I took my Lamborghini Urus to Italy Service for an oil change and worked with Brian. He seemed knowledgeable and that visit went fine -- or so I thought. After my most recent experience, I'm questioning what really goes on behind the scenes here. I later brought in my Mercedes for a small repair. Unrelated to this repair, when I picked up my car I was told I needed new brakes, rotors, and calipers -- and was quoted $13,200. That immediately didn't add up. Just a few months earlier (March), Fletcher Jones Mercedes had inspected the same car and confirmed all four brake pads were 8mm thick. The car then sat in storage from June until September, so there was no way that much wear could have happened. After getting this quote, I went back to Fletcher Jones to double-check. Sure enough, my brakes are still 8mm and in perfect condition. I drove back to Italy Service to ask about it, but their response was dismissive and unprofessional. This was clear attempt to sell unnecessary, extremely expensive repairs. After reading recent reviews on this business, I'm not the first, and I won't be the last that this business tries to scam. Started out 2021 needing to make a quick repair to my older Mercedes S Class. Not usually how one wants to start their year, but I'm glad the repair was a minor one. I had a coolant issue pop up on my dashboard. Brian and his technicians diagnosed the problem as a faulty part and educated me on how to locate the part to save some money. They even pointed out some minor functional upgrades like changing the arm struts on my front hood and rear trunk, and changing the aged/cracked cap that's on my windshield wiper reservoir. I can not thank you guys enough. I was quoted five grand by vw to fix my cars timing chain and other expensive parts so taking my car to you guys was the best decision I could have ever made. I bought a car from Carvana last month, the first day found some problems and they are working with SilverRock insurance which listed Italy Service as their prefer partner. So I went there the next day after I got the car from Carvana, to have the lights,door panel and trunk fixed. when I arrived , I got some guys help me fixed the lights and taken photos of the other problems to have these ordered from the dealer so I was told. after a month, went there 2 times got photos taken and many phone calls and messages, yesterday, I called again and Mel told me their boss said they will not fix my car as they only work with Maserati Porsche etc luxury cars. I was asking why after so many times of visit and calls, I was just told now? she says she left for 10 days, during this time nobody works with insurance , however this has been a month! She said she will call me after I called her 2 times from yesterday, neither of these time she has done what she said. I caused my Maserati Quattroporte engine to seize and Gary was very patient with me cause I could not afford the dealerships labor cost to replace the engine. Gary charged me half of what Towbin quoted and i kept my car there til i was able to get the money. it took a little long, but it was worth it at the end considering the price and the quality of work I got. I have many import cars such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston martin, Jaguar, Mercedes, BMW, Audi and they fix them all. Good mechanic is good mechanic and to top it off, they are under management of an honest owner, Brian. He is a great steward of this ship and since he took over, cars gets repair even faster and prices seems to have come down a bit too! I will give you an example, recently i acquire a Lamborghini and took it to dealer for inspection( $230) , they tell me my coolant hose is leaking and also the windshield wiper fluid hose is leaking. Knowing what they would have charged me, i took it to Brian and they fixed it in 10 seconds as it was just a hose clamp not tighten. Dealer sees it but would not do anything cause i paid to inspect , not to repair! These guys did the decent thing and turned a screw and tighten it and MIRACLE, leak stopped!
