    Vanilla Bourbon Bread Pudding

Just fine. Service was okay, had to ask for drink refills and plates, etc Special appetizer was delicious... Chicken saltimbocca was so salty it was inedible. Salmon succotash had good flavor, but salmon was overcooked. Sent back the chicken dish for Prosciutto sandwich, it was better. Bread pudding dessert was a great ending to an average meal. Maybe it was an off night, would come back to try some different items on the menu.

Went here tonight with my wife and daughter. Beautiful night and sat outside with a view of the entertainment. We ordered some drinks and I highly recommend their Tito's lemonade with muddled blackberries, delicious. We shared several dishes. Greek salad, roasted vegetables with salmon, marquerita flatbread and shrimp francese. All were great and plenty for the 3 of us. Prices on both drinks and food is very reasonable. Throw in the great ambience and entertainment and what's not to like.

We had a great meal here with friends. We'd made reservations and, on a weekend, I'd highly suggest you do the same as they were packed. We got there a bit early to discover that they had a happy hour in effect until 6 pm. We made sure to order drinks first while waiting for our friends to arrive. Luckily, they also came a bit early and were able to take advantage of the happy hour selections. The happy hour includes a small list of items that are marked on the menu. They are half priced. And drinks are at a discount as well. We started by sharing some of their deviled eggs. There were five to the order and they were topped with a delicious bacon "jam". We'd definitely get these again. We also shared several of their naan flat breads. We got their chicken barbecue one which was quite good. They got two different ones -- one with sausage (very good) and the margherita with fresh tomatoes and some cheese. The margherita was the only disappointment as it was fairly plain and quite bland. In addition, I ordered their hearts of palm salad from their regular menu. This dish was excellent with slices of palm, two types of black olives (one marinated; one not), cherry tomatoes cut in half, cucumbers, and tear shaped yellow and red tiny, sweet peppers. The salad was a lot after all the other options, but I was more than happy to bring half home for a later meal. For dessert, our friends shared the bread pudding. I'm not a fan of this type of dessert, but I did take a small taste and it was one of the better versions. They really liked it. Service was good, even with a couple minor glitches. And everyone was pleasant and friendly. We sat inside. We preferred this on a very hot night, and we had a low topped table. There is another inside wine room that has all high-topped tables. Outside around another bar (their 3rd one), the area was packed with people and the live music which began a bit later was quite loud. I'd definitely and "happily" come back here again -- especially for happy hour.

Notice they do not have any customers. What happened. Maybe folks found out about high prices

Had the brunch today. My wife and I seldom come on Saturday as we are working. Had. Delicious hash with soft egg. Great. The egg just flows into the hash Mary had the avacado toast and was well presented. Commented on how the avacado was sliced and placed in the toast Will try again soon All around good food and service

Came to Salute for happy hour with a few coworkers. Our waiter was a tall gentleman with tattoos. He was attentive without being overbearing and recommended items on the menu when asked. Restaurant looks on the smallish side but not small enough to be considered intimate. I had the deviled eggs and they were ok 3/5 but I think they tore my stomach up later, that might be tmi. I ordered the spinach and artichoke naan as well as the Mt Fuji Apple Martini. The drink was good, the naan was ok! They had a pretty nice crowd, I came around the holidays and they had what appeared to be a good size work party dining. Service was good, hostesses were friendly. I'm not anti-returning but I can't see Salute on permanent rotation, the quest for the perfect HH spot continues.

Visited the area from NJ and this place was close to where I was staying so decided to check it out and everything was amazing They had a Flavor Palm Beach special where you get 3 small plates for $40 and it was definitely worth it! I ordered the beet salad salmon pattys and the black garlic smash sliders and I was stuffed! everything was 10 out of 10 the sliders were def my favorite! The drinks here are just as good had the lavender lemons drop martini and a lychee martini and they did not disappoint! I also ordered the bread pudding which was good maybe a little sweeter than I would like but def good! JP was bartender/ server and he was the best. Very attentive and friendly. Cute place would visit often if I was from town.

My husband arrived and finally got the lady bartender's attention. I asked what kind of chardonnay or pinot grigio she had- she said she had no idea what was left because it was so busy. We wondered why she simply didn't look as it would only be 1-3 bottles! That's what bartenders do anyway as they do run out of a particular brand after a busy day! She said to pick a bottle in the wine rack adjacent to the bar, then she'd see if she had it cold. So my husband walked over and selected a chardonnay. After another 10-15 minutes we finally got her attention, and gave her the name of the wine we chose. She replied she only had Woodbridge left. She made no apologues, just complained about how hard the day had been. Hey, we all had a bad day because of the hurricane and that's when good customer service is even more important! What on earth? Well over a half hour of waiting and all along, the only white wine left was the house wine? She had to already have known what she had in the cooler anyway. Very strange service. I realize it was very busy for her, but most guests were harried and had been sitting in the lobby for hours waiting for rooms. Why not just check her cooler and we'd have been on our way. We left, went to Duffy's;they had just closed due to curfew.

