Service was great, but the food was not good. Took a bite into my cream cheese rangoons and the cream cheese tasted and smelled pungent. When I spit it out and cracked open another, the cheese looked curdled and did not smell great. It was a strong sour smell. The general chicken had little to no flavor. There were two slices of carrots and two pieces of broccoli. I think the only thing that tasted good was the steamed rice.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I ordered the egg drop soup and the "juicy dumplings," which I assumed would be xiaolongbao, along with a Coke. The restaurant was fairly busy, with lots of delivery drivers coming in and out and a steady flow of take-out orders, so I had high hopes. Unfortunately, the food just didn't meet my expectations. The egg drop soup was okay--I managed to eat about half--but the dumplings were a big disappointment. They were slimy, had an off-putting texture, and overall tasted gross. I took just a few bites before deciding I couldn't finish them. I really wanted to enjoy this meal, but sadly it just wasn't for me.

Staying nearby for work and needed my Chinese fix! Not expecting that I would have the BEST ORANGE CHICKEN IVE EVER HAD! It was unreal perfectly crispy with just the right amount of sauce! Highly recommend as I wasn't expecting it at all. The beef and broccoli with the egg drop soup was very good but the star of the show was the orange chicken. I was able to get all that in the pictures below for 19.99 during dinner. Well worth it and glad I happen to stop by! Highly recommend!

Tuesday, 12-24-2024: Our son was visiting from San Diego and we needed to do last minute shopping. I was grateful for his company since my hubby hates shopping. We were at Best Buy to get a Roblox gift card for my grandson when we realized we were famished. I knew Jade China was nearby and my son agreed to have a late lunch there since he's fond of Chinese food. When we arrived we were seated right away. We both opted for the Cashew Nut Chicken lunch special for only $10.75. It was served right away and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Their portions are generous so we both had to-go boxes. The service was friendly & efficient. The interior is bright, tidy and the booth was comfortable. I really enjoy the food here & love supporting small businesses.

Kim the server with blonde hair is A SWEETHEART! I came in after leaving a couple places that I just wasn't really feeling the vibe when I was up in the mountains. Realized I haven't been to this place yet after I have been here in December and it was so busy. So was so excited to come here and it was incredibly accommodating and absolutely a beautiful experience. EVERYTHING was good even the egg rolls (I usually don't like them other places). These were really good I actually ate both of them normally I would've waited. The role was nice the flavor was nice the crispiness was nice. It wasn't overdone. I got the $39 family special so I can have lots of leftovers. A great deal! Everything was really good and they were so sweet I'm so happy I came back! The food was super fast as well! I think sometimes maybe people forget that this is a family owned restaurant and they need to be a little bit nicer with their expectations. Especially on holidays! The only thing I can agree with with one of the negative reviews is that the fried rice is not the traditional kind that you would normally get. There's not a bunch of vegetables in it or a lot of egg. It does have a nice flavor to it though so I do still prefer it over the white rice. it has a really nice texture as well. So that would be the only thing that I noticed other than that everything was great. I'm stuffed! I definitely recommend the lunch special or the dinner specials!

We ordered from Jade China to compare it to another Chinese restaurant in our neighborhood. We ordered BBQ pork chow mein, salt and pepper prawns and teriyaki chicken. The teriyaki chicken was delicious with plenty of tender chicken and a few pieces of broccoli, carrots and onions. The shrimp was fried perfectly with the right amount of spice. However, the chow mein was disappointing. It had sauce! All the years of eating chow mein, we never ever had it with any type of liquid and we would have preferred more noodles and the veggies were missing. Our search continues to find the perfect Chinese restaurant.

Just moved here & stopped by and saw this restaurant, not what i expected ! super nice restaurant, friendly staff, and once we got home the food was phenomenal ! we loved it and can't wait to come back

Finally a Chinese restaurant that tastes fresh and clean. We had the family especial that fed 4 of us (my wife and my two teenage kids) for $31 From the egg drop soup to the Mongolian beef and orange chicken, everything was delicious. Walked in and walked out. Floor was dirty under the table, napkin wrapper had oily fingerprints pictures of food looked good but we didn't stay to taste it. They did have indoor seating but not separated nor did they have dividers between tables. read more

I have frequented this restaurant about three times. Last night, I was with a party of five. One of the people in my party ordered mapo tofu. He waited around 30 minutes and still did not receive his food. Meanwhile, the rest of us were eating our food! After another 10 minutes, the waiter came out with the mapo tofu. I tried a bit of the tofu and was absolutely horrified!!!!! They cooked up the dish with EXPIRED tofu! On another note, I ordered the chow fun noodles. It tasted like it had been cooked in recycled oil....YUK! I will not be frequenting this restaurant anymore. The quality is not good! read more

