    drive through menu

i only ordered through drive though, so i can't speak to the interior of the restaurant workers at this store are usually pretty friendly, but the intercom can make it hard to hear them sometimes. i usually ask for extra sauce and they offer it for no extra charge (the ranch here is great. the good good sauce tastes like chik fila sauce) we ordered a mega munchie meal for a movie marathon. i always have difficulty giving a proper rating to fast food places because the food is typically more greasy and oily and tastes like well, fast food. if i was completely objective, i think the food would be rated lower, but i think that is a little unfair considering that i chose to come to a fast food establishment. i've gotten the mega munchie meal before but in the past they had jalapeño poppers instead of the popcorn chicken. i think the chicken was a nice substitution, since it doesn't feel as oily as the jalapeño poppers. The box itself is a little disappointing since it seems like they skimp out a bit in the fries and popcorn chicken. My favorite is usually the mini tacos, although they are an acquired taste since the meat is kind of like a paste. Overall, you get exactly what you expect from jack in the box. I think their food is consistently "solid" for a fast food establishment, with my main complaint being that the food is a bit greasy and they skimp on portions sometimes

Shotgun Jack iced mocha. First sip was bomb diggity! July 2020.

^^^Solid 3.5 review for this Jack.^^^ I usually like to get a chicken sandwich combo no mayo. Went here to grab a diet soda and they had run out that time and comped me an iced mocha. NO difference. Nice. The only complaint I have about this place I usually UPGRADE to the curly fries and they have given us just regular potato fries. The food is usually good, but can be REAL greasy, what did we expect. lol. All and All we pass by for lunch when in the area and get our grub on. Enso#50 +- Jack! Free sauces. Drive thru. Tres leches w/ strawberry. Iced mocha! RA. RA. RA. i-85. Hecka salty greasy. :'( _Silent sirens beaming inside my head!

Chicken Teriyaki Bowl (wheres all the chicken?)

Been here a few times and they always give terrible portions on the teriyaki bowl, do not recommend ordering from here

    Bathroom

Horrible place, so unorganized, dirty tables, dirty bathrooms! If the bathroom is so dirty just imagine how they handle the food in the kitchen area!!! Disgusting

The crispy chicken taste awesome compared to McDonald's spicy chicken. Another good choice for fast food place.

Sometimes you really just want to get a Jr. bacon Cheeseburger. Or one of the breakfast Jacks. So good. Even if you aren't hungover.

I used to love my sourdough jacks until one day I bit into a hard, tendon-like chunk. Never again. Never ever again.

Looking back, I think it's time to give credit where credit is due. These days, I regularly order the Havasu Salad with salmon, and it's fantastic. The portion is enormous, the ingredients are fresh, and it's one of the few salads that actually feels like a complete meal. The salmon pairs perfectly with it, and I always leave full and happy. One order mistake from 16 years ago shouldn't outweigh years of consistently good food. If you're a salad lover, definitely give the Havasu Salad a try.

With over 900 reviews, I had high hopes--and I'm glad to say my meal delivered. Food (4.5 stars) + The two-taco combo (about $13) was a win for me. I chose carnitas and adobada (that saucy red mole-like one!). The adobada was rich, flavorful, and unique, while the carnitas, although a bit dry, had a nice smokiness. The sweet bite of the onions really balanced the tacos--maybe a touch more cilantro and onions next time. + Kat's carnitas burrito was bright red and juicy (I found it perfect, even if she thought it was a tad dry). I think they put some similar yummy sauce as the adobada. Generous portion, meaty, and delicious. + Will's carne asada quesadillas were cheesy and tender. He found them bland, but I thought they were fine. Plus, the generous guac portion (even if it needed a squeeze of lime) was a nice touch. + The salsa bar deserves a shout-out. Mixing the spicy corn-bean blend with hot salsa and pico de gallo? That's a flavor bomb right there. - Carne asada nachos, while generous, fell flat. There was also quite a generous portion of guacamole along with sour cream. My only complaint is the meat lacked that smokiness or char of most asadas. It felt bland--almost taste boiled. I took the meat home to doctor it up! Service/Ambiance (4 stars) + I put this under service because I'm a fan of the unexpected and getting chips with our meal was a nice touch. Bonus Star! ~ You order at the counter, grab your own drinks. Staff were minimal but efficient enough for what it was. It's casual--not full service, but they get the job done. ~ Ambiance is simple--nothing fancy. You've got a salsa bar, a drink station, and it's very much a "grab a table" kind of place. Overall, for a quick, affordable sit-down Mexican spot, it hit the spot for me. My friends rated it 3.5 stars, but I loved it. I'd come back for the carnitas burrito and salsa bar alone!

Everything is fresh and has great flavor. There's a small self-serve salsa station. The green sauce had the perfect taste without being too spicy. We tried the carne asada and the tripas. Tripas were perfectly crunchy (we made a point to ask for extra crispy). We also had a quesadilla, nothing to write home about, but the portion was very generous! The agua Fresca was also so good and not sweet. Service was fast and friendly. We came in on what seemed like downtime, so not sure how fast they operate when its bus.

I was disappointed that they were out of lengua since I'm not typically a fan of the other meats. The times I've had asada, it's usually dry, but I ordered it anyway not knowing what else to get and holy smokes was it good! It was so tender and flavorful that it changed my entire opinion of asada. It's really that good! Their chips were crispy and not stale and I just love their self serve salsas. It's usually a hit or miss at Mexican Restaurants, but it's great here! Unfortunately, it seemed like the employee did not want to be there and I felt a bit uncomfortable but the food well makes up for it.

I eat here about 3 times a week and I'm slowly trying all the different types of meat. I love the tender shredded chicken and the Asada is OMG juicy chunks of flavorful steak! Not at all like the tough overcooked and thin meat scraps you get at other taquerias. The pork Pibil is similar to the shredded chicken in texture and wonderfully flavored as well. I got the Tortilla soup on a rainy day and it hit the spot. Making me look forward to more rainy days! The inside is decorated so cheerfully and my favorite is the little piñata planters on each table! So adorable! I ordered some delivery for my parents tonight and they were blown away by their chile Rellano and enchiladas Suizas. They absolutely loved the chips and freshly made guac too! Two more satisfied long term customers! I love that they always start my Horchata the second I walk in. It's creamy and delicious a never has that gritty texture at the bottom. Yum! So glad I was introduced to this place. It's definitely on the top of my list when I'm in the mood for Mexican food. Oh and if you like spicy ask for the orange sauce! The nice man warned me and it definitely has a kick, but if you can hang with the heat the flavor is superb!!!
