We stopped in here on our way through Jackson and once we were seated we found the Yelp page and weren't sure how good our experience would be. I got the classic burger with tater tots, upgraded to chili cheese tots. I really enjoyed what I ordered. However, my friend and I received french fries first when we requested tater tots so we had to wait for our tater tots once the table had received food. And two of my friends ordered the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant and they said both the croissant and chicken salad were dry. So if you stop in maybe avoid the chicken salad and stick with the burgers! But I would recommend a stop to anyone! read more

I am a semi local since I live 60 miles away... So I have been in a lot of the restaurants near the Jackson drug company but never been in it. Stopped there after picking my son up from New York. We were kind of forced to go there since everything else was full, usually there is a line out the door but this time we lucked out. My son and I each had the meatloaf and the wife had a spinach wrap or chicken wrap. The meatloaf was out of this world. My son and I both thought it was the tastiest we had ever had and my wife's chicken wrap was delicious so big though she could not eat only half of it and took the other half home and ate it the next day. I know which restaurant I'm going to the next time I visit Jackson Wyoming it won't be any of the others around or near the Jackson drug. it earned five stars with me. read more

if you visit Jackson this is definitely somewhere you need to eat at. it's perfect for the whole family. it's famous for its milkshakes and burgers. and they have this huge soft pretzel on the menu that you can eat as your meal or share with your friends as an appetizer. everyone is so nice and it's definitely a must see place before you leave Jackson. What an awesome place with awesome people. I explained my allergies to the wait staff they did a wonderful job. I believe the chef was a celiac as well. I went with the steak and roasted potatoes and some greens. My son really enjoyed the chicken tenders and wonderful milkshake from the vintage fountain. When you stop here you'll feel like your stepping back in time! My wife and I wanted to have a coffee and once we saw the menu, we decided to have a Root Beer Float and a Cowboy Mocha Shake. It reminded me of the 60's at my father's dairy bar you must stop here, this store is full of history just look at the pictures of Jackson through the time. The area they prepare the drinks is set up just like it was in the 60's. Our server Iggy was super and it turns out we both have something in common, were both from Poland. I have a new friend in Jackson. I should point out their menu was full of wonderful items to eat too. Next time we walk around Jackson we'll make sure we stop here again. read more

As we explored the shops/sites around the central square, we happened upon this spot and after a quick inquiry regarding the posted menu, we learned they had gluten-free chicken tenders (a rare find for celiacs/GF-diets) and immediately asked for a table. The tenders, along with sweet potato fries (also GF), and a large plate of loaded fries (cheesy, also GF) did not disappoint (fantastic in fact)! Here's the deal. Jackson Drug gets 5 stars for the ice cream and shakes. It's definitely not a quiet setting, but that wasn't a problem. My friends said that the burgers and grilled cheese (smoked gouda on wheat) were delicious. The sweet potato fries were also good. The tater tops came out luke warm, but were replaced with hot ones quickly. The pickles, home made, were awesome. Here's what dropped the rating. We were a party of 5 adults. The waiter was abrupt and I formed us that they would only do 2 checks instead of 3. Was that truly an administrative issue, or was it designed so the 18% large party gratuity could be added? I has been craving trout. The had trout on the menu. So I ordered it sautéed. Who goes in to a burger joint asking for fish? Dumb thing to do. I was told it was fresh, and have no reason to think otherwise. The problem was the taste. Or, should say, the lack of taste. At $28, I was more disappointed. Went on June 23. I understand COVID issues but unless it infected the brain of manager and hostess there are no excuses. Hostess was rude from the minute we walked in. Put our name on list for table but never got one. Many were empty while 4 employees stood behind bar chatting. When we asked what the problem was hostess told us to go outside. So we did go outside to a different restaurant. I will never go again. Please stay away. Place needs to go out of business. read more

I enjoyed reading about how the owners rehabilitated the original space that their great grandfather once owned (previously a pharmacy, hence the name). Eat here as a last resort only!! I came in here with a friend on July 9th, 2022 after being impressed with the venue and was willing to give it a shot. We ordered a classic Burger and the chicken tender platter, skeptical of the high prices and slow service, but we remaind open minded. Unfortunately what we received was barely worth 5 dollars much less 15. The chicken tenders were dryer then the Sahara, made barely palatable by the honey mustard provided. The burger was ordered medium but came out looking very well done with fries that masterfully simulated the sensation of biting into packing peanuts. The staff here was incredibly friendly on the few occasions they acctually served us but could not make up for the exorbitant prices. First off, I need to give Jackson Drug some credit. They have received a lot of bad reviews when it comes to service. But they really stepped up their service game last night when we ran in from out of the cold to find some late-night dinner. We hoped for the best when we gave Jackson Drug a chance and they gave it their best effort in many ways. My boyfriend and I ordered and shared the steak finger platter that comes with fries, country gravy, and some Texas toast. Being a girl from Texas, seeing "Texas" on any menu makes me do two things: 1. Get excited. 2. Become highly suspicious. Does anyone who doesn't hail from Texas know what "Texas" means? Usually this is a big no. But I don't want to walk around being that sort of skeptical hater, so I'm open to the possibility that some Yankee is gonna get it right. There ARE transplants who know what they're talking about! I excitedly awaited my meal, ready to be dazzled! My parents played it safe and ordered a medium-cooked burger and a basket of buffalo wings for sharing. The food was not the best we've ever eaten, but it was cooked well, filled our bellies, and satisfied. Jackson Drug honored the beef by serving it tender, not as an overcooked hockey puck that makes a Texan cringe. And when it came to the steak fingers, this was quite the fete because the fried crispy outside didn't render the inside rubbery and pathetic, which is often common. Not only that, but I was pleased to see that these "fingers" were strips of meat, not ground chuck--even more reason to be impressed. The only downside to this dish was the lack of flavoring. That said, if I have to go without one or the other, I'm going to go for a beautifully cooked piece of beef that I have to add some salt and pepper to. The biggest disappointment for this Texas girl, however, was the teeny container of gravy. Gravy is a condiment to dip everything into: the fingers, the bread, AND the fries. I'm going to need at least a quarter of a gallon. But all joking aside, a tiny pot is just not gonna do the trick. We were only visiting Jackson and it was late in the evening. Kudos to Jackson Drug for taking in a pack of hungry folks who were looking for food and a place to warm ourselves. I'd be happy to give you all another shot the next time I'm in town. read more

Food was so-so. It was a hearty portion, which was nice after a long day exploring the national forests in the area. Beer was all canned? Really? Nothing was available on-tap? Ok... Had a basic double cheeseburger with fries. Burger patties were massive and were well-seasoned and cooked how I asked, so that was a big win. Fries were whatever. Prices are high, but it's in the main square of Jackson, so atop already high prices relative to the rest of Wyoming, this is another step up for the tourism. Delicious food, great staff, and nicely decorated clean restaurant. I had the rodeo clown burger and tater tots and they were both great. I didn't try the ice cream, but they have a variety of shakes and flavors, all made in house with locally sourced cream (according to their menu).
