Super cute cafe in the Weehawken area close to Blvd East. We've been here before but usually for coffee only so this time we ordered something to eat. The folks were behind the counter and making kimbap were friendly and had good energy. We were pleasantly surprised to see they had kimbaps and got two of those as well as coffee and matcha latte. Everything was really good all around. Drinks were well made and the rolls were big and had lots of filling. I enjoyed the vibes as I usually do at this cafe and definitely see myself returning for both bites and coffee. Recommended!

I love the staff here. Andrew and Suki are the best! They tap into community and respect artists and small creators. Their smash burger is incredible and their coffee is always made with so much love. The place looks like a young adults apartment full of knickknacks and local art. I felt like an unwelcome visitor in someone's unkept home. While an array of Knick knacks and mismatching furniture can look eclectic and remind you of your grandparents house, this place just looked like a mess. Furniture was uncomfortable to sit on, the random coffee table on the side, along with the office space, just took up unnecessary space. Our coffee was served in Anthropologie Christmas mugs, an americano and a latte. The americano was fine, the latte was absolutely not. It was half foam. Our sandwiches were dry, and definitely not worth the $8. The barista didn't bother to clean a table, though there is an area for patrons to put their dirty dishes, they didn't see it as it is a little inconspicuous. Instead he sat in his office while a patron notified him that he was going to be sitting there while the customer bused it himself.

Very cute local coffee place. We ordered a hot vanilla oat latte and a chai latte. To be honest, their drinks were lack luster and the coffee itself wasn't the best tasting. There is a good amount indoor seating but the cafe is filled with a lot of random and eclectic items. One positive is they have a nice book sections for young kids to read and beautiful artwork on display. They only have street parking and due to being located on a Main Street and in a residential area, parking can be a very big challenge.

COVID precautions - walk in for take out only. No sitting. The barista here was so chill and made a beautiful mocha. A lot of pastries made by the owner. I got a palmier which was fine. Wish I could have seen this place in full potential - it's a nice space! Warm and inviting.

Came by here on a Saturday morning for a quick snack and a coffee. Mostly empty inside with only one table outside with two chairs. Decided on the Latte ($4) to go along with a Blueberry Muffin ($3ish?). Coffee is your standard fare - good balance between the bitter coffee and the milk. Blueberry Muffin was on the stale side - cold to the touch and not much flavor overall. Worried about the COVID protocols here - one customer didn't have their mask on inside, which was negligible. However, he soon came behind the counter to get some items (still without mask), then went back to his seat inside (seems like he is an employee). Considering that, would be wary on a second visit.

I was visiting a friend in West New York recently and grabbed a coffee here for the first time. It was such a good latte, I came back the next day for another. The cafe itself is cool with lots of little boutique things to buy. Very friendly staff too.

I been following Ispresso for the longest on my instagram and finally had a chance to go check them out. Thankfully it wasn't packed so I was able to choose where I wanted to sit. It is furnished in a very unique way that makes it its own so I really appreciated the vibes. The lady at the counter was nice but I forgot to get her name. I ended up getting the caramel late which was delicious! They designed a little leaf on it which came out really nice lol I went to KUPPI in Edgewater and they butchered the foam designs lol My only is it was hot. Lol I know it wasn't that warm out but drinking coffee makes you hot and start sweating especially if there isn't any AC and that made me want to leave a little faster just so I can get some air and cool down. But other than that it was cool. ----------------------------- 06/2019 I am back after about 6 months. Tried this amazing refreshing drink. Andrew is still great. This will be my go to spot when meeting with my clients. ----------------------------- 03/21/2020 At this point this is one of my favorite coffee shops around. Coffee is good, service is friendly. Cool local cafe, very casual. Sandwiches are pretty tasty and if you get the prosciutto one they use the good kind (on the drier side). Coffee is robust and packs a wallop, had mine black with no sugar and a squirt of foam. Very tasty. Parking in the area is a pain. Lived in Hudson County my whole life; not really a shocker.