OK this place has an energy. From the sweet pretty blonde hostess to the server and the staff, it just feels like there's an energy there. I also don't usually get into food. I'm not a foodie - I'll spend a lot for a good meal, but I generally don't get too excited about many restaurants. I'm excited about this one. if you're gonna go there for 1 meal, get the MEXICAN STREET CORN and the CHICKEN AND WAFFLES. We always get the corn and our server even gave us little wet naps to clean up with (clutch). And I absolutely love their CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES - three warm large chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk which was only maybe $10? Crazy - I've also heard happy hour is amazing but I work and can never get there. This time I got the SEAFOOD SAUTEE and it was one of the best seafood dishes I had. Looking back, I'd recommend asking to replace the potatoes with shrimp if you can. They were so good. Our server Natalia was great and said the shrimp is from Argentina.. My wife had the PORK COLLAR - I thought it was good but I didn't think it was as good as my seafood. Our daughter had the burger - really solid and she couldn't finish it. Bonus for Dad. The last thing I would say is that this place isn't gonna be for everyone because it's noisy - probably because the bartenders serve great drinks! There was one woman at the bar that was laughing incredibly loud (uggg) but the staff couldn't have done anything about that. If you want to go there and have a really quiet sort of like laid back meal or you get triggered easily or something - SIT OUTSIDE. Otherwise, you're gonna hear music, people talking, laughing, and having fun. That also makes it great for families - we had a couple of kids sitting right beside us. So this is one of our favorite restaurants now in the Palm Beach Gardens area. Highly highly highly suggest you check it out get but GET A RESERVATION - this place is busy. I hope this helps!

12:30om, 3/18/2026…read more Ambience = Steady, lunch crowd in the bar. Yet not phonetic or chaotic. Good, chill vibe. 4-5 high top tables for two. At the bar- nice personal space and hooks for purses. Nice place to perch my feet and store my obnoxiously long golf umbrella. Perfect atmosphere for a chilly, rain date lunch with spouse. Balance of business professionals, "ladies who lunch", and a few couples. The bar reminds me a of nicer Las Vegas resort hotel bar. One TV showing Golf TV. Food = We've eaten at J.Alex since their soft open moons ago. The dishes are always consistent quality. Today hub's was jonesing for a French dip. I was craving their Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich. We both order their shoestring fries. We're slowly enjoyed each other's company and our lunches. We immensely enjoyed our meals. Service = Good. Our bartender didn't offer his name, and we weren't on our game to ask his name. However, he did a good job. He quickly came over and put down black napkin placemats with napkin rolled utensils and offered water while we skimmed the menu. Beverages were served quick. Food order quick and complete. We never had to ask for extra sides as he brought them all out with the meals- ketchups (If you like an abundant serving, ask when you place your order. They use small 2 oz stainless steel ramekins.), horseradish sauce, a side of blue cheese (to dip my fries in ), and my Nashville hot sauce on the side. Check came quick too. We ask and learned that they do not offer a Happy Hour. However, they offer very large pour martinis with a side car waiting for you for the price of one. He said late afternoons they have very happy and loyal regulars! We've been dining at "J.A." since their soft open many moons ago. They have always offered well trained staff. We've been here as parties of two, parties of up to 8, and as times with infants, to toddlers, to elementary school age peeps to seniors who many need a little extra consideration with seating. J.Alexander's has always offered great service. However, for some with low vision may find the back of the restaurant a little dark. Bathrooms are clean. There is an outside, screened over bar area as well. My extra bullet points: Value = Yes! High quality, consistent food, great staff and fair price for the experience. The BIG question: Will we return? Yes! We are every other month "regulars". During COVID, they were able to pivot their business to keeping their doors up keeping people employed and offered service to the community. HIGH GIVE! We'll be back. Cheers! Tip: Be sure to make reservations especially during holiday weekends, PGA golf classic weekends and "Season" for tables. If they're booked, Bonefill Grill is directly next door as "back up". Get there early for parking as the lot fills up fast for dinner with several restaurants sharing the same lot.
