Stopped in a couple weeks ago for a late lunch. The place me and my friends were going to go to was closed on Sunday's and didn't know that ahead of time, so they suggested Jack's. I haven't been here since it was Crisp Pizza Bar. We took seats at the bar and one thing I noticed since it's been Jack's from Crisp it was bright in there and not in a bad way. When it was Crisp I remember it being a little dark in there but the area was well lit with it being sunny out. While waiting for our food, I decided to get some pull tabs and bam! A $500 winner and along with two $1 winners! I decided to go with the hand breaded tenders because my friend recommended it and these come with 2 sauces. I went with teriyaki and I believe the other one was a Korean Nashville. When our food arrived, I tried the Korean sauce first to see how it was. Honestly, I'm sorry but really wasn't a big fan of it. However, the teriyaki didn't disappoint. The tenders were crispy and flavorful along with the hand cut fries. After I finished eating, I went over to the claw machine that had White Claws in them. They were empty for obvious reasons, but it was a $1 a play. It was my lucky day because not only did I score one, but got 2 cans! My overall experience was good, but I would say even though the tenders and fries were good, but $14.95 is a wee little on the pricey side. I would come back to try other things on the menu and try my hand at the claw and pull tab machine again lol.

Chicken bacon chipotle wrap + fries = hit the spot Super good & filling: perfect spot for game day vibes, good energy, and drinks 4/5 Loved the lively atmosphere, friendly staff, and overall hype vibe for watching the game or just hanging out!. The service was okay though, we pretty much had to go up and order and ask for everything.

Chris is the best bingo host!! Come on Wednesdays for bingo!! He brings the best vibes and gets the crowd extra rowdy!!

This is a great bar. One of the single best bartenders I have ever met. She was engaging, funny and super informative. We stayed hours longer than we were planning because of the customer service. This is also a huge property and smoker friendly upstairs in the lemonade stand. I will always come back to Jack's. The tv situation upstairs is perfect for packer games!

A nice sport bar that is located in heart of the party of Milwaukee. Nice bar, good food, drinks, and great music is find on this place. Came here as a suggestion one of my friends. We share the Wisconsin Cheese Curds a must have! definitely a great option to share a cross few people this is served with ranch dipping sauce. Try tossed in house buffalo or tiger sauce. Great taste, very crunching, fill of cheese definitely delicious. For my main courses a order the Club Sandwich a staple of every American diner! Cracked pepper turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and chimichurri mayo stacked on three slices of your choice of sciortino's on wheat bread with Tater Tots on the side. The sandwich was super delicious super filled of the item mention all stuff was super fresh and the taste was super bueno.

Best burger I've ever had. Super great service, got greeted with smiles. We went on a packer game day and it had great energy!

Jack's is always a great time! Pre-pandemic we would go there for the bar scene at night but obviously I haven't been there army that capacity in awhile. We went to grab a quick lunch outside and the food was great! There was brunch and a few lunch options available. We got cheese curds to start and then each got an entree. There was plenty of outdoor seating and we were able to pick a table that had some shade. The food was amazing. Definitely a great place to grab some bar food. My one complaint would be that we weren't checked in on between getting our food and the check and weren't asked if we needed anything else. I had an empty water glass for essentially the entire meal and really could've used a refill due to how hot my food was. Overall, great food and would definitely be back.

Repeatedly snubbed by this particular bartender. Served all around me as if I didn't exist. Asked other bartender to convey a message "I appreciated the other girls lack of service!" Veteran, retired firefighter, came here when it was Crisp, off the list!

I'm surprised Jack's is rated so low on here! Yes, the music is loud but every single song is a bop so I don't mind it. The have the biggest TVs I've ever seen which is perfect for a March Madness! There are TVs all around so you can see multiple games no matter where you sit. My husband and I had so much fun here watching FDU best Purdue. The drinks were good, service was good, and staff was regularly clearing tables/bar areas. They have an upstairs and upper level bars with plenty of seating around them. They also have pop a shot, pull tabs, and tons of other games upstairs. We will definitely be back!