This place deserves a 4 star for sure. We ordered chai latte ( one of the best I have had so far) - 4$ only, cafe latte ( decent) - 3.5$ and the coffee cake ( good and spongy - 3.5$ ) The reason I am giving it a star less is because the barista was rude. She packed our coffee cake, without even asking if we want to be seated. Also she was quite rude in general. I am also attaching a picture of her. She was giving us looks as we had a toddler who was playing around, which was making us uncomfortable.

As per a friends recommendation I tried this charming local coffee shop this morning. Ispresso at Park has been opened since last August.with nothing but rave reviews all the time.Apparently they support local artists as you will notice there paintings on the walls when you enter. I didn't try any of the small selection of pastries(maybe next time).Just ordered a cold brew.Prices are very reasonable.It was only $3.00 for my daily caffeine fix. Just a few people working on their laptops with the free wi-fi offered here.They have an eclectic about of tables and chairs all around.Which I believe is part of the charm of this place. Hot or cold,coffee or tea definitely worth a look if your in the area of Union City.Parking is street only.I was lucky as there was a lot about one block away. Come support our local baristas and artists too! Till we meet again. read more

At last! Our town gets a nice and flavorful coffee shop filled with quality goodies! We can't believe we had not seen it until now. We passed by it after having bought sad Dunkin' coffee and we may have clicked our heels and squealed at the sight of "almond" and "soy" milk. Scones, cookies, wifi, a nice atmosphere...this place is just heaven sent. If you live in the area you should feel a huge responsibility to keep this place open. Please don't let the one and only amazing coffee shop we have die :) We sure will be paying visits to it as often as we can. Oh they'll have benches outside in the summer! read more

Relax and peaceful!!! Around where I live I have to say this is one of the best coffee shop to stop in NJ. I choose Ispresso to work. Being 4 hours in my Mac needs for me to find a place where I can be relax. My drink YUZU. I try both ice and hot and love it. I have to say that is a place where art is visible from outside to walked to the restroom. My friend choose Ispresso to show his art. Of course I'll be there ! read more

The coffee was okay. But the man working (I dont know if he is the owner) was constantly, and loudly, using foul language which was extremely inappropriate and made us uncomfortable. We were there for over two hours and listened to a near-constant stream of him using the F-word (loudly), along with the gangsta-rap being played as ambience music filled with lyrics using the N-word. Not a place for a quiet pleasant cup of coffee, or to read/study. Definitely not for bringing children. read more

This is THE place for good coffee in it's area. No one else comes close within walking distance. Pour-over from from quality roasters (some local) is the standard cup of coffee (no drip coffee here) and it costs less than what you would pay for pour-over elsewhere. The food options are tasty, but there's only one person behind the counter, so some extra time may be needed for a large complex order with various coffees drinks and sandwiches. I only wish this place was open slightly earlier on the weekend. read more

During the time of a pandemic sometimes all you need is a friendly half covered face and some good coffee/tea to make things feel okay. This would be the location I would go to if thats what youre looking for. I stop in get an iced tea and walk to the amazing views close by. There might be no better way to get a little break from life and relax. read more

Such a cute and welcoming coffee shop! I ordered an Americano and a couple of baked goods (an aussie bite, and a brownie-type thing), all of which were very tasty. Prices are pretty good considering the quality and uniqueness of their products, but I was particularly excited by their punch card that earns you 1 free drink when you get 10 stamps. I also liked the atmosphere of the space. It felt very clean, open, and comfortable. There are long tables by the windows to do work or eat as well as a cozy little corner near the bookcase to lounge a little. The employees are also very nice and left a good impression in just the five minutes I was there. I'm not in the area all too often, but I'll be sure to stop by again when I am. read more

This place has instantly become my favorite neighborhood coffee shop. It's trendy but cozy with its eclectic seating and tables. No two chairs are alike at three distinctly different tables. There's also seating by the windows and a raggedy love chair by the door that looks comfier than most clouds. It boasts a wide variety of coffees and teas, hot or iced, at reasonable prices. However, it's the homemade pastries that have sealed the proverbial deal for me. (I'm partial to the lemon scones. Delicious!) Nestled on the Union City/Weehawken border, this place is a stone's throw from everywhere which makes it ideal to walk to. I could spend all day here and I may very well do so one day. Who knows. It might be today given that I've downed my delicious caramel latte whilst writing this review without fully enjoying it. I believe I shall have another. read more

