As soon as I walked in the guy kept tryna force things on me that I didn't want over and over again and when I'd let him know that I'd like something else he just wouldn't listen and would suggest other things to me. This is absolutely the worst Jack In The Box I have ever taken my family to. James, the shift supervisor on duty has no control of this restaurant. He has told the cashier multiple times to stop taking orders. They are so far behind, currently I have been waiting for 25 minutes for a dine - in order. James is confrontational and refuses to apologize for the inadequacy of his shift. He started to help cook, NEVER WASHED HIS HANDS! Just remember that you are what you eat. If you want to consume mass quantities of fat, salt and sugar and eat tasteless, stale food in a filthy environment then this is the place for you. I've been here twice. I went back a second time because I could not believe that this place could be that bad and stay in business. It was consistently bad. The secret to their success is that they are right by the highway exit and after being stuck in traffic for 25 miles coming north from Oceanside some people must be starving to death and are ready to eat roadkill. Actually, the roadkill would probably taste better and be more nutritious. By the way, I met the lady who is behind the counter in the photos both times I was there. She was very nice. Food tastes the same and consistent as all other Jack in the Box restaurants. Be careful entering and leaving the parking lot. It is tiny and dangerous. Don't let your kids walk in parking lot without parental supervision. People bring their road rage there. Don't park next door at Shell if Jack in Box parking lot is full. You will get towed. Drive thru is crazy too. Customer Service is average. read more

How is it possible to screw up on an order placed inside the business? Not even though drive thru. I mean how do you miss giving the 5 PC churros and still have the audacity to charge me 1.99 for them? Didnt even get a receipt for my order, yet after buying 3 combos and being charged $18.19 it doesnt surprise me. What does surprise me is that this is a location in San Fucking Clemente, I thought this is a Upper Class area, guess only the houses not fast food... Plus the bathrooms had no towels, the air drying machine didnt work. guess as long as there is water and soap who cares about drying your hands huh?! Small parking lot. Right off the highway so everyone goes here. Long lines. The woman's bathroom smelled like poop. The stall I went into literally had toilet paper with poop on it in the trash. The trashes were over flowing. The restaurant itself had trash and drinks split everywhere. I walked right out after using the restroom. I would never eat there or stop there again! read more

This Jack-in-the-Box is a nightmare and a potential health hazard. I'm used to getting relatively consistent food from the various Jack-in-the-Box's I eat at on occasion but this place takes the cake for serving the worst food in history. I ordered seven stuffed jalapeño poppers, three tacos and an eggroll. The three tacos were not crispy and we're stale, limp, soggy and greasy. This is the first time this has ever happened to me at at Jack-in-the-Box what is wrong with you people? I swear by God that the jalapeño poppers and the eggroll had been sitting around for hours only to be dropped into the grease to reheat them. The jalapeño poppers were so hard I could've scratched glass with them and the eggroll tasted like it was from the day before. I thought that the motto at Jack-in-the-Box was "we don't make it until you order it"? What it should say is "we don't reheat three hour old crap until some sucker drives up to the drive through". The people in this restaurant should be ashamed of themselves because they are going to make somebody violently ill or God forbid kill somebody serving old rotten food like they do. This place seems to be a hit or miss but more so a miss especially late in the morning for the morning crowd who are coming or going to work around 5am. Waited out front watching a few employees fumble around the business inside like mindless zombies. Not only were the employees doing nothing but they also had the drive thru closed for about an hour for what seemed to be no specific reason. The worst part is they seem to do this almost every day from what I've read. While waiting over 20 minutes to see if they were closed for a specific reason I watched about 12 cars drive in and out because they were closed. While watching those cars drive out there was also 4 others in the parking lot waiting to get a quick bite. I can only imagine that the store owners would be upset knowing this store denies sales with a perfectly good staff wasting away inside fiddling their thumbs. Food is sub par most of the times but there are those times you can get a decent meal that doesnt taste like the greaser can next to the dumpster. While finishing up this review four more potential customers had to leave because the drive through was still closed lmao. Looks like they need new employees and management to avoid losing out on the what could have been an easy hundred dollars in sales. read more

I went to this Jack in the Box in San Clemente California on October 2nd 2018 there was a dirty clear plastic material in my Sourdough Jack sandwich. I imagine that accidents can happen, however I'm not sure about this. A couple of nights before I was there and was asked to park in the handicapped spot waiting for two tacos. There was no one behind me and I think that they were asking me to move for their timer that tells management how fast they move the customers out. I let them know that it's not legal to park in a handicap spot and that handicap people need that and got a very rude response back. I didn't think of it again because I was tired tonight I ordered some food and the same person was there and I bit into disgusting plastic that was dirty in my sandwich. I was not in the vicinity but called and there is a machine that will not answer. I tried to leave feedback on the website but it will not allow name address and send. Not a good experience at all. Disgusting. I don't know what that dirty plastic was and what was all over it, but it was in my mouth being chewed before I spit it out. I'm very unhappy. read more

I went here for a late midnight snack/dinner after a football game and I was very disappointed. It took 35 minuets for me to get through the drive through with only 4 cars ahead of me. Not only was I waiting for a very long time I got the wrong order. They gave me an egg with cheese and potatoes that was the grossest thing I have ever seen. Not rating that cuz we all know it sucks, is bad for you, only Americans find it to be so amazing etc etc. Every time I've gone (hangover in place) I order the #6 meal I believe (jumbo Jack with cheese). They ask me....would you like that with cheese.......duh, it says with cheese. This last time I said, yes it comes with cheese. Got home NO CHEESE. Seriosly? Drove back and blah blah. Haven't been to jack in the box in 10+ years but tonight was a late night at work so I thought I'd get something quick.... now I know why it's been 10+ years since my last visit.... took 20 minutes to get a chicken sandwich and fries. The service here was horrible. My experience was not meeting this establishments standards. When we arrived it was pretty busy, we knew we had to wait alittle which was fine with us. However the manager took our order and after we placed our order and sat down we notice the receipt stated something different. I went back to the manager where i picked up our food and asked for my beverage cup she said i didnt order a combo. I told i did place a order for a combo and you decided to place it under a basic platter. I told her i ordered correctly what i wanted and that she did otherwise. Its not my fault she cant handle having a busy hour. She asked me if i still wanted a drink, by then i was upset and i didnt want to make a scene or cause unnecessary attention this could have been all avoided and i could have had a great experience if she as the manager could have controlled the experience since i got there.. I go back to our seats, to only find out she gave me two knifes and no fork.... i go back to ask for a fork where she gave me that look like what now.... ive gone to several jack n the box. It's a typical Jack-in-the-box. Can't beat the prices. I love the Tacos and the loaded potatoes with sour cream. The service is fast, and the staff is friendly, despite the fact that they are usually crowded. I like the fact that you can order off of the entire menu any time of the day or night (breakfast sandwiches at dinner and hamburgers for breakfast. It's right off the freeway so a lot of people stop to eat lunch and go to the bathroom. The parking lot is small, but there is a drive through. read more

All you people complaining about the staff make me laugh. This location is too small, under-equipped, and understaffed for how busy it is, and new employees are not trained well. The service can get bad when it's busy, but blame the franchise owner, don't blame team leaders Isaac and James. I used to work there, and I know for a fact that they work their asses off, and they genuinely care about providing great service to people who aren't jerks. If you go there when it's really busy and expect your order to be ready quickly, you're an idiot. And complaining to corporate won't do anything.
