Been twice, both times was a blast. Decorated well, lots of fun, and a great staff. We did jewel of the sea last night, the guide was awesome and I appreciate that they put in the effort for the sake of immersion. We did the transit escape before as well. Both times we finished with less than a minute left so they are fun yet still relatively challenging. They don't give you too many hints, but will help you if you ask for guidance. I've been to 4-5 escape rooms, this being my favorite by far! If you're considering it, just send it you'll have a blast. read more

This place is so wonderful!!! My son just celebrated his 13th birthday here by doing the Terminal Escape Room with 6 of his closest friends ranging in age from 10-14. It was his first time and only two of his friends had any experience with an escape room before. Lindsay was our host and was so incredible. We felt so comfortable and taken care of. Lindsay was patient and cheerful and so supportive with them as they took a bit to get momentum and make their way (and I, as the chaperone, didn't really know how to support them right off the bat)... when they succeeded with the mission they were on top of the world!!! While this might be a new escape room, the creators here are established in the game with some previous mobile adventures. Their room The Terminal is a fun puzzle adventure in New York. What I enjoyed most about this place was the involvement of the staff being in character. They are friendly and fun and really play their part in their room immersion. Great place to play and can't wait for more rooms here. read more

You can choose multiple escape rooms and they each have tricky puzzles that you need to solve. You can enjoy the perplexing puzzles of these areas. You might have to race against the clock to stop hackers or pirates. In these escape rooms, you should have 1-4 people at a time (the more people the harder). read more

We held my kid's bday party here for a group of 10 year olds. They had so much fun. What a great experience. The Terminal Room was challenging and made them work together to figure things out. I liked that it requires them to think out of the box, see things in a different way, and pay attention to details. I was the adult chaperone and it would have been challenging for adults too regardless of age. read more

They go full out with the customer immersion: the second we walked in we were in awe of their lobby, the couches are comfy af and there's so many little detail, same with their Escape rooms. We came to Intrepid Escape Rooms to try the Jewel of the Sea and celebrate a birthday. We had an AMAZING time! The room was filled with various puzzles to solve. I have done both rooms with groups of 6-8 - The Relic and Terminal. Have done several escape rooms and the production value is high quality here. The game hosts/employees are enthusiastic and great. The rooms have unique and creative features. They said they're building a third room in the next few months and they also have mobile escape games. Note the Terminal is "easy" (but still fun), so if you're experienced and want it more challenging or have a bigger group, try The Relic. I would say both are fairly linear. read more

We had a great time in the "Escape the Terminal" adventure. Kai, our adventure host was the best. We had a birthday party for my 11-year-old daughter, and four of her friends. They loved the adventure and puzzles. It was nail-biting to the end. They solved the last puzzle with 1.4 seconds remaining! So exciting! All the 11 year old girls screaming in exhilaration! The accommodations for celebrating a birthday party were so much fun. There were both boardgames and a table screen game. There was access to a kitchen for our birthday treats and plenty of tables and chairs to fit all our needs. Intrepid escape rooms was truly the best! read more

Even though it is a beginner level, the puzzles were still very creative and cleverly designed. As a group of majority first timers, this was super fun! Justin was our guide and he was so sweet and encouraging to our group of 7. He let us wander and try to figure out the room, but provided clues when needed to get us back on track. We escaped with 20 mins left. We did the tunnel room with our two kids ages 9 and 11. We were able to solve with an extra 15 on the clock. It wasn't too difficult for the kids to participate. The kids had a blast. The set up was a little cheesy but worked out perfectly for us having kids in the group. I think if you have a group of adults it might be a bit too easy but for a mixed group it's perfect. read more

We had my son's 9th birthday party here, and both the adults and kids had a blast! I did not participate in The Terminal, but I could hear the excited cheers and shouts of the kids from the party room. The party room is a good size (we had 7 kids and 7 adults in our group), and includes a kitchen with refrigerator, sink, and microwave. Kai was our host, and he was the best! He came in to check on us periodically before our scheduled time and was just so enthusiastic, energetic, and helpful the entire time. I think The Terminal was just the right level of difficulty for the kids and the adults in our group. We are hoping to go back to try The Stolen Relic. Highly recommend!!!! read more

We went for my partners birthday, our first escape room ever, and we were not disappointed ! We chose the harder room The Stolen Relic-- as first timers we were stumped quite a few times but the helpful hints were much appreciated and added to the great mysterious atmosphere! We were somewhat close to escaping but time ran out , not a bad blow at all! Just fed into us wanting to make a return trip. We plan on doing the novice room next time and make our way back to The Stolen Relic All in All , wonderful service, wonderful fun ! We loved our escape room experience! My boyfriend and I have done several escape rooms and we were blown away by this one. By far one of the best. We did the Stolen Relic room with my parents. It was very immersive, our host stayed in character the whole time and the room itself did not have any of those ugly "do not touch" signs. The puzzles were excellent and diverse, and they force you to be creative, but still feel manageable. Amanda was our room host and she was superb. She welcomed us, had a great sense of humor, and supported us along the way as we solved the puzzle without interrupting unnecessarily.