I'm a sucker for a cute coffee shop! Didn't stay but saw plenty of ample seating and tables with lots of space to work or hang out and catch up with friends. It has a very homey feel to it. I opted for the chai latte and b/f had a soy latte. The chai was a little on the sweet side but still very good. The soy latte also got a thumbs up. There were variety of pastries available that looked quite yummy. There were also other items for sale like post cards and candles that seemed to come from local sources. read more

This is my favorite coffee place! I always order the iced latte with skim milk. They have a bunch of goodies, my favorites are the anise muffin and cookies. The place itself is so minimalistic and clean. Free wifi and great, laid back music. A place to stop by on your way to work or to lounge around and get some work done! Know there is a $5 minimum charge for credit or debit. read more

This was the most yummy chai latte (with almond milk), that I've had. I wish I could've stayed longer than I did because I probably would've ordered another one. I'm so glad I actually got to make it into this place because every other time I've stopped by, it was too late and they were closed. I will def be going back again. read more

I've been to plenty of cafes, but this one specifically felt very homey. It's always a pleasant experience when you walk into a business and feel right at home. I've had the pleasure of conversing with the owner(one of them?) and let me tell you; that guy is a hoot. If you're a fan of cold brew like I am definitely DEFINITELY try the cold brew from this spot. Nothing wakes you up and gets the juices flowing like a good cold brew. I've also had this citrus cinnamon raisin cream cheese bagel. Now, I don't know if that would be considered an artisan bagel, but it sure tasted like one. The hint of orange surprisingly went well with the bagel and cream cheese. It also had walnuts in it, that helped balance out the citrusy flavor. read more

Pretty cool little coffee shop in the neighborhood. Had the turkey sandwich with red peppers, olives, and a vinaigrette. Coffee is delicious and I love all of the little art pieces and trinkets for sale. One con was that the windows were left open so all sorts of little ants were making their way inside and the barista was a little bit standoffish. Other than that, great place to grab a coffee and a snack! read more

This cafe is super cute. It has a very "homey" feeling. You walk in there's a huge book shelf on front with various books etc. Adorable tables and seating area that remind me of a cozy home in upstate new york or a country side. Alot of customers come here to use their laptops and enjoy coffee and teas, it's very comfortable space to do so. A big selection of different coffee beverages hot or iced. Also a variety of sweets and some sandwiches. They sell random items such as homemade candles etc from small local businesses from Brooklyn etc. The customer service is nice, cheery. Ive been here twice and definitely will be coming back here more. read more

Great little coffee shop! The moment you walk in it feels like home. It's cozy and has a very comforting atmosphere to it. The space is well lit with natural light and they have some tables and sofa chairs where you can do work. They also provide outlets and WiFi. They service coffee (obviously) and other small pastries. Drinks are a bit pricey but they blow DD or Starbucks away and well worth it. I got an iced Chai latte and don't think I'll be getting anything else ever again read more

This place must say has a extreme lackluster appel to it akward vibes , bad service. Hot and cold empolyees wont waste my time here doesnt respect anyone in the community. wont waste a dime in this place. coffee was below average. RESPECT THE LOCAL RESIDENTS !!! Finally, a nice café in my hood! The coffee is good and the environment is pleasant. They even had pour over coffee from 3 varieties. I had the macchiato (my favorite) but I'll try those next time. Came here to do a language lesson with a friend and there were only a few people inside during those hours, so it was quiet enough to study. read more

We do not have very good coffee places around this area, so when I saw Ispresso I immediately gave it a shot, I ordered a cold brew and did some work using their WiFi. Overall it was pretty average, the coffee had small pierces of coffee beans in the bottom, the barista wasn't very attentive. I will give it a try once again and see if they change my mind. read more

Espresso etc -Price about what you'd expect for a coffee shop -Some books and magazines to browse while you wait -reclaimed wood communal tables that are provided if you want to stay and hang and take advantage of the wifi. -overall good vibe Please support local people. Nice laid back spot with great coffee. I tried their Chai latte and it was really good. The barista even made a cute design on my latte. The place is also nicely decorated and has a bookcase full of books & magazines to browse while you sip your coffee. Pretty cool music and free wifi too! read more

