New location just opened July 2024. Looks nice inside. Greeted by very young girls with no personality, very shy and quiet. Had great service Fernando. The food was meh. $17 bacon cheeseburger was not worth the price. Burger was probably a 1/3rd pounder. Pretzel roll was nice, cheese was basic, no flavor American, bacon also had no flavor. The standard burger comes with their house burger sauce. I ordered it on the side, thankfully. It's a mustard base sauce. What were they thinking? Mustard is not well liked by so many, that's why restaurants always bring ketchup, not mustard, to the table. I would have had to send it back if it was on my burger. No BBQ sauce available in the restaurant either. They've got potential, they need to fix up their menu, reduce their prices and they may do ok. I've heard their craft beers are excellent but that's not enough to survive as a restaurant. I'll check them out in 6 months again once they've worked out the kinks.

    Margarita pizza

The margarita pizza is incredible, not your typical PA pizza - this coming from a Jerseyan. The waitress was super nice and patient too. Their online menu has more options than the one we saw in person though and the strawberry margarita didn't taste or look anything like a traditional margarita (it seemed more like strawberry lemonade with tequila and artificial pink food coloring). Although their mixed drinks can use a little tweaking their pizza is perfection.

Fried Chicken Sandwich, Southwestern Grilled Chicken Salad, Chicken Caesar Salad

We decided to try the newest addition to the Lehigh Valley. The ambiance was simple, but comfortable. We all started with the onion au gratin soup. It was good. For our entrées, we got the southwestern chicken salad, the fried chicken sandwich, and the chicken Caesar salad. I would say overall, it was just good. The chicken Caesar salad had a good dressing, but the chicken was bland. The fried chicken sandwich had good potential because the crispy chicken itself was very good, but how it was put together wasn't the best, and lastly, the southwestern chicken salad, keep in mind, is spicy. It was 100% my fault that I didn't realize it had jalapeños in it, so it was a bit too spicy for me, but overall there was nothing much to it. The ingredients that were listed for the salad other than lettuce, were minimal, but the dressing was excellent. There were definitely great menu options, so I think it is worth a try and we would probably come back if we were shopping at the mall, but not to soley come here. The waitress was very friendly and attentive, she did a great job.

Chicken Thai Salad with Tuna substitute

Average at best & won't be back. Extremely slow to bring beers to the table. Half done with meal and the beer finally arrived. Had to ask twice to get them. Food was blah. Thai salad was tasteless and guest with me said BBQ Pork sandwich was not as good as Dickeys (and that place closed a year ago). They blast the music so load it is almost impossible to talk. Waitress was friendly, but not attentive. Too many good places in the Lehigh Valley to go back here.

    Crab cake.

What a nightmare. Had a reservation for 6pm. Waitress brought water and then disappeared for 20 minutes. Ordered at 6:20. Food arrived at 7:00pm. Waitress looked miserable. No manager came by to offer any explanations or apologies. Got about 19 fries with my crab cake. And the crab cake was awful. Why go to all the trouble and spend all the money to renovate and open a restaurant and have it be amateur hour. Edit: I gave this feedback to the manager Rachel. Instead of reacting defensively she thanked us for our feedback and apologized. She was lovely.

Coffee Etc. is a locally-owned coffee shop located in the heart of Castle Shannon. It is near well-known places such as Ice Castle and just down the hill from Myrtle Elementary. They serve traditional and artisan coffees and teas, along with an extensive menu of breakfast and lunch items. There is always a selection of desserts and pastries on the counter as well. It is right along the T line, so it is easy to get to both by vehicle and public transit. There is not a private parking lot, but there are spaces along the street out front, as well as ample Street parking options around and behind the building. I have never had to park too far away when making a stop here, often securing a space right in front. The shop has both indoor and outdoor seating options. There are two-person and four-person tables that surround the front entrance. Inside, there are low-top tables, high-top tables and couches to choose from. On the weekends, it can be packed in here in terms of seating. I usually am able to find a table, but just be aware in case you are coming during a peak time! Overall, the vibe is a comfy and cozy cafe. It is warm, inviting, and makes you want to hang out for awhile. I always love the in-progress puzzle that sits at the counter where drinks are handed out. You can contribute a little bit to the work-in-progress in your idle moments waiting for your order to be ready. It is also fun to see what puzzle will be there the next time you visit. Something cool about this place is their dedication to their faith. They have free Bibles available for visitors, and they host different Bible studies and groups throughout the week. On this day, I visited around 1:45 PM on a Wednesday in September. It was not very busy, but there were other patrons in the shop. I took a moment to look at the monthly specials on the board outside, and made my way in to order a drink. The staff here are always so friendly and kind, and so it is no surprise that I was promptly greeted when entering. I was between a few of the drinks, but I ended up deciding on the Kettle Corn Iced Latte, since that is not a flavor you see everyday for coffees. As it was not busy at this time, I only waited a minute or so from the time I placed my order to when I had the drink in-hand. My drink was very good! I loved the unique flavor of the Kettle Corn, as I had never had that in a coffee before this latte. I truly have never had a bad drink or food item from here, and this visit was no different. They have so many different flavors and sauces to choose from, you will surely find one to your liking. I typically get one of the features/seasonal drinks, but you are able to customize any which way you want. Their breakfast sandwiches are amazing here, so I have to mention them in this review as well. I did not get one on this visit, but they are made-to-order and the quality is top-notch. There are several sandwiches on the menu, but you can also customize your own. I recommend getting the Chipotle Raspberry Jam on whatever sandwich you choose. It is wonderful! Plus, the sandwiches come with a little cookie as a sweet ending to your meal. The pricing here is on-par with what you would expect from a local coffee shop. I am usually spending between $6 and $7, depending on the size. I will typically get a custom sandwich, which starts at $7.50. It is not off-base with what you would expect for a local shop. I do feel the value is there, since everything is so tasty and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I always love coming to Coffee Etc, and I highly recommend you give it a try if you are in the area or are thinking about stopping. The atmosphere, homemade sandwiches, variety of drinks, and the cozy vibes keep me coming back time and time again. Plus, they are always having new and seasonal drinks to try, so there will always be something different to enjoy.

