need to do, and offered to help with any problems. Sort of bummed about the fee increase, but they made it very easy for me to quickly do it myself, and they were very helpful from the moment I walked in. Same for the first time I was there as well. Interstate is the one stop battery shop! We needed a special battery for our straight saw and Autozone didn't have it. We had 4 guys standing on the side of the road waiting for this battery, so the heat was on. I called Interstate and they said, "yes we have it, hold on and let me make sure so I can put it aside". Sure enough, they did have the battery we needed and they had it ready for pick up in the back parking lot where they are practicing social distancing. I needed a battery for my motorcycle so I did some research. I could've bought a really good one online, since I had a $100 Amazon gift card. But I saw that Interstate Batteries--a Christian-owned business-- was right down the street from me, so I rode over. Before I arrived, I saw that mentioning Yelp would get me 10% off anything in the store (see my attached photo). Cool! When I arrived and checked in with Yelp, I was happy to see I was offered a $10 off discount on anything in the store. Even better! I found 3 batteries that fit my bike and asked for the best one. As I was buying it, I mentioned the 10% off discount. The salesman immediately told me that the discount didn't apply to batteries. What?!?! At a battery store? I showed him the Yelp message and he said, "Yeah, the fine print will say that it doesn't apply to batteries." I read the message and there was no "fine print." I really should've just left right then. Instead, I bought the cheaper battery and left without getting a discount. I was a little frustrated. If you offer a discount, you must honor it! I'm still a little miffed about the incident and can't recommend this place to other Yelpers. read more

Joe helped me install my battery. I installed it myself, but Joe pretty much helped me the entire time. Now I know how to do it, so it was kinda like a free class on changing a battery too. He even threw in some covers to prevent corrosion on the battery nipples (is that what you call them?). :) Took about 15 minutes to get in and out of there... My Civic Hybrid has a small battery that you don't find everywhere. The Honda original doesn't last long and I've been having to replace it yearly. This is the best place to get your oil changed. Their staff is curtious and professional, and will check all the lights on your car before you leave. They adhere to a high ethical standard, and will not change your oil if it is not needed. They declined my request for an oil change because of this once. Also, one of their technicians discovered evidence of tampering/sabotage in one of my systems (it was the air conditioner), and educated me on how to fix it. It works now. Life Savors! After having to jump start my car twice, I made it my mission to get a new battery this weekend. I went to 3 AutoZones, each one sending me to another store in search for a battery that would work in my car. My car is a 2012 Mazda3. As I am being turned down at the last AutoZone, a nice guy in line recommended I go Interstate All Battery up the road. What did I have to loose at this point... I was greeted when I entered by Fernando (I believe that was his name). There were 3 customers ahead of me and Fernando said it might take about 30 minutes to be seen, since he was down a person at the store. I was going to leave but he looked up my car and told me the cost of my battery (which was cheaper than AutoZone). After that, I decided to wait since I really didn't want to go somewhere else.