Nice atmosphere here! Andrew is nice, engages in conversation doesn't just serve coffee and that's it. I was already pretty caffeinated so just ordered their americano. Next time I am curious to try out their dirty chai. This cafe had 2 large tables in the shop, good space to spread your books ( when the cafe isn't busy of course !) and do work. In an age where corporate coffee has an almost Titan-like hold on the stimulant addiction of human beings the world over, it is a bright, refreshing change to see coffee shops that appear to be focused on the important things in life - community, and coffee! As I walked in for the very first time, I initially thought I was walking into an office! This wasn't far from the truth! The owners operate an architecture firm from the coffee shop during the week. I'm told that customers are welcome to bring their laptops and work along side them. Once I realized I was in a coffee shop, I made my way to the back where I was greeted by Jaime, a friendly and skilled barista, who was quite knowledgable about the selections on offer. I had a dirty chai latte, and a delicious lemon scone. The coffee is fair trade, organic coffee, and the baked goods are also fair trade, organic treats. While waiting for my coffee and chatting with Jaime my attention was drawn to a wall of art. According to Jaime, the cafe likes to support local artists and allow them to exhibit their work. I think this excellent! So, in summary, a top notch, community-oriented coffee house owned by regular working Joes who were so passionate about coffee that they decided they wanted to build one in their office. This is my new favorite local coffee spot, and should I ever need to get away from my office, I may very well find myself camping here with my laptop and a dirty chai tea latte. read more

Great place for a morning coffee and light breakfast! My mom and I came here at 8:30 am to support local (next to Dunkin donuts which is a little cheaper but corporate) and really loved the space. For one, this part of town doesn't really have any early morning cafes so finding ispresso was a nice treat. The inside has cozy and ample seating for any purpose- chats, work, reading. My mom and I both got dirty chai lattes, which were awesome. I got an Everything bagel with cream cheese which was very nice, and my mom got an breakfast cookie she really enjoyed. 10/10 would recommend. Pay a little extra to support a local business and fam! read more

Their coffee is amazing! I love their latte! And inside the place is so cute! Every Saturday, they have artists outside promoting their work. You can buy their work. I think thats such a great way to show people their work while grabbing a cup of coffee. Also all their sandwiches are all so good!!! read more

This place is awesome and exactly what the neighborhood needed! Great coffee and service. The ambiance is a little bare but they just opened. They are organizing an event for local artists in November and December which is a great idea. Idea: put signs on Boulevard east in the morning when people are waiting for the bus - or even better, a coffee cart! Love this place :) read more

The biggest issue was the hostess, who was incredibly rude and completely unaccommodating. From the moment we arrived, the attitude was dismissive and made us feel like we were inconveniencing them simply by being there. What was especially frustrating was the complete lack of willingness to accommodate a reasonable request. Instead of trying to find a solution or even communicating with us in a helpful way, the hostess came across as annoyed and unwilling to make any effort whatsoever. I understand that restaurants can be busy and that not every request can be accommodated, but there is a huge difference between saying "we're unable to do that" politely and treating customers like they are a nuisance. Unfortunately, the experience at Zack's was the latter. There are plenty of restaurants in Hoboken that manage to be busy while still treating their customers with basic courtesy and hospitality. Based on this experience, I won't be returning to Zack's and would think twice about recommending it to anyone.

Only the large iced cups have their cute logo on them; I wish they used it consistently across all their cups. If I come back, I'd get a classic latte or iced tea instead. I've been to empire a few times over the past few years. I didn't feel like asking for it at the time but I will next time I come to try another iced latte with a different milk. Cookies and creme didn't really taste like it. I usually ask for less sweet and still taste the flavors elsewhere but here I didn't. I also don't love they still use almond breeze, barista blend almond milk tastes so much better--almond breeze milk just waters down coffee/lattes/etc doesn't really add to the beverage, kind of takes away from it. If you like to brew your own coffee and tea at home--this is your spot. They have a wide variety of coffee beans and tea offerings. Service was welcoming and quick. Prices are great for a large iced latte compared to the $8+ at surrounding coffee shops in Hoboken.
