It's hidden kind of on the main drag/side street but it's right in the CVS plaza and they will probably not stay hidden for long after this post.

Great ice-cream -- Pathetic Customer Service and Managers who Don't Respond I ordered and paid for a birthday cake over the phone. When my daughter went to pick up the cake, the server told her that she needed to pay for the cake. My daughter told her I already paid for the cake with my credit card, but they insisted she had to pay. When she returned with the cake, the cake didn't even have happy birthday written on it as I had requested. I called the store. I told the supervisor my credit card was charged AND my daughter also paid for the cake in cash at the store. She said that only a manager could give me a credit and they promised the manager would get "right back to me". Two hours went by -- no call from the manager. I again called the store, to hear that they would have the manager call me on Monday (2 days later). Monday comes and goes -- again no return call, so I went to the store. The manager was not there so they could not credit my account nor give me my cash back. AGAIN, they tell me the manager will call me. Three days have gone by. No credit... no manager. No apology! JP LIcks may have great ice cream but customer service is so much more important. I will NEVER buy a cake from them again, nor will my 2 daughters! I have since heard from several people that "they never get the orders right over the phone". So I'll go back to my old ice-cream shop where I always get great homemade ice-cream, but more importantly, excellent customer service! read more