I like Jack's. I go mostly for drink specials. The food is pretty good too. I like the burgers. Until recently they had a truffle Mac and cheese that was my favorite to get as a side. Now it's a jalapeño Mac with bacon on it. It's not quite the same but when I was eating it I had seat-neighbors salivating over it. Sunrise, sunset. It is what it is. It's mostly a younger crowd but also attracts the old-school Brady St. locals, which keeps things interesting. They still have Lakefront specials on certain nights. The bartenders are mostly chill. It's a "young" place in the sense that a lot of the customers are college students, but you still feel welcome if you're not in that cohort. There's not the loud nst-nst-nst music or anything. For food I like the burgers and sandwiches. The cheese fries are good but definitely for 2 people. I like the Doug E. Fresh in particular. There's usually a game on the TV. It's a cool place.

Jack's has great food and drinks. Their one bartender Lauren makes the best Bloody Mary's. Definitely make this a regular stop.

They have indoor and outdoor seating for the season. Great for mini hangouts with friends. I tried their soup of the day , broccoli cheese, and salad that was pretty good. They got my dressing wrong, supposed to be ranch but it was bleu cheese. It seems the place was busy and only had one server so it took sometime to receive the entrees, so plan ahead if you're expecting to eat hungry.

Von Trier is an institution -- not the bad kind, like a "mental institution", or an "Ale Asylum" (I…read morelove that name!); the very good kind, as in a cultural and community treasure. I'm old enough to remember the place when it was Rieder's. Already a warm and special place, with a jukebox filled with classical music, it had a groovy mid century modern decor and was a hangout for MSO musicians after concerts. It acquired its lavish, present-day German decor when it was sold to Karl Lotharius. I don't recall how much longer, after that, the jukebox survived, but the astounding decor remains. Alas, there's a reason for my one star (which, I hope and assume, the present owners will notice) . . . and it has to do with a certain scourge -- the maddening omnipresence of which is second only to that of A.I. I refer to TV screens. There have been several ownership changes since Lotharius departed this mortal coil, and I honestly don't know at what point in time it was decided to tarnish the decor with the addition of several TVs. (I was so enraged by the sight of them, when I first entered the front door after a long time away, that I didn't bother to look at the back room; consequently, I have no idea whether the scourge has ruined that room as well.) Clearly, in jumping on the "give the people what they want" bandwagon, the owners (current and/or recent) believe that there's no such thing as too many sports bars (or at least, bars that can be compelled to serve that function at least some of the time). Gosh, I would think that people who are so into SPORTS, when coming upon a bar lacking screens, would have sufficient fitness, energy and motivation to walk a block or two extra, if necessary, to find and enter one of the many other establishments equipped to satisfy their jones for that pathetic fix. But then again, I guess it's that fundamental laziness that makes them mere spectators. There's only one thing worse than a proprietor so lacking in imagination, individuality, courage and self-respect that, when choosing a design for their establishment, they cave to the TV trend. It's a proprietor who ruins an EXISTING treasure by plunking multiple TV screens into the middle of it all. Like turds in a punch bowl. It's great to "get away from it all" for a while, isn't it, for a nice meal, drinks and conversation? The thing is, if I want a TV screen, I can see one at home. (But I don't want to. Not always, anyway. To judge from what TV, movies and commercials show us, every home now has the same standard, ugly, huge plastic rectangle (the TV screen) dominating its designated room(s), out in the open. As for me, I require mine to live inside a closed cabinet. It only comes out when I say that it can.) And, rather than seeing constant reminders that our world has all but become the kind of dystopia in which there's no escaping that intrusive electronic barrage, I could instead just stay at home and watch any of the many sci-fi movies on that theme (a theme that used to be merely a warning. Now, such films more resemble documentaries.) Shame.

However, the continuous construction (I feel like it's been since 2012??!!) is always extremely discouraging and parking is like the survival of the fittest. The pub itself has a similar vibe to Three Lions. I ADORE the Union Jack painted on the ceiling and red English phone booth. It is reminiscent of a stereotypical "English" pub (and yes, I have been to many - mostly outside of London - in the past 3 years). There was only one employee working at my time of visit, and maybe 10-15 other patrons. I ordered the Ruben rolls, which were great but left in the fryer 2 mins too long. Sadly, they did not have any of the ciders or beers I longed for.... which is understandable these days due to tariffs. I definitely plan on going back to see what the vibe is like during World Cup matches.

Chicken tenders come out burnt or the food is not as advertised. Their shepherds pie is not braised lamb, it's ground beef instead. Still tasted good, but disappointing.
