Cookies and cream shake, huckleberry shake, affogato
    Sophia A.

Kind of pricey for a shake, but tastes pretty good! I had the cookies and cream specialty shake, and my parents tried the huckleberry shake and affogato shake, respectively, we all enjoyed it. Took it to go since it was a bit busy inside, but we got our shakes pretty quickly! Worth stopping by when you're in Jackson Hole.

Jackson Drug offers a classic American lunch menu between Salads, Sandwiches, and Burgers with popular milkshakes on the side. The ambiance was giving a retro vibe with a modern western twist. Upon entering was greeted by the immediate host surrounded by the spacious interior with lots of table and even had an outdoor patio space. The servers were working hard running around helping provide customer needs immediately. They are nice and helpful. The food came out delicious and presented with a plate filled up. Definitely one of the popular and busy restaurant in the city!

I got the nachos but subbed out chips for sweet potato fries. Really good! Cool place that definitely stays busy.

Came here on a girls bachelorette trip and came here for lunch twice two days in a row ha ha I got the club sandwich with a side salad and the side salad was absolutely delicious so I got the same thing twice in a row. There's usually a way but it goes by quick and the service is nice and the food comes out quickly. Ambience is busy, but it's right in the middle of downtown Jackson hole so that's to be expected.

We walked in here with a group of 9 on a Friday around 5:30ish. I was nervous for the wait time, but they told us it would be 30 to 45 minutes. It did end up being about 35 minutes before we got a text letting us know our table was ready. I was truly impressed by how quick they were able to seat such a large group. Our server was nice and got our drinks quickly. I got a Diet Coke, and the brew was good. To start, my husband and I shared the Brussels sprouts. They were INCREDIBLE. My husband says they might be his favorite that he's ever had. For dinner, I got the chicken wrap and my husband got a burger. Both were delicious. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. The chicken tenders are gluten free which was a big win for our friend who is celiac. For dessert, I wanted to do the trio flight of ice cream, but they were out of both moose tracks and mint chip. I got a scoop of the huckleberry. Totally delicious. Perfectly sweet and creamy. My friend got a chocolate chip milkshake that was delicious and came in a cute cup. We didn't try them but they also offered alcoholic milkshakes. The big star of the show for us was the coffee ice cream. Best I've ever had for sure. I would HIGHLY recommend getting ice cream when visiting.

Cutest corner drugstore diner straight out of a hallmark movie! Great atmosphere and service! All were nice and friendly. Wonderful experience as our first stop after arriving in Jackson. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and the DIY grilled cheese with enough tots for the town. Portions were filling! Loved it here and definitely a town staple.

We were surprisingly seated right away on a busy Friday evening in Jackson Hole. The food and treats were delicious but the servers weren't the warmest and the prices are pretty high for what it is.

Honestly, I saw this place and went in with good hopes from reviews. But I was just let down. This place is known for their shakes so I stopped by for one. But this place was not at a cleanliness level I would have preferred on my day so we turned away from it. The wings we got were ok. Try it for yourself as we may have been on an off day.

This is a must visit when you come to Jackson, WY. An old pharmacy redone as a restaurant. The burgers are great and the milkshakes are delicious.

Stopped in for lunch around 11:30am and didn't have to wait. The interior is very nostalgic and the menu is a mix of classic and more modern American. The food came out pretty quick. We'll have to come back for the milkshakes.

Great location! Stopped in for lunch while walking around the downtown area. I had the Brussels sprouts and a cup of tomato bisque. Both were really good, but I especially loved the soup.

Smash burger is great. Some of the best traditional French fries. Sitting on the outside patio is perfect in the nice fall weather.

