WOW! I actually tried my first donut from here at an event and the Kolaches and i was SOLD instantly. This is so much better than krispy Kreme which I never would have thought to say before trying. Since then, I have tried I believe every flavor except the chocolate ones (not my cup of tea) I come by the store around 7:30 AM and there is never a line and always a large selection ready to go. The customer service is great and fast and the donuts themselves are a great price for that quality. There is always pretty good parking and inside there is a few seats that you can sit and enjoy your food. There is a cooler with a selection of drinks and theyll get you on your way. The one thing I wish they did have at this point would be a loyalty program. I only say that because I definately come more than I should! This is my new to go for doughnuts, I have been here three times and it never disappoints. The owner is so cheerful and always always up beat and nice, my first time here and the pos system crashed and I wasn't able to pay. So he allowed me to come back and pay for my order, the next time I was in there. It is so hard to find someone that still believes in the good of people. I can't say enough great things about the different flavors, and the taste of dough is great. I can't wait for next week to come so I can get more doughnuts. read more

We went out of our way to try this donut place because I've heard such great things about it. Showed up a little after 10am and the selection was extremely limited- the top 5 flavors we wanted to try were not available. This might be the type of place that doesn't make any more once they sell out, but we were super bummed to not get any. read more

I stepped in and was greeted by Daniel who identified as the owner. I told him that I heard of them through social hype and everyone has been talking about them and I wanted to try one of each to make a dozen. He said it's 8% off if I buy a dozen and I told him I wanted to try each flavor because it's our first time so when we visit again we can purchase what we like. When I checked my receipt, I was charged $33.68. I don't know how that happened when each doughnut is $2.38. If you do the math it does not make sense even with tax. Yum! We came in at 12 on a Sunday and they had maybe 2 dozen left of a couple flavors. It was busy too as three other families were ahead of me in line. I wanted to try every flavor and asked if they were making any more. The owner said he has some donuts he didn't want to put in the case due to slight imperfections (too big, too small, not the right shape, etc) available for purchase if I really wanted them. I said I'll definitely take them and he glazed them with any flavor I wanted. He was so accommodating! The only flavors he didn't have was the lihing, maple, and sugar. My favorite flavors are the lilikoi and guava. You can easily identify the flavor and it wasn't overly sweet. Pineapple was also really yummy! The mango, matcha, and ube were very sweet and I couldn't really taste them. I wouldn't know what it was if I wasn't told. I'll definitely be coming back closer to 6am when they open to get them hot and fresh. They have tables inside too if you want to dine in. Parking is easy in the Pearl kai shopping center lot. Wow. So being a strong donut critic and literally trying every donut place I can. I can finally say there's actually a good donut shop here in Hawaii. Don't get me wrong, there's lots of shops here that make cake donuts or mochi donuts but there are no good yeast donuts here. Island Glazed makes yeast donut rings and some other items they are trying out such as fritters, cinnamon roll and I think I saw a filled donut. I purchased half dozen of the rings and fritters, mostly because I love a good apple fritter. They have a wide selection of rings with some really good flavors! So far, I tried the ube and pb&j. The pb&j was amazing. The ube is good, I feel they need to tweek the flavor a little bit stronger ube taste but it was still yummy. The fritters are great! Good mix of apples and cinnamon. I already raved about this place to my friends and I recommend anyone who wants good yeast donuts to come try this place out. I drove from west side of island to try them and would do it again. Can't wait for them to try out new items. Hopefully we can see some seasonal flavors in the future like pumpkin or maybe like a cheesecake flavor! Thanks for bringing good donuts to the island! Seriously the best donuts on the island even compared to the fancy places in town that focus too much on the toppings--these taste freshly fried, with just the right amount of glaze and very unique and flavorful toppings! I love that there's a lot of room inside to relax and let your kids play with their toys while you sip coffee, it's the perfect special outing/treat for everyone in the family! Perfect to pick up something for the office or spouse as well, their packaging is great. Everyone there is so friendly and patient while you choose from among all the tempting donut flavors haha. Among the kolaches, it's like a cross between a milk bread roll and the Texas style kolaches and the Jalepeno one is by far my favorite. read more

