Customer Service is not these peoples area of expertise. Almost every time I order 5 out of 7 times my order is wrong. -no dressing for the salad - no sauce or cheese on the sandwich (which has happened multiple times) - no drink, but not only did he forget to give it to is he completely forgot to get it from the restaurant. So I had to wait an extra 25 minutes just for a drink. This place either has incompetent workers or their employees don't know what 'team work' is. Discombobulated and disheveled individuals. This is definitely my favorite pizza place in town. It can be louder than desired at times, but in general it is a great place to take your family when you just don't feel like cooking. For Durango, it's not the most expensive place either. At least, the quality matches the expense. They have a bar on the other side with a pool table, plus many other arcade games (although pool is my favorite). Definitely a "locals" spot! Great place and the staff is really nice too. read more

Traveling through Durango and ordered J Bo for pickup for the family. Happy we did! Ordered an 18" Italian sausage. Thing was huge and the sausage was plentiful and tasty. All of us were happy. Wish we would have eaten there as the place had a really cool vibe. Bar on one side, restaurant on the other. Plenty of interaction items for anyone looking for more than a conversation (pool table, multiple pinball machines, etc..). Will go back as a family the next time in town. read more

The best food in Durango. My family and I go to j Bo's at least once a week. The ribs are the best I've ever had and the ranch dressing is homemade and it's also the best I've ever had. I know I sound repetitive but the jalapeño poppers are also the best I've ever had. You'd be crazy not to eat here. Hands down my favorite pizza/rib shop not only in Durango but also beats out every pizza joint I've ever been to on the East coast where I'm from. If I could rate 0 stars I would. The food is mediocre at best, potato wedges were cold and stale, and delivery took over an hour to get to me 4.5 miles down the road. They INSIST that their delivery cutoff is the Durango Walmart. Even though their site claims that they deliver in Durango. I ordered from the middle school literally RIGHT NEXT DOOR to Walmart, and they refused to deliver it to us. We had to stop and leave work, just to drive across the parking lot and get my order. No real explanation as to WHY they couldn't just make a left to deliver instead of a right into the Walmart parking lot. So naturally, no tip. Why tip for something I had to do myself anyways? Not to mention SOMEONE put their damn fingers o. My straw cause it was delivered with an uncovered straw already in the drink. We also received NO forks for the salad, NO napkins, and NO receipt! Needless to say, their service is absolute crap. They can't even compromise a couple hundred feet to make their service better. No effort from them, none given from me. NEVER going back. read more

I love JBos! Used to frequent the place all the time and moved away. My sister was getting married and at the last minute her rehearsal dinner plan fell through. Hands down, J Bo's is my favorite place to eat pizza in Durango. The servers are always friendly as well. Their pizza never disappoints.

We love going to J. Bo's for football season because there's always a good, rowdy group of football folk hanging out, including the often entertaining bartenders. The food's not bad either. Of course, we went outside of football season this last time, and the bartender was a total flop. She's this cute, edgy looking blonde thing that would fit right in if it weren't for her bad attitude. The music was blaring, but whatever, it's a bar and there's lots of rowdy people and no one seems to mind. The beer was basically on the cold side, like a good, Colorado-comfortable swimming pool temperature, but not necessarily chilly and deliciously cold as it should be, like a "I triple dog dare you to just jump in the creek" temperature. Probably not her fault. Moving on. She replaced my coldish beer with one in a frosty glass, which makes me think first, "Well why the hell didn't you give me a frosty glass to begin with?" The joint had some folks but it wasn't packed. Second, a frosty glass with coldish beer is lipstick on a pig. We noticed that other people had a hard time getting drinks from her, too, but she basically ignored us. I asked for our check, she gave it up sans decorum and after a brief chat with someone at the end of the bar. I got rid of some change and tipped her more than 20% in whole bills and she was pissed. Didn't look at me, just barked a quick, nasty "thanks", as if I had been cheap or as if she deserved way better. IT'S 5:30 AT A SPORTS BAR AT THE VERY EDGE OF TOWN. Looks can be deceiving! Although the restaurant itself may not be the most impressive, my husband and I order pizzas from here all the time. We opt for to-go or delivery because we live close by. Where do I begin? Ordering 1 sandwich and 1 fry, let me repeat that: one sandwich that doesn't have to be heated and isn't, and a side of fries. Nothing major, nor difficult. The time was placed at 5:45 and arrived at 7:38. I had to call and verify if the order was even existent and coming at the hour and thirty region and the saddest part may have been the woman on other side saying it's been ready for 15 minutes. The staff is friendly, the place is laid back. That's it. Several years ago the ribs were pretty good, not anymore. The last three visits over the past two years have been really disappointing. I'd be ashamed to serve the ribs. They are either undercooked or dried out and over cooked, masked with sauce. We went yesterday and they were the worst ribs I've ever had. Guys, If your not going to pay attention to your ribs, just pressure cook them and add sauce. At least it they'd be tender. The pizza's ok, nothing special. Too bad. read more

Friendly local place, the philly was bomb! Liked it more than Phillies I've had in Philly!