We spent the…read moreprior many nights at all the "best" restaurants in town - Wild Sage, Snake River Grill, Glorietta, White Buffalo Club - Gather beat them all out without question. While the previous restaurants mentioned are a bit more upscale, Gather is on the more casual side. It's located right at the base of Snow King mountain so you can look out at the mountain. Most of all - the food here was amazing. We are from NYC and are self proclaimed "foodies" - so we don't say it lightly when we say that the chef/menu here was super eclectic in the best way possible. He infused flavors from all different cuisines from Mediterranean to Korean -- without anything feeling overpoweringly ethnic. The pork buns were a 10 - unlike most restaurants that use a chunk of pork belly, it seemed like they cubed pork from the rib and it tasted more like eating a delicious spare rib from a Chinese restaurant - without the fat you often get in a traditional pork belly bun. The Fresno peppers accented the sweetness of the buns brilliantly. For entree my wife had the elk bolognese which was superb. The papardelle had a perfect chew (maybe made in house?) and the meat / sauce itself was wonderful. The real showstopper here though was the pork ribeye. I've had plenty of good pork chops but this was something completely different. This cut and its preparation was unbelievably tender and juicy - it melts in your mouth like a piece of wagyu steak. I truly did not think you could achieve this level of tenderness from a pork. The flavors around it were incredible and it was genuinely one of the best dishes I've ever had - anywhere - period. Kudos to the chef for this masterful creation. If you even marginally like pork - please do yourself a favor and get this!! Lastly - shout out to ELLA, our server, who was kind and warm and honest and attentive throughout the whole meal. One of the best servers we had on our entire trip - she was amazing! Overall - a true 5 stars here - no questions asked!!

The gentleman host took our name and number and told us it would be 30 mins, I confirmed he would text and he said he would either text or call, never got a call or text. I came back 40 mins later and it appears he told the same thing to several other people, and like me, they never got a call or text. The food was ok at best, definitely not worth the wait or cost. It was at least a nice place to sit so it has that going for it. Would not recommend if you don't have a desire to drink.

The weather was low 80's and they had the windows open. It was a great spot to people watch and keep an eye on a storm that was rolling in. I ordered a cold beer - Blue Moon. It was served cold with in the bottle so no orange slice for me. I am sure they would have a served it in a glass had I requested it. They were busy. The young man (host) was not at his station when I arrived, but shortly arrived and asked me how many seats I needed. He was attentive and agreed with me when I suggested the window seat. He chatted briefly about the storm rolling in. When my waiter arrived I knew what I wanted. After reading some reviews on here, I decided to order the crunchy salad with chicken. Beer: no complaints Salad: YES, YES, YES I know that it's not typical to go to a burger place and order a salad BUT let me tell you. The reviews are right! I will have another salad here before I leave Jackson for SURE! ANKA - she is the BEST! If you want a burger, go to Teton Drug around the corner. Even then too, the ice cream and milkshakes are super good at Teton Drug too. We ordered the pastrami Reuben with fries and ended up splitting it between the two of us. It was absolutely delicious and VERY hearty. The portions here are definitely generous, and one meal was plenty for two people for us. One thing that really stood out was how creative the food seems to be. This doesn't feel like a restaurant simply following the standard pub menu. Several of the dishes sounded like things they've experimented with, developed, and really made their own. There seems to be a lot of creativity and personality behind the menu. The sauce served with our Reuben was especially good. It reminded me of a cross between Thousand Island and a Big Mac-style sauce, but with its own flavor. Whatever it was, it was top-notch and went perfectly with the sandwich. The atmosphere is definitely that of a true bar/pub. We aren't drinkers, and alcohol is obviously a major focus here, from the decor to the overall feel of the restaurant. If you're not a drinker, you may feel a little out of place in the main bar area, so that is something to know going in. That being said, they do have a separate side dining room away from the main bar area, as well as a patio that looked like it would be a wonderful place to sit, eat, and enjoy the beautiful Wyoming scenery. The building itself is definitely older and a little worn down. It appeared clean on the surface, but you can tell the restaurant has seen a lot of use over the years and could probably benefit from some updating and a little extra attention in certain areas. At the same time, the rustic, well-used feel does fit the personality of a longtime local pub. Our one meal came to $25.68, so it is certainly on the pricier side for a sandwich and fries. However, this is Jackson Hole, and higher prices are somewhat expected in a tourist town. Considering how large the portions were, the price was a little easier to justify. Overall, The Bird is a fun, quirky, very casual place with huge portions and some surprisingly creative food. The pastrami Reuben was delicious, the sauce was fantastic, and I would definitely order it again.
