The marinated olives, peppers and mushrooms were served with crispy wedges of pizza dough. It was a great introduction for what was to come. The chopped salad had globs of fresh mozzarella, tangy marinated artichoke and salty slivers of salami. That's my kind of salad. For pizza, I got the friendly fella. I like mushrooms. Service is very good but the pizza is so under cooked. It's brick oven pizza, how can you under cook it? The dough is too soft in the middle and clearly not cooked long enough. The wings were good. Tell the cooks to cook the pies longer to get that nice crisp crust underneath the pie. read more

Well, the food and atmosphere were okay; but I was surprised and disappointed to discover that they added a 3.99% "credit card surcharge" to my bill. I presume that they disclosed this on the menu, even though I looked pretty extensively at the menu deciding what to order; but even if they'd disclosed this charge in 20-point type, it still would have lowered my opinion of the restaurant. I can understand a restaurant's frustration with the credit card fees they pay, but just add it to the prices. Don't try to make your prices look lower than they actually are. read more

So we waited till Thursday when it was on special. We ordered an antipasto salad & 2 orders of spaghetti & meatballs. The salad was not at all good. The dressing was thick & sweet like syrup. The peppers were soggy & the meat was just not good. The breadsticks were delicious. The meatballs lacked seasoning & the spaghetti was I ... interesting. I ordered to go at the door. Ordered a Margarita pizza, Caesar salad and gelato. Total was $23 dollars with tax for a small pizza. The gelato was six dollars. Got home as I live in the neighborhood and the pizza was burnt on the bottom. Every bite was a flavor of burnt toast. The salad was not fresh with the caesar dressing that tasted like mayonnaise. My gelato was not a full scoop and had something in it that looked like a string of some sort. I will never be back to this restaurant. I ended up throwing it all out and now having to make dinner. It is hard to find authentic pizzeria where people actually care about the quality of their product. Pizza at Madison at the causeway is ten times better. Love this place !!! Clean and adorably decorated and of course has amazing pizza. We had the 3 Little Pigs which is a combination of prosciutto, soppressatta and pepperoni and Il Gondoliere an anchovy pizza both of which were fresh and delicious !! The staff was friendly and engaging they all followed covid mandates. Everyone was wearing masks . the menu can be found online reducing the amount of person to staff contact . the restaurant is clean and inviting !!! We sat inside but they offer outdoor seating as well. After dinner we wandered into the bottle shop next door where they sell wines, coffee, teas and various other items. It is a wonderful companion to the restaurant and we ended up purchasing chai tea and left inspired to return to buy gifts for the upcoming holiday season and most definitely will be back for the main attraction the fantastic pizza !! read more

So I went here with my girlfriend and her child plus another couple and their kids. This was supposed to be a great place with even better food. This was not the case today. We ordered a pizza minus cheese because of my lactose intolerance, it came with cheese. We ordered 10 wings, mango habanero, and cooked twice. We got 10 wings, buffalo, and they barely had any color. I ordered a Smoked Old Fashioned, and it came with a long blonde hair wrapped around the garnish cherry. This was very disappointing, the manager took the drink off the tab, but in reality, the whole meal should've been comped, due to the waitresses inability to get the order right, the kitchen's disregard of how we wanted our food, and the bartender who's hair got wrapped around the cherry. My husband and I had lunch there for the first time today and have to say that I now have a new addiction. Had their pepperoni with salami and prosciutto pizza and OMG ... it was so delicious. Food is wonderful but service was terrible. Our server spilled a glass of water on one of our diners. this happens, but She did not come back to help clean up and never apologized. She never got orders right. She tried to charge my friend for 6 margaritas when she only had two. She lost my credit card and I had to go find it. After talking to the manager you would think that they would give my friend who had a full glass of water spilled on her glass of wine or something. The manager just kept saying I'm sorry I'm sorry. Thank you for a great experience at your restaurant. My father is in a wheelchair and wanted to sit outside and enjoy the music, but your patio only has high top tables. The waitstaff brought out a low table and chairs to accommodate him and our family. Little things like that mean so much. The service and food was also excellent.
