As a whole I am not a fan of donuts. That was until I tried Island Glazed donuts. I have become addicted to Island Glazed donuts! They glaze most of their donuts with local flavors like guava, pineapple, Lilikoi, mango and lychee. They also have a PB&J (so yummy!) and a coffee flavor too! They are all so delicious that I have hard time picking which ones I want so I usually settle for one of each. Oh and the cinnamon roll. Another pick that is hard to resist! My absolute favorite was the strawberry mango and Oreo. The donuts were beautifully light, airy, just like a cloud. I would say THE most important is it doesn't have the old vegetable oil taste that Krispy Kreme has. Super clean taste guys! Definitely recommend. Owner is good fun. Melt in your mouth kine donuts. First time visiting this place this morning and instantly got welcomed in. A guy who I believe in the owner asked if we been here before told him it was our first time he then walks to the back room to grab samples for us to try and you would think he would just come out with donut holes or small pieces of donuts NO! he came out with a whole glazed donut for us to sample! Delicious donuts hands down the best I have tried on Oahu paired with a Super friendly environment cannot help but support places like this so they can stay open for generations to come. Donuts were so soft and just melted in my mouth. I got guava, strawberry mango, matcha, chocolate & a free coffee . The fruity flavors were light and not too sweet just the way I like it. My kids devoured the chocolate I didn't even get a small bite, they rated it a 10/10. Matcha had no matcha taste to me, tasted like a regular glazed donut. Let me tell you, came across this gem of a donut shop called island glazed, some of the best donuts I've ever had. The guy in the front was very nice and he said whichever flavor is not there we can make it for you. I got the dozen mixed pack :pineapple, ube, coffee, guava, mango, and mango strawberry. Super nice staff Super fresh and tasty doughnuts. I saw many other people comparing these to Krispy kreme and I would agree it's the same type of doughnut. However, I found these to be even lighter and way more elevated with thoughtful combinations of flavors. I felt like the flavors weren't overpowering they were light but you definitely knew each distinct flavor. Dangerous addiction level over 100. Need an ono doughnut this is THE SPOT. While there are many options for a simple donut here on Oahu, there are few of note and those tend to have more of a nostagia factor. None have quite hit the mark of competitors you could find across the continental US. I mean, we have frequently flown to Maui just for Krispy Kreme to satisfy a simple donut craving. If you haven't been to Island Glazed in the Pearl Kai Shopping Center - go!!! Ngl I like their glazed donut better than Krispy Kreme. They also offer military discount. They even have a pretty good iced americano and a small couch area to chill while eating your donut. Donuts of any kind are my favorite. I've been hoping for a REAL donut spot for years. I was ecstatic to see this place pop up on my feed a while ago, even more so when I saw they were close to me. It took a bit but I finally went for a visit. Not sure how packed it can get at later times with parking as I got there right as they opened. While everything wasn't stocked yet they were quick to offer me with anything I wanted to try right away. I picked up two and a half dozen for myself and coworkers. Everyone let me know how great they were. In my opinion comparing Dunkin and Krispy Kreme with these are a detriment to how good these are in comparison. Every time someone would bring either in at work they would never scratch the itch for donuts like these do. They have a nice structure and crisp outside as the franchised ones sort of dissolve in your mouth in an unsatisfying way. All of the flavors taste more natural and less artificial. These didn't last past the end of the work day but they seemed to keep a lot better too, didn't dry out or get overly soggy. The one I had 9 hours after picking them up was still good (of course not as good as fresh). Not sure when I'll get around to stopping by again but I'll have to try out more of their menu. I also love Cinnamon Rolls and Long Johns hoping I can find a new favorite. read more

Donuts here are divine, it's like a Krispy Kreme donut but better flavors. Plus they have Koloches and Apple fritters! The Apple fritters are crispy outside, soft inside. Koloches are savory sausage wrapped with dough, I prefer the spicy one. Coffee! Island Glazed serves local Alii Coffee, smooth and delicious. I love that they open early, 6am and lots of parking in the mornings. Located in the Pearl Kai shopping center. Drove through the shopping center last night when we saw island glaze! Per husband's request I needed to go in the morning and check it out, absolutely worth it. The service was amazing, but the Donuts are the true star here. We went with strawberry mango, strawberry, guava, chocolate and Ube was recommended by the women boxing the donuts! They're all a 10, the flavor is spot on for every one we got and the donuts are so moist and fluffy! Walked around lunch and was immediately greeted by owner, Daniel. Loved how open and inviting the space was, and just overall had great vibes. Nice mural, clean equipment, and smiles on faces. While he and his employees refilled the what looked like sold out case, he reassured us there was still plenty in the back for us, and was ready to serve us with great recommendations. Making us laugh and just spoke to us with the candor and attitude a friend would, he also asked us if we also wanted coffee too with our donuts-- reminding us it was free for this month. For less than $20 we walked out with half a dozen donuts, and man were they great. Soft, sweet, and good and natural tasting flavors that compliment each other. A decent variety of local flavors, I'm going to need to try them all, haha. The cherry on top and what will make me come back is the effort Daniel put in to making sure we had a great experience. Opening the door on the way out, repeating our names back to us, and before that, chatting with Cece (who I also think opened up nearby in Pearl Kai), Daniel is the kind of business owner and person I want to support. The americano smelled mildewy and the donuts tasted like old oil. 1/5 is my honest review with no exaggeration. The glaze on the donuts is wet and makes the already greasy donuts soggy. Tasted it with my family and then threw it in the trash. Must have been an off day since everyone else seems to think this place is great. At least the store looked clean read more

I love supporting small businesses. Since I was in the area I decided to check out several places. I wanted something sweet and donuts sounded yummy. I went around 10am and they still had some donuts left. The lady helping us said it's better to come before 8am for a better selection. Good to know. I will keep that in mind. Let me tell you, the donuts were fresh and melt in your mouth. I loved it. I got matcha which is my fave, chocolate, Oreo, maple and cinnamon roll. This is my new to go for doughnuts, I have been here three times and it never disappoints. The owner is so cheerful and always always up beat and nice, my first time here and the pos system crashed and I wasn't able to pay. So he allowed me to come back and pay for my order, the next time I was in there. It is so hard to find someone that still believes in the good of people.
