Poor service, quality, and communication in customer satisfaction. If a customer is paying monthly dues for a service and is receiving less than average quality in their content, then why continue the service. My family enjoys watching streaming shows from iTalkBB, however there is plenty of aspects of this company that I need to point out. 1. When the streaming box is turned on, the quality of the image would change from color to black and white. I thought it might've been the television quality at first that is affected, although when I switch to a different channel, color resolution is normal. 2. When I asked for an agent that can speak English, it takes them hours to call me back before a technician is able to assist. Sometimes I wouldn't get a call back at all. 3. Be careful with the information you provide this company as I have received SCAM calls through this company which tells me that they have been selling customer information without our consent. 4. When I engage in conversation with an agent, I get the feeling that they dont even want to work with the customer to resolve their issue and making them feel like a total idiot telling them information that is absolutely rhetorical. Overall, I would give this rating a negative review. Please do better with training the staff to have better customer service and improve the quality of the service otherwise customers will be throwing money away like it's meaningless. read more

This service doesn't work at all. It has crazy amount of real ID verification requirements with you passport in Arcadia when you buy it and strange photo upload requirements once you are in China. On top of this, I bought the SIM card in May and I was just told (after I arrived in China) they won't be able to active the physical SIM card until mid July! They cut my original phone service weeks earlier than they should've (it was supposed to be timed for the same day as the Spectrum internet service), and when I told them that I called AT&T and AT&T said that they got the record of the line getting cut and transferred, iTalkBB kept denying it and saying they didn't. What sort of customer service is that? Either they can't read their own computer screens or they just don't want to admit they screwed up. I am very satisfied with the services for just $15 a month inducing TV and home phone with ItalkBB. Usually when you subscribe to a carrier, you focus on their quality of services not how much your paying for the service. Even if they charge you nothing for the services but with weak signal, poor customer service and everything, you wouldn't stay long with them. I joined I TALK BB in 2007 so I a an long time customer. I like your original program because my relatives can call from China even though I paid for the services here in USA without extra fee. The Plan is called 950 connected to my Home phone Land Line only for annual fee of $ 299. But since WE CHAT was very popular and I have been using it to communicate with my friends and relatives in China, I did not used this service but put it as an emergency service when needed. Due to ITBBs reputation and their constant calling and emaling me to ask how is the service and to tell me about promotions, I did not change company since 2007. Recently , my relatives tried to call me using ITBB lane line, it did not go through. They informed me only through WE CHAT. I cannot believed my most trusted ITBB 950 long distance service has been disconnected by ITalk BB for over 6 years ago since 2004 without asking the Permission of me the Customer but Continued to charged the same amount of $ 299 a year Totaling $ 1800 for 6 years. The Land Line Home phone should only be charged $ 5 per month or $ 60 per year in your programs. So I should have paid only $ 360 Total for the last 6 years. This is a serious violation of Customers rights and dishonesty. The manager on the phone I talked to, Ms Xie, told me No matter who I talked to will give me the same answer when I requested to talk to higher management after she was not able to help me too much . She only later agreed to give me 3 months of Free discounts at the end of the next 2 years Totaling only $ 149.50. This is so obviously unreasonable compensation of possible fraud treatment of customer. Are you treating Chinese customers like this as a Chinese company....? Are you proud of your business methods ? Every month I pay over $100 for the internet and phone services. I would like to admit it save me a lot since I signed up with ItalkBB. It cost only $9 to keep my home phone service even I did not use any more. Of course, the home phone service is required by the alarm system. The staff that works at Rowland Heights Store is very helpful and nice. She gave me many suggestions for connecting the profession security service, using by internet phone. I definitely reduce my monthly expenses. Now, I only pay around $50 for high speed internet and home phone service. Nice! read more

I have been trying to cancel this subscription service for a couple of months and have not been able to. Each time I called, I got a different reason why they couldn't process my cancellation. I paid for the Chinese TV subscription service for my aunt as a birthday present. She tried cancelling but they said since it wasn't on her credit card, she can't and I will need to do it. So I made my first call to them earlier this year. They said since it was before the contract's end date, I couldn't do so, which made sense, but they wouldn't allow me to pay up to that date and cancel when the contact was up. They said I had to call again when the contract was up to do so. So I called in today and they said that since it was under my aunt's name and I didn't have BB number (even though I provided the account name and zip code and they were able to look it up), I couldn't cancel. I will try again with the BB number, but am pretty doubtful and suspicious of this service. Unless you are okay with having the service for the rest of your life, I would recommend not subscribing in the first place. So if anyone has ever successfully de-subscribed from this service, please let me know how to do so. Thanks in advance for your help! read more

The sales there are really nice. And they offer 30 days free trial, if you don't like the services, you can cancel them in 30 days. It make sense. So I took their phone and TV boxes home and now I decided to keep them. Also they offer spectrum internet. My internet before was 60$/mo, after they changed my account, it's 45$/mo now. This whole system is a total scam! They smile and let you know you have a free 30 day trial and you can cancel and return the boxes. 3 days in, we figured out it's not going to work for us. We called 4 times the same day to try to cancel and return the box. Every time the operator said the cancellation line was busy. (How many people are cancelling???) We after the fourth call we left a call back number when the cancellation desk is open. They called back over 24 hours later. I saw it on callerID but when I picked up the phone, they hung up!!! WTF! So I called back again and they said I had hung up. What the heck?!?!? Good thing I started the return process now because I can see how people wait until the last minute to do so and your free trial runs out and they start charging for a service that doesn't work for me.
