J Henry will always be fine dining, whether it's lunch, sitting at the bar, or dinner. It's been around for many years, and it is the same each time I come back. Somehow, they have managed to keep that air of sophistication and professionalism. The dining experience never disappoints. I have dined here for dinner and lunch. The steaks are the best I've ever had. But this day I stopped in for lunch. I ordered the burger and my favorite, the mushrooms. The burger is humongous with a layer of cheese and two huge strips of bacon. It's a good burger! Now, the mushrooms, as I said before, are a favorite; they have a nice layer of skin with a soft bite, and the sauce is one of the best. I think everyone should order the mushrooms for the appetizer. But really, you can't go wrong with any of the items on the menu. The only way you can go wrong is if you don't stop by and experience the J Henry's way of dining!

Excellent food! Ordered boom boom shrimp & fried green tomatoes. More than enough for a meal and got a to go box. Lower lightening environment and classic music (Frank Sinatra) playing softly in the background. Arrived at a time they weren't busy and had no issues with service. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal!

Chopped steak, with mushrooms and onions, french fries and squash casserole.

Chopped steak with mushrooms and onions, and gravy, french fries, with squash casserole. The squash casserole was good but it had a lot of long under cooked onions.

The restaurant gave me small town "we don't know you but I guess it's okay that y'all eat here". My Greek Salad with Chicken was good but just a regular salad with roka cheese. My soup of the day was tomato base with chicken. It tasted okay although I can't remember the name. My fried green tomatoes were good but I don't understand why they put roka cheese on top. I wish the place had more light bulbs. Staff was very friendly.

It's a bit pricey but the quality of food is good. Service is hit or miss but mostly good. Worth a try.

The restaurant itself seemed like the pretty standard LongHorn experience that you would expect. We went on the later side on a week night and were able to get a table for the 4 of us pretty immediately. Our service was great and quick. We ordered the Redrock Grilled Shrimp with a Caesar salad and broccoli, LongHorn Salmon with a house salad and sweet potato, a Renegrade Sirloin with a Caesar salad and a loaded baked potato, and an extra side of Steakhouse Mac and Cheese. All of our food was yummy and the servings were plenty food for all of us. Also they asked how my mom wanted her salmon cooked and I've never heard anyone ask that question before! She got it medium-well and thought that was perfect. Parking at this location is super easy with a big attached parking lot that's free. All in all, we had a great experience.

They served a glass of Chardonnay in a champagne flute that was odd. Salad seemed to just be mixed lettuce out of a bag. I was so impressed walking inside and seeing the murals and artwork. The colors were so vibrant that the murals looked like they were coming to life. I asked the hostess if I could go upstairs to look around, and she said, "Of course." She also told me they have live music nights on the second floor, too. I finally came back down and ordered the Black and Blue Burger, which has the best crumbled blue cheese on top as well as onion rings on top with a side of Brussels sprouts. We also ordered the Turkey Wrap, which was a spinach wrap filled with oven-roasted turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and Cajun aioli. Now who thought of that! It was so good, as was my juicy burger and Brussels sprouts. So, we decided to split our lunch in half, sharing half with each other. Plus, the portions are so huge that it's easy to share. We took our time eating because each bite had so much flavor. I must say that this place is truly one of a kind, offering the best food, service, and atmosphere.