It was refreshing to see customers decked out instead of the usual pgh hoodies/sweats. In Mt. Lebo, we visited for Pittsburgh Restaurant Week ((summer 2026)) to try out their prix fixe menu and was not disappointed. You have the option to add on wine pairing for an additional charge. Started off the experience w/ warmed bread & whipped honey/chive butter that they bring for the table. Mellow & light. It was good. But to me, the bread crust was a bit too hard. Drinks menu displayed a varied range of crafted cocktails, beer, carefully selected wine & NA drinks. Husband had the Brown Sugar Peach Bourbon Mule- oh so good-- the peach puree offset the bourbon and it was ah-mazing! I had a cosmo- balanced & not too tart- I absolutely loved it! For dinner, husband ordered the Almond Chicken on Parmesan risotto & sauteed spinach. Seriously goood! The chicken was breaded then roasted w/ some flavoring & almond slices -- accompanied by a brie cream sauce, risotto & spinach. The brie cream sauce & parm risotto didn't feel like cheese overload ((thank goodness)), it was the right amount of sauce : cheese ratio. A must order dish. Prix Fixe Starter was Steak Tacos 2/order. Char siu marinated skirt steak w/avo-corn salsa, feta was unbelievably refreshing & light and the steak was tender. Really, really good!! Entree was Pork Medallions ((2)) on a bed of crispy poblano polenta w/ a side of sunchokes on a hazelnut watercress pesto; a blueberry maple glaze topping off the entire dish. One of the best entrees I've had the pleasure of enjoying. The pork was super tender & moist-- each bite was Umami to me. I asked the waitress if the chef was thinkin of making this a regular menu item and hopefully they would. Husb thought it was delish too. He ofc had to have a "few" bites to taste lol! Dessert was a Cremeux- a mousse/pudding like dessert so so sooooo good! It had crushed almond streusel & dulce de leche de coco sauce. Husb found it too sweet, but I cherished it. This entire meal & experience was magnificent for the both of us. Most def comin back again & again! Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Drinks: 5/5 Food: 5/5

Unfortunately, the restaurant closed and was bought by new owners, which is now known as Wild Rosemary Bistro. The restaurant probably can only hold about 50 people. They have a Supper Club prix-fixe menu that is served family style, which is a unique experience for guests. I brought my Supper Club to try out this place, and the experience was filled with both ups and downs. First, I had a rather large group coming, and they split up our group into 2 tables that weren't close to each other. I knew this ahead of time, so that was no problem. Our waitress was nice but the service was pretty slow for the amount of people in the restaurant. It was also very hot in the restaurant, and our group had to ask for ice for our water and ourselves because we were so hot. The meal started out with some sauce & ricotta focaccia. It was doughy and soft but very heavy and filling. It was a nice, added touch since it wasn't on the menu! Carrot & Fennel Soup: This soup was different and outstanding! The flavor profile was so good, and I enjoyed every minute of it! We also got some more bread in between courses. Lemon Cream Alfredo: This dish was very lemony and not overly hot like I would have liked. It definitely tasted like something I could make at home. Salmon: We got A LOT of salmon, but it was very dry and overly tasted like dill. Many people in my group loved this, but I was not one of them. Nutella Tiramisu: I don't like coffee flavor or Nutella, and I loved this dessert. It was so flavorful, and we got a very large portion! Overall, we paid $80/per person for this meal. We got A LOT of food and even had enough to take home. However, for as much quantity as we got, there was lack in the quality of the food. There were so many bread and starch courses, that we were ridiculously fool throughout the whole meal. We would have preferred less bread and more substance. The idea and concept for this restaurant is great. I really hope they are able to provide a better quality of food. If they do, I think this restaurant could really soar!

The waitress was so nice and the courses came out quick since it's a set menu she even packed up our leftovers. Definitely come hungry because it's six courses plus homemade bread . I had enough for a decent lunch the next day. The biggest con for me is its far from my area but I'll take that drive once a month for the changing menu
