It is very good coffee but in my opinion the place is slow and inconsistent. I order a cappuccino normally, but the flavor varies. If you get here when there are no people in line, it is a great experience but while I understand taking the time to make a great drink but sometimes it is too much. Ordered prime rib, it was overly fat and the meat was really tough. Not worthy of the $45.00 price tag. The carrot cake was delicious but half the size it used to be. Over all our bill was $200.00 and it didn't come close to what it should have been presented. read more

This usually reliable restaurant really misfired tonight. They were overbooked and slammed, which showed up in the parking lot before we even walked in the door. Despite having a reservation, they made us wait. Once seated, our inexperienced server gave misinformation about one of the specials which led to a cascade of problems That the manager, to his credit, tried to solve. The careless kitchen sabotage him at every step delivering overcooked meat, and overall taking too damn much time. The prices on the menu suggest that this restaurant has pretensions of competing with the likes of capital Grille. The execution is more like outback or Applebee's and that's not intended to be a compliment. Kaluz and Houston's blow this away. Tonight it was like a weeknight at J Mark's only the last time I had a steak at J Marks it was 16 bucks. It's Triple here. By the way Tropical Acres blows all these places away for less money and a more professional attitude. read more

My family went here for my birthday dinner on our vacation in pompano! I have a deep love for prime rib so I was excited to see what this place was about. We started off with the chips and queso which were soo delicious. My fiancé and I got prime rib (mine- med rare, his-well done) and both were amazing!! I never am a fan of well done steak but they knocked his out of the park, which in my experience is very hard to do with prime rib. Of course, mine was amazing, only thing I could say is the au jus needed some more flavor to it but still good. Well we went there the other night. We got the grilled artichokes they were terrible they sent them back they were two halves. The next one is that came out or dry as a bone except for two of them they weren't half as bad. Not much on them and believe me I've grew up on them so they were terrible. I we got the French dip it was more bread than roast beef and the potatoes french fries was so crunchy and dry they were like Potato Sticks maybe they were. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the good food and excellent surface were unchanged, although the menu, perhaps slightly simplified. Our waitress, Tricia was pleasant and attentive. My Tuscan steak was delicious,; excellent quality and perfectly cooked. My partner's filet mignon was also prepared beautifully. there was a little problem, not worth mentioning, the staff immediately recognized it, and took care of it, and even compass it delicious carrot cake without question. This place is actually very good and an alternative to the one called like the city in Texas :)))) We had very good service, the food is fairly priced for the crazy stuff out there... ample place to sit and not a long wait. There is also good ambiance and the place is clean... As for food, I had the price rib that was juicy and tender... so good there, my wife had the tenderloin with French fries that was overcooked at the beginning and after they changed it (with a smile and apology) was very good as well. I love the food at J Alexanders but tonight I ordered Takeout of 2 orders of their Roasted Artichokes. This was my first and last time. Tgey actually charged me a "package fee". I didn't have it delivered. I drove all the way from LBTS to pick it up myself. I was appalled that they charged me $2.16 extra. Lord knows what the gas cost me to drive so far. It's not the amount but the fact that I brought my business to them and they charged $18 for 2 artichokes, which I was willing to pay, but when I called to order, NO ONE said anything about this extra fee. That to me is price gouging of the worst kind. They have lost me as a customer. I will go to Kaluz from now on. Their artichokes are better anyway. read more

First off we usually go to the plantation location but decided to go to this location. I ordered filet minion with loaded baked potato. The steak was so small and chewy. It was not good quality meat. I have ordered this before and had a piece of meat you can cut with a fork. This one I had a hard time cutting and I asked for medium rare and that definitely wasn't what I got. For the price I paid it wasn't worth it. My husband got the steak and fries and it was just ok... not a good quality of meat either. I think we will be going to another place to have a good steak next time. Pretty disappointed. Also our food took about 35 min to come out so the server brought us some stale bread in the meantime. read more
