Nothing wrong working in the food industry you are supposed to have a calm mentality meaning whatever attitude you have with somebody else that day leave it at home does that makes you look bad but that also makes the restaurant look bad. I say "typically" because every now and then you might get a biscuit that's a little over done or some fries that have been overcooked, but that's typically late at night near closing time. But that kind of stuff happens sometimes, regardless of the restaurant. It certainly doesn't cause me to have a bad experience. If you've never been to a Bojangles, go! You won't be disappointed.

I got an email yesterday that I had a free…read moreChick-fil-A chicken biscuit for using the Chick-fil-A app., and I could not get "the Lord's chicken" out of my mind this morning! Hubs had a medical appointment and did not have the CFA app., so I placed my free chicken biscuit order on the app and added a small hash rounds. The total cost was $1.80 and I opted for drive through pick up and provided the make, model, and color of my car for the app. Once I got to Chick-fil-A, the drive through line was endless. This is a great problem for CFA to have and it really wasn't a problem it is just so easy to pop inside and check the pickup area for your order. When I change from drive through pick up to pickup area pick up the app notified me it would be 3-7 minutes. It was maybe three minutes tops because I walked in and boom, order was ready! Everything was cooked correctly, tasted well, the interior of the store was beyond clean and organized and everyone seemed happy! Thanks, Chick-fil-A!

Unfortunately, the restroom wasn't very clean, and the soap dispenser wasn't working. I let a staff member know right away and hope it was addressed promptly. I had to make do with water and hand sanitizer, which wasn't ideal. As I looked around the dining area, I also noticed that the restaurant itself didn't appear very tidy. There was food and clutter in several areas, including behind the counter, which felt a bit chaotic. It's possible they had just finished a lunch rush and hadn't had time to reset the space, but cleanliness is something I've noticed can be inconsistent at several locations. On a positive note, I ordered the new Chicken Al Pastor bowl with lettuce, sour cream, rice, black beans, and mild salsa -- and the food itself did not disappoint. The chicken was flavorful with a nice hint of spice, and the bowl overall was satisfying and well-balanced. I genuinely enjoy the flavors and quality of the food, but I do wish there was more consistent attention to cleanliness. Having dedicated staff focused on keeping the dining area and restrooms tidy would greatly improve the overall experience.

It took more than 35 minutes. When our order came up, someone back in the kitchen yelled out our number and then a few seconds later, the bag was THROWN onto the counter and slid across onto the floor. The sandwiches came out of the bag. I just left them there. Once an employee came up, I told her what happened. She picked them up and dropped them in the bag and tried to hand the bag to me. I said, no, those have been on the floor. She walked back to the kitchen and turned around, trying to make me believe they remade them in 15 seconds. I said, we'll just take a refund, we're not being served food off the floor. She then threw them in the garbage and walked away. A minute later, someone else came to the counter and asked to take our order. I told her what happened and asked for a refund again. They refused to issue a refund and said they'd make the order. 10 more minutes, I could see the first woman bagging our order. This time, she opened the sandwiches, STICKING HER BARE FINGERS in them, lifting the buns, to check them I assume. She then brought them to us and then I asked for a refund again. Why, what's the issue? I said, you put your fingers in our sandwiches, opening them up for some reason. YOU CAN'T DO THAT. She said, I was just checking them to make sure the one didn't have cheese and the other did and she added "my hands are clean". They still refused to issue a refund.