This is my second time trying these donuts. First time someone brought it for a meeting. Yesterday, I went again to buy my own. Both times eating it, it was extremely oily. The topping and glaze is AMAZING and fresh, but the donut itself is completely saturated with oil and we couldn't even finish them. I went yesterday to see if it was just a specific batch that was too oily when we tried it the first time but it was the same the second time. Glaze is great but donut could be less oily. Edit: I don't appreciate how the owner thinks I made up this review. I got a matcha, strawberry, and lychee yesterday and my family couldn't eat it because it was too oily. It was so oily that it seeped through the bag and onto my car seats. I did state that the glaze topping was very good so I gave it my honest review. This isn't just a made up review and would appreciate owners taking accountability than blaming their customers on their input. read more

Who doesn't love donuts? And then topped off with local fruit flavors? I'm all for it. The shop itself has a nice open aesthetic--it's bright and welcoming. I stopped by at lunch time, so there was definitely no crowd and ample parking right outside the shop. The display was still filled with a good amount of selection. I have to say, I wasn't totally "wowed" over the presentation of the donuts--the donuts seemed a little flat, and the icing wasn't exactly the prettiest. But the flavors definitely lured me in. The display featured local fruit flavors like pineapple, lychee, mango, lilikoi, and guava. There was also chocolate mac nut, ube, and matcha. And of course, the safe options like strawberry sprinkle or chocolate. I purchased half a dozen for a little more than $17. The price point is a little high in my opinion, but I guess that's the price to pay to try these fun local flavors. The flavors I chose were li hing pineapple, strawberry mango, guava, dragon fruit, lilikoi, and PBJ. PBJ is hands down my personal favorite, followed by strawberry mango. Overall the flavors are all fun and worth trying. The donut itself is soft with that slightly crisp edge, and is pillowy when you take a bite. Definitely nice to have a local donut shop of our own and not have to rely on Krispy Kreme deliveries and fundraisers! Next time I'm in the area, I have to try their other flavors and maybe the other pastries available. read more

The donuts are the best on the island, and all the other islands. They taste better than Krispy Kreme. And a day later they still taste the same! My only caveat is that if you don't get them in a box, what's in the bag will stick to one another. Maybe include wax paper when bagging donuts? read more

A little steep in price as it came out to $20 for half a dozen and a boston cream. The best part was that it came with coffee! Donuts are definitely made with love here. OMG if you have never been here, you HAVE TO!!! Heard about this place from my husband who tried their donuts through his coworker. It's way better than any other donut places I've been to. I'm more of a glazed or chocolate donut person and let me tell you, it didn't disappoint. The workers there were super nice and welcoming. The store was clean and they were out of a lot of their special donuts but we got there a little over 2 hours before they closed and they were still making more. Totally recommend this place. My kids and I came in on Halloween and were greeted by the very friendly owner Daniel and a clean, colorful case of glazed yeast donuts that matched the bright donut mural on the wall. As part of their promotion that day we got to pick six donuts so we got one of each. Our favorites were the glazed, chocolate, and ube. We came back the next day and tried another -cinnamon sugar that was really good. They had a little toy espresso maker that my littlest one enjoyed playing with, a cute touch. As a mom, I'm always looking for a place I can take my kids where we can all enjoy ourselves. Really like the fact that there's plenty of parking, great customer service, and the donuts are so good. I usually order cake donuts from another shop, but these donuts may convert me. I hope they will add other treats in the future, maybe cinnamon rolls? Stopped in after a workout, cute, clean ambience. I knew that they had to be good since they were out of some flavors .. but they brought out some freshly glazed ones. Ended up with pumpkin spice, coffee, Ube, strawberry mango, guava & chocolate macadamia.. ohhh and the Apple fritter. Service was friendly, they said they could pretty much make any glazed flavor doughnuts that's out just not the filled. Tried this place out for the first time yesterday and it was great. Donuts are delicious but that is not what impressed me the most. When I asked if they had any more apple fritters he said they had one in the back but it was a deformed. I really appreciate that they will not offer a product that is not up to par. This is by far one of the best donut shops I have ever bought from. For starters, the service was awesome and super friendly. It was our first time there and they made us feel welcomed and provided us with a very pleasant experience. As for the donuts they are absolutely delicious. We ordered a mix of a dozen alongside an apple fritter. So far all of the ones we have tried were amazing. They have a lot of flavor in them and are a lot more moist than most other donuts which helps to enhance the flavor of the donuts. You can tell the freshness as soon as you bite into them. I highly recommend trying all of their flavors. Overall I think this is one of the best donut shops on island and I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys donuts! Decided to try this place out after they stopped by my work to drop off a sample box of donuts (so nice of them!) The donuts are yummy, fluffy and light, the glaze maybe a little sweet for my liking but really good. They gave good flavors! I went with ube & maple.