DO NOT ORDER ON GrubHub! I ordered some Jalapeño Beef and Cream Cheese Wontons at 11:00AM to be delivered to my work at 1:00PM. It is now a WEEK later and they're still not delivered! I called the restaurant to check on my order, and they barely speak English and said that it was signed off and hung up on me. I contacted GrubHub and they apologized and gave me a $25 promo code. GrubHub is an awesome company! Just order from Pick Up Stix. DO NOT ORDER from this incompetent restaurant. read more

This place is awesome, we just placed a huge takeaway order and had it delivered. The food was outstanding I had to go back for more. The people were great, very nice and appreciative of use ordering from them. We got the Garlic chicken, kung pow chicken, Mongolian beef , orange chicken, beef and broccoli, fried shrimp, egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, fried rice, and white rice. I will definitely go back and eat there and bring my friends. Thank you Jade China for being so awesome. read more

Food is good. Service tonight horrible we asked for soy sauce and waiter man pointed to other table for us to get up and get it ourselves. Portions smaller and prices higher. It's typical for the times. Also no help. All tables were filthy and not bussed. Two door dash guys waiting both got wrong orders. Other poor soul Sitting waiting for his new order to be cooked. He had to drive back here with the wrong order. I feel for these guys. Waiter Man came and asked if we ordered pork fried rice. We said no. A lot of stress I see going on. People coming in as we eat waiting looked very upset. I'm glad this is the last time we will eat here. The only thing keeping this restaurant alive is the food. You guys need to get your Shit together. read more

They always get my food right and I've never had any issues with my many allergies. I don't know how they make their chicken melt in your mouth... but they have. I have been here a few time now, and have also ordered take out. The food is amazing, the prices are low (too low in my opinion for the service and quality of food) Even when ordering take out. It never a falls short of perfect. I suggest going in, experiencing the level of customer service and appetizers in person. This is easily becoming a regular stop for me. I have been ordering delivery from Jade China for a while now and I have been satisfied with all my orders before even though it took them at least an hour to deliver. I thought I have found a new go to Chinese delivery place. However, my last two orders were different. They have started to deliver my orders in half the time which is great. The quality of the food has gone south though. The first of these orders came with salt and pepper shrimp and salt and pepper pork chops. Both were too salty. I decided to give them another chance last night. The egg drop soup was just bland. I have ordered the same soup in all my previous deliveries and they have all been great, except for this one. I will go back to China One. Their food is not as good as Jade China but at least they are consistent when it comes to the taste of the food. read more

For a Chinese living in Orange County trying to find decent Chinese in this area is not easy. Seeing an A grade inspection by health dep was the reason i walked in. Their menu is very comprehensive and there is something for everyone. I ordered their lunch served daily till 4pm. Rice, noddle, soup, all for less thzn 10 dollar. Good food decent portion. Can't speak on the actual place and dine-in experience. My issue? The vegan options seem to often have some meat in them. My mapo tofu will often have some stray/scrap beef and what not in it, which makes it hard to recommend to vegans and hard to enjoy if you're not looking to eat meat.

I ordered the beef egg foo young, and it's my fav but I'm very picky about it. Here it's made fresh when you order. And boom, you can taste the difference. It was spot on. Fresh, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and honestly one of the best I've had. We also had the veggie egg rolls, and you could taste how clean the oil was. No heaviness, no lingering grease. Just crisp, fresh, and really well done. Even the jasmine tea was really good. Smooth, fragrant, and clearly not an afterthought. The place was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. And hearing the Chinese chatter coming from the kitchen said everything about the authenticity without needing to say a word. Fresh food, great flavors, and a genuine feel. We'll definitely be back.

Instead of the light, crispy texture you typically expect from traditional salt and pepper wings, they were coated in a heavy batter that reminded me more of fried chicken from a fast-food restaurant. The staff and ambiance were great, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one. I hope they consider improving the seasoning and batter because the service deserves food that matches the quality of the hospitality.

The stir-fried dishes were also really satisfying, with a good balance of meat and vegetables (not just all veggies like some places). The overall taste feels pretty authentic, and it's not overly greasy, so you don't feel heavy after eating. Portions are also generous -- one dish can easily be shared. I usually like my mapo tofu with brown rice, which wasn't a choice here, but it was still enjoyable. I was a bit concerned that it was gonna be too hot for my liking, but when I got home and sat down to eat it, I was fine with it and whatever heat it contained. I love mapo tofu and wouldn't mind having them again if in the area, but would also like to see how they compare to other local spots.

