Went for the first time with my friend today (thank goodness I did since it was their last day at this location!), grabbed me the kelaguen plate and a couple empanadas, and everything was very delicious! Marinated just right, flavors on point. There's not much Chamorro food on my side of town so I'm glad to hear they're relocating that way!! Hospitality was amazing as well, got to chop it up with Shawn (or Sean?.. I'm not sure lol), very nice guy! Def be going back once they open on the southwest area!

Håfa Adai!!! I was in town for a work conference on the Strip, and after my wife shared Island Comfort with me on IG, I had to make the drive--and lannnn-yatttt, let me tell you, it was absolutely worth it. I brought a coworker with me to put him on Chamorro food, and Island Comfort did not disappoint. We ordered the Two Lovers Plate, the Fiesta Plate, and two empanadas. The food came out hot and juicy as hell--instantly brought me back to family BBQs. Tasted like HOME. Everything hit the spot: the red rice, the finadene, the perfectly marinated proteins--no misses. Highly recommend Island Comfort, and I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Vegas. Also had to cop some t‑shirts and a hat while I was there.

5/5 stars Short Rib Plate: 4 pieces short ribs, red rice, & double potato salad w/ finadenne. instead of chicken kalaguen.

Been here a handful of time, went last week for the first time in about 2yrs and still AMAZING! Nice casual spot with about 3-4 tables and a high top area for additional seating. DELICIOUS authentic Chamoy (Guamanian) food. The owner Chris was so inviting. He said it's a family owned business with his sons right in the back doing their magic. Everything is cool to order so with that in mind be patient to receive your hot and fresh plates. 5/5 stars Short Rib Plate: 4 pieces of bbq short ribs, red rice, and double potato salad w/ finadenne. *double potato salad instead of chicken kalaguen. 5/5 stars BBQ Spare Rib Bowl: 2 ribs 2 scoops red rice w/ finadenne. 5/5 stars BBQ Chicken (ordered à la carte)

First impression, it's a small out dated shop. I don't mind because the best foods come from places like this. You definitely don't pay for the service. The front cashier guy litterally doesn't give af. He's just there to do his job. No hi, how can I help you, nothing. Now to the food, we got the fiesta plate. If you're looking for BBQ that tastes like a homemade back yard bbq, this is the spot. I liked the style. My only peeve was how thin my chicken was. It was as thin as the skin and for the price of the plate, not worth it. I'm not familiar with Guam island foods so I wasn't really feeling the other chicken side that came with the potato salad and I didn't care for the sauce. The red rice was new to me but I did like it. It really was the service and the portion for me.

I was lucky enough to experience a restaurant have their health inspection while still being able to help their guest as they walked in. Ambiance was good no complaints Food was 4.7/5 ..

Empanada was really good, and so was the rib.

Important note: if you don't like vinegar, or sour flavors, don't come here. Stopped by for takeout and got the mixed plate. The red rice was garlicky and nice, everything had strong flavor and the meats had a nice char on them, which I like. It's a small mom and pop shop, very much comfort food as their name suggests.

Excellent! 5 Stars! Flavor, Service, Price - 5 stars across the board. Food: We got the combo platter. It had a lil bit of everything. It's similar to Hawaiian but definitely different. - First, the red rice was light, fluffy and similar to Spanish rice. It was bolder in flavor to Spanish rice but much lighter than Spanish rice's big cousin - Jollof rice). - The ribs: spare and short ribs. The short ribs are very similar/identical to what'd you see in Hawaiian cooking but I thought the flavor was a lil better than most short ribs I've had. The spare rib was; great char. And, I don't see spareribs too often at Hawaiian restaurants. - The empanada of tamale? I'm not sure; I saw both names. It was unexpected. My uncle described it as sweet fried cornbread... I definitely get that comparison. - The shrimp and chicken keluga. The staff described it as their version of ceviche. That's an apt comparison. The shrimp was excellent but the chicken was more interesting (I haven't had those flavors in that combination). Overall, I highly highly recommend. The shrimp keluga was an add-on but everything else was one plate for $25. We split it between two grown men and was very satisfied. For the flavor and price, this place is going to be hard to beat.

Small hole in the wall plate lunch place. Very mom & pops style family run. Friendly service with a smile. Menu is online or on the counter. They have some specials thrown up on the walls and board. No fountain drinks but they have our fave island style canned juices. They've got limited seating inside but they also have patio tables and benches outside. They've weather was beautiful today so we opted to enjoy our lunch outside. They let us know it would take a while for our food but we were okay with that and appreciated the heads up. Got 2 empanadas, bbq shortrib, extra side of chicken kelaguen, and garlic shrimp. Needless to say, everything was on point and hit the spot. The shrimp were huge! Short ribs were marinated to perfection. Will be bringing visiting family here.

Came in with a group of 20 people right as they opened (sorry to the staff lol). Service was great. The owner was very informative and had a great attitude. The food definitely delivered for me in terms of flavor and texture. The empanadas were a stand out for me due to how crunchy they were and how it had the right amount of spice to it. Overall, if I ever make it back to LV in the future, I'll hope this place is still here!

Got take out lunch the other day from Island Comfort and everything was very good. The shrimp were large and very garlicky, rice was flavorful and perfect sticky rice texture. There's a lot of food and service was very friendly. Would come back when I'm in this part of town.

The food was amazing!! The staff were friendly. The inside is really basic. Which doesn't add or take away the taste of the food. I'm guessing the building is a bit old. Everything looked aged. You would have to see it in person to understand what I'm saying. Great food though.

Came here because my co worker is from Guam and she was hyping this place up. Finally had a chance to come with her and other co workers and let me tell you! It's fantastic. I've tried another Guam restaurant but this place for sure was better and their shrimp patties are to die for! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I'll be coming back here often, only downside for me is that is a little far away from where I stay. Well seasoned food, fresh, large portion sizes. All in all, you're sleeping on this place if you haven't tried it yet!

    Outside sign. Great food .

I've been to this restaurant for breakfast literally dozens of times recently while in flight school at the airport. Not just because it was conveniently located to the airplane, but because the people were just so nice and the food was good. Also... They cook my steak right EVERY single time (even most steakhouses usually can't get it right the first time- see pic here). I also found the prices to be a bit lower than most places for that kind of food. That was a major plus as well... And all the airplanes hanging from the ceiling is a cool, creative touch as well. You can also watch the planes takeoff and overlook the flight deck as you eat breakfast, as well as go outside on the roof onto the observation deck and watch the planes takeoff. You can't do that in most restaurants. Anytime I'm in town, I eat here and would highly recommend you give it a try as well!

At one point I came back in to get to-go containers and was waiting patiently, and he was running food outside so I moved out of his way, held the door open. He didn't even acknowledge me, say thank you and gave me the rudest look. I was not impressed at all. That alone has me uninterested in ever going back. The meat was tender. The pastrami was good. I grew up eating KC BBQ and and lived in TX for several years and had plenty of TX BBQ- this to me is decent BBQ but if you know and like phenomenal BBQ this isn't going to compete with that. Read so many great reviews so I had really high expectations. Again, kudos to the pit master. The tenderness of the brisket, pastrami and beef rib was the saving grace.
