Don't eat here! The place is literally falling apart, and it didn't feel clean. They take 0 covid precautions, such as no social distancing, seating me and my friend very close to others. No masks on people waiting to be seated. All of our food was cold and tasted like it was reheated. I wasn't really hungry so so I got mozzarella sticks, and one of them tasted really cold, almost frozen. Overall, I am sad to see this restaurant not thriving as it used to, and it felt as it wasn't as good of food as it used to be. read more

Interurban is a great place to go if you are looking for a classic American meal that's always consistent. They have good burgers, good brunch, and good pasta. My go-to is the Dixieland bowtie pasta. It has a good creamy flavor and just enough spicy to keep it exciting. This is a great place to take a group. The atmosphere is relaxing. On Sunday, they have a brunch buffet. Great food as usual, and service was attentive. But..... absolutely zero Covid enforcement. Zero, nada. Sign on door says masks required. But we sat and watched as persons, individuals and large groups, casually walked in with no masks, no questions asked. Social distancing? None. Watched as staff pushed several tables together to seat large group of unmasked persons. What is the purpose Interurban of posting public health rules if you are going to ignore them? Wow. What a disappointment we had this evening. We've always told our friends that Interurban is the place that never disappoints. Regardless of what you order. Their dishes have always been a delight. This evening, however, we ordered the bow tie pasta and it was tasteless. Watered down. And just not as delectable as usual. The other order was the vegetable plate. It is always steamed to perfection. I got my plate and the veggies looked wilted. When I tasted them they were watery. So they must now be boiling these vegetables instead of steaming. It was a very bad experience. I don't know if they got a new cook or if the one just had an off day. My family and I love the Interurban in Edmond! We have been coming here for years, and I like their consistent menu. Steaks, Seafood, TexMex, all American food, and even some vegetarian dishes, everyone can find something awesome here. I also think that they have pretty decent prices, not cheap by any means, but affordable. They have a great happy hour (I think it's M-F from 3:00pm to 6:00pm - $2 domestic draughts!!). Maybe I'm just lucky, but I always have the absolute best food and service from this location. My personal favorites are their chicken fried steak (which is amazing!), the turkey melt, and their Caesar salad. So good! My husband loves to go on $6 burger Tuesday's, and they have brunch on Sundays. If you're new to the area, this is a solid place to have lunch, dinner, or drinks. It was $5.99 burger night at our local neighborhood Interurban, so we decided to head on up and tie one on. We were told the wait would be 15-20 minutes and were seated within 10 minutes. Burger night is BIG deal here! Hubby ordered the Honey Pepper Bacon Burger and I ordered the California Burger...what can I say I LOVE avocado!!!! The burgers were cooked perfectly and the fries were crisp. As busy as they were, service was never lacking. Our server, Jurnye, was very attentive and stopped by regularly. We go to Interurban maybe quarterly. I've never had a bad meal here. They have great Chicken Tortilla Soup, great salads and yummy beer muffins. Like I said, never had a bad meal here. Wednesday is the $9.99 Fajita special and Friday and Saturday the do hickory smoked Prime Rib until they run out. Need that prime rib fix now and then and this is one of two places I go if we aren't up for making our own roast. Most times coming here the food is great except over last few times over the years seem to be getting worse. Ordered a iu blue cheese burger, medium well, with fries. The burger was well overcooked, rushed and most of the toppings were hiding under the fries. Bacon that came with it was gross, tasted like it was cooked in old grease. The chicken macaroni and cheese is awsome also. Another great thing about this place is the portions are big. Yearly Family visits to Edmond must include a visit to interurban!!!. The crispy chicken salad with any choice of dressing is to die for. The atmosphere and incredible service only make the overall dining experience top notch. Cannot forget to include the margaritas that will rival the best. This visit included my birthday lunch and the staff even quickly stashed a brought in birthday cake by a guest in our party and was presented to me in a surprising manner. It's on the edge of a 4. Place was really dirty, menus were greasy, table was sticky, made you feel gross. However, what keeps this from being a 0 was the food. The food was solid all around. Well done. The salad was a little wilted, but their honey chicken is on another level. Their queso appetizer was fire! The food speaks for itself, just so dirty. I'll give it another try in the future and hope to change it to a 4 or 5 star rating. read more

Interurban is surely one of my top five favorite restaurants in the Edmond area. My family and I have been eating at this establishment for over ten years. The customer service is always consistent and somehow they have managed to reinvent themselves and stay relevant without compromising the integrity of their menu or concept. I definitely recommend the chips, salsa and espinacha queso. The salsa and queso are homemade and some of best I've ever had. For an entree, the hamburgers and sandwiches are all superb. One thing I have always enjoyed about the restaurant is that it seems like a burger joint but you can really get anything from a good pasta dish to some quality Mexican food. Their enchiladas and fajitas are delicious every time. I'd highly recommend Interurban for the family or a casual date night. I went to this Interurban on Tuesday Nov. 23, 2021. It's in Edmond, OK so I had a feeling that I might be the only person of color there. Sure enough, when I walked in I was the only one. Not a big deal tho because I've been the only person of color in a room before. A lady ahead of me asked for a table for one and the host took her to the left where there were many people seated and eating. I walked up and asked for a booth for one because I could see that there was a booth open. However, the host took me to the right and sat me in a desolate area where there were only two people eating. He tried to seat me in a booth that seats at least 6 people. I asked him if this was the only booth available and he said yes. He said there wasnt a booth available in the other area even tho I saw one that had just been cleaned and was open. The vibe was all wrong so I told him never mind and walked out. I haven't experienced discrimination a lot here in Oklahoma but then again this is Edmond OK and they have a long history of discrimination. Very disappointing. read more
