This review is long overdue. I lived in Nevada for a time and during my time here I had the pleasure of being able to trust Sin City BMW with my 2004 M3. They were always able to quickly diagnose whatever needed fixing with my car. They did not push any repairs that didn't need to be done immediately. They left it up to me when I was ready. They always assured me that my car was safe and ready to drive after having a repair done with them. Brought my car here because I took it to another shop that was cheaper previously. The other shop installed the engine and didn't replace things that should've been replaced. When I picked up the car it was running really rough and they told me I needed the MAF sensor replaced. I ended up taking it to Sin City BMW, and it turned out they didn't even install it correctly. The engine had vacuum leaks and needed hoses and a motor mount replaced. The guys at Sin City BMW sent me pictures of everything that needed replacing and communicated every step of the way. You get what you pay for, and I'll only bring my car here from now on. read more

Ever since I was 16 years old, I have wanted an e30 BMW. It took me 25 years, but last month my dream of owning an e30 came true. In all my newbie excitement, I couldn't wait to take it to my first meet, which happened to be at Sin City BMW a few days after I got my car. After geeking out at all the e30's in one place (and a lot of other rare, cool, beautiful vintage Bimmers), my husband and I met Chris, the owner of Sin City BMW. I told him I was interested in getting my new purchase inspected and making sure everything was in good order (I was really hoping everything under the hood was going to be in as fantastic condition as the rest of the car). I brought the car in the following week and am I ever glad I did. There were some pretty big (no tensioner spring or pin for the timing belt, rocker shaft plugs installed backwards, oil leak....) repairs that were critical and needed to be completed before the car was safe to drive. Chris and his staff couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating, these guys know their stuff and run an honest auto repair shop. They know e30's inside and out, backward and forward. I love that they are enthusiasts and love these cars as much as their owners do and want to see as many of them preserved as possible. Chris kept in great communication while the car was in the shop, sending pictures of issues found and giving us an accurate estimate of repair costs. Then he even helped my husband pull off a surprise for me by getting the car done well before I thought it would be. I arrived home from work last night to find my beautiful Bimmer waiting for me! Have been commuting between Las Vegas and Lake Havasu for a number of years. This last trip my BMW 325ci was having transmission issues. I don't live in LV so I was looking for a shop to take a look at the car. Did my research and called a few places. Two shops called me back. Chris called me personally from his cell phone, and we discussed a few options, and he gave me some things to consider. Very upfront, very direct, very honest. His shop took a good look at the car and discovered more things wrong than right. He could have just piled on the work and run up the tab, but he gave me some things to consider that would save me time and money. I simply can't imagine anyone giving this place less than five stars. With these guys around, I never have to fear that my lack of knowledge of cars would be taking advantage of. My most recent visit here started at another mechanic shop, A friend of a friend swore up and down that Imperial Auto just couldn't be beaten. I humored the person and took my car in, Imperial Auto wanted to gut part of my car and rebuild it for a cost of 1700$ full stop, with no other options given. The next day my car was in front of Chris at Sin City BMW, he explained that they could do the same operation but break it into four different stages. They would gut a small part and rebuild it and test the car. It turned out that after the first stage my car was running better than I can remember. Instead of paying 1700$ and doing a bunch of unnecessary work on my car, I paid Chris less than 700$ and my car ran amazingly. Another example of going above and beyond normal service is when my car would not turn off. My car had a problem, the car key sometimes wouldn't catch the ignition and would just spin around until it finally latched and I could turn the car on. I was pulling my car into the garage and as I try to turn the car off, my key continues to spin around and won't latch on to the ignition to turn off and eventually pops out. So I'm sitting in the garage with the key in my hand while the car is running, so I immediately call Chris at Sin City BMW. He talked me through turning off my car without using the key over the phone. The greatest thing about this place is that I could drop off my car at Sin City BMW, and I would know that if all my car needed was a new sparkplug then that's all they would charge me. read more