I love supporting local, Filipino-owned businesses, which makes it even more disappointing to leave this review. I was one of the first customer in line when the store opened at 7:30 AM, and there were quite a few customers behind me after that. My order was placed at 7:44 AM, and I received my coffee and croissant fairly quickly. However, I was still waiting on the 4 cinnamon rolls I had ordered. Around 20 minutes later, I went up to the counter to check on my order. I was reassured that my cinnamon rolls were being made and told that it usually takes about 30 minutes, so I continued waiting. As more time passed, I noticed customers who ordered both before and after me receiving their orders while I was still waiting. At that point, I started to feel like my order may have been missed. I checked a second time and explained that I felt like my order may have been missed. The gentleman who helped me was much kinder than the first person I spoke with and was apologetic, which I appreciated. Finally, another employee, who I believe was the owner's husband, asked to see my receipt and discovered that my order had been misplaced. I received my cinnamon rolls around 8:30 AM. While I understand that popular items can take time, it was frustrating to find out that my order had actually been misplaced after I had already asked about it twice. Mistakes happen, and I appreciate the owner's husband for being honest about what happened and the gentleman for taking the time to help. I love supporting local businesses and hope this doesn't happen to another customer.

I got the matcha cloud coconut water. It was so good! The people working there were sweet and accommodating they did have a mix up with my order, but when something was said they were able to fix right away. All in all I definitely recommend coming here if you are wanting good matcha and good vibes. Next time I come I want to try their coffee next time and food.

What a superb choice. The flavor was above board with the perfect mix of exotic spices. I savored every bite. Portions were generous so I was able to take some of my stew home. However this place just gave me the wow factor even through food delivery on GrubHub! I just had to jump on here right away to share! As mentioned I've never dined in and today was my 1st day getting takeout from here. Not going to lie, I was a bit skeptical I'm not sure why. So glad I pulled the plug! Ok the wow factor came how they were so brilliant and mindful during packaging takeout orders! Wow they definitely thought outside the box of how to take care of their customers and I'm assuming how they'd want their food delivered. So I ordered 3 salads basically; squid, papaya, and beef. All contains liquids. They put the papaya in a big closable container with a lid. Smart; you'd think everyone would do that. You'd be surprised who just dumps papaya in a styrofoam container! Anyway the squid and beef salads came separately from their salads. They made sure to pack the dry salads in a takeout box and put the mixed proteins in their marinades in another soup containers which was perfect and made it so easy to add on top when ready. I really love that idea! Not only that but the food was good. I really enjoyed the squid salad it had a nice sour balance. The papaya salad I requested Lao style to be the spiciest level 10 but it actually wasn't too spicy. Other restaurants definitely need to take notes because I really just had a bad experience with another Thai restaurant being so careless and my papaya salad sauce spilling not only in the bag but dripped all over my floors. You guys have a repeat customer in the area!

WE LOVE JADE! The Chinese food here is delicious, hands down! My husband and I have tried many Chinese restaurants in Murrieta and Temecula and we only go here. The food is fantastic and the ownership provides wonderful service that keeps you coming back. The quality of the food is always consistent with fresh vegetables and always made to order. Every time we call, Julie knows who we are, what we want and within 10 minutes or less, we can drive across the street and voila--it is ready! Our favorite dishes are the spicy chicken and green beans and orange chicken. We have tried other dishes, but these are our absolute must-haves! This place was recommended to me by several people. After reading the reviews online I decided to give it a try (since I refuse to go to pick up stix). I am sooo happy I tried it! We have been there twice now and love it. My husband & I aren't huge chinese food fans, so we aren't too adventurous with our choices. But we have ordered the Orange Chicken, Fried Rice, & Chow Mein & Chicken Chow Mein. We LOVE them all. The Orange Chicken is really really good. Oh man lunch was good. Passing by and my sister and I were craving Chinese food and looked up this place, it was the closest place to me so we decided to go here. The location was very nice and clean and the food was quite tasty. We ordered cashew chicken and spicy salt squid and it was very good, fresh and delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone because the food is great and the prices were reasonable, about $9 to $10 per plate and big enough to satisfy you and still take some home. read more

Again we come in and Asian man yelling at workers. Come on indoor dining and people hearing all of this. Food is so good. And the owners or whoever's in kitchen need to shut up and realize people are hearing the awful noise. I'd give you one star but again your food is good. Please please fry your wontons fresh. Let visit was very stale. Maybe you need to close off the doorway so you can yell and not bother us. read more

Found this Chinese Restaurant and it's the best in the area so far! Has healthy options with no salt for my mother who can not have sodium. And my daughter loved their noodles and fried rice.
