I've been here twice and will probably come again if they could do a better job with their service. The food is pretty good (it's hard to find decent sushi out here but if I want sushi I come here) but their service is pretty lacking. We came at times when it was fairly busy but definitely not busy enough that it should have taken our servers that long to get to us. Jade Dragon has really tasty sushi and other good Chinese and Japanese entrees. I like it best when Yuda prepares my sushi, he does an excellent job and the presentations are very unique. The menu is large, portions are generous, and the pricing is very good. I'm less impressed by the combination platters, which seem mostly pre-cooked rather than made fresh... but they are priced accordingly (that is, inexpensive). Drinks are inexpensive and on the stronger side. Service is usually good to great, but I've had an occasion or two when it was slow, or the entrees didn't all come out at the same time (our waiter gave us a round of drinks on the house for the inconvenience though!) It's my favorite Asian restaurant in Milford at the moment... there are at least 5, last time I checked! read more

I haven't been to the location myself which is a shame. But I have tried the food and let me tell you. You will never find a good restaurant like this one. My father once brought me back some leftovers from dinner. Even though they were leftovers, the food was unlike anything I have ever tasted. I do hope to go there myself one day. Trust me. We did take out and we're not impressed. I should have known because my friend told us previously she's found a staple in her food. We just had the basic Appetizer combination. Fried rice was hard in texture and had no flavor. The fried stuff was mushy. On top of that my husband who loves mustard sauce got a half a container that looked liked it was previously used. My Husband and I were excited to see them coming to Milford, since we like the one in Merrimack. But can I just say they are totally different!!! Milford Jade Dragon is awefull! We have had 2 bad experiences and will never go back! The first experience was on New Years eve, we had ordered the day before as they had requested and when we went to pick up our order, they completely forgot about us, after making us wait 45 min. The second experience they screwed up our order twice and after going back the second time because they forgot something, I was not going back a third! Then when I called to tell them of their mistake, they argued with me over the phone! what happened with the customer always being right?! And to top it off, the food is not great! read more

I love this place! So does my gal! The sushi is always super fresh and very creative. Go on nights that Andy G is tending bar (Wed-Sunday), he makes a great cocktail and always has something fun up his sleeve (IE: 181 Rum soaked Cherries). He also has a great grasp of the menu, including knowledge regarding all the sushi choices. We just tried the Walnut Shrimp...OMG....flavor explosion. Lighlt batter dipped shrimp in a creamy coconut sauce. Served on a bed of steamed broccoli and topped with roasted walnuts and sesame seeds. This dish rocks! read more

Wow. I wish I knew how to throw up on demand to get this sad excuse of Chinese food out of my system. The sweet and sour chicken was 90% crust and the sauce smelled like chemicals and tasted awful. The "hong long style" Chou main was a sloppy nasty soup that came with a bag o stale chips that was supposed to be the crunchy part. Horrible. I don't know how this place gets 4 stars with how bad the food is. I'm guessing it's a lot of locals that just don't know any better. Will never be going back and wish I had never tried it. Great food, terrible service. 5:30pm, our group of 6 arrives and order appetizers and dinner. We're starving. The dining room is relatively empty. 5:45: we start getting antsy 6:00: the waiter brings two of three three appetizers, and two of six dinners, minus their white rice. We tell my parents to start eating, of course. 6:15 the waiter brings the missing white rice and the third appetizer 6:20: another waiter brings two more dinners. My parents are done; My husband and I are still missing ours; we start eating everyone else's. 6:40: we cancel our remaining two dinners and ask if the manager is there. They gave us 50% off and (obviously) didn't charge us for the two meals they never brought. We have had service like this (not quite this bad but in this vein) 2 of the 3 other times we've gone here. We won't eat there anymore; we might do takeout. The food is great, it's a shame service is consistently bad, at least in our experience. read more

The sushi at Jade is absolutely amazing. I am ruined at other restaurants now. I go to Jade all the time. They know my name, their personalities are good, their service is good for the most part. The bartender makes really good drinks, I suggest the one of the Mai Tais, they have six different types and you won't find another Asian restaurant with Mai Tais like theirs. The Chinese is good as well, but I prefer the sushi. This is definitely the best one in town. We have so many in town now and Jade Dragon is by far my favorite. I don't think I could ever get tired of their sushi and drinks. read more

We stopped off for dinner a week ago, it was my wife, myself and my son. The menu is basic and lacks any description for most of the dishes of whats included. The menu also features colorful stock photography of meals and sushi boats, and thats just it, its not their food, its stock photography pulled out of a book. We ordered the miso soup, house fried rice, hunan chicken and a variety of sushi rolls. The miso soup came first, but quickly I could tell it was Kikoman instant miso soup. It has a very salty flavor and tiny tiny cubed tofu. Not freshly made by any means, but not a shocker as the instant variety is used by many restaurants, i've had much better. The house fried rice was very good, but oddly had smoked ham included as one of the the meats.. The chinese pork in the rice was a bit on the fatty side. Hunan Chicken was very very good, precisely cooked vegetables that tasted fresh and crisp, and a fair amount of chicken. The sauce was tasty and not oily. The sushi presentation was done well, however the flavor left something to be desired. The California roll used some sort of chopped crab stick salad instead of just the stick. The tempura shrimp roll was ok, as was the spicy tuna. All of the sushi lacked depth and flavor and wasn't very memorable. With each bite we kept saying to each other that it just fell flat in your mouth, had no "bite" little appeal for more. Others compare this to Dynamite in Hudson, ummm, not really... Dynamite still reigns supreme in my book when it comes to sushi. We've had dinner at Jade twice..with similar results. Tonight, we had the spicy tuna rolls, house fried rice, and cashew chicken. The spicy tuna was anything but spicy and the cashew chicken had more celery than chicken. Same as last time - we ordered spicy green beans & pork but there was many more beans than meat. Unfortunately, the best thing about our meals was the white rice. The beef teriyaki was burned, the boneless ribs were tough, the chicken fingers had very thick breading which overshadowed the chicken. The cashew chicken dish was loaded with celery, canned mushrooms and very few cashews. read more

Went in and ordered the usual for my family. Pu pu platter, pork fried rice, lobster sauce, and pork strips. The waiter was on top of his game, very attentive to our table and even included my toddler and teenage son in on the conversation. Both the waiter and the hostess knew my toddler by name before we left and it made her smile from ear to ear to be offered a second helping of pineapple, just for her. All of the food was great. Rice was stuffed full of pork, egg rolls were out of this world, lobster sauce was great. Will be reheating the leftovers in the morning - and there were a lot. I'm very disappointed with this Chinese restaurant. The food was rather not that great, the Alaska maki roll did not look appetizing. The crab Rangoon's were just cream cheese. The pork fried rice was bland. The only thing I got that I enjoyed was the wonton soup. There were a lot of tables that were still in need of cleaning. About 5-6 tables. Did LOVE this place till Christmas Eve. Hadn't been there in awhile and had looked forward to having all my favorites....but nope they were not serving ANY of them on Christmas Eve....very limited menu. It was YUCK. The meal was a complete waste. The food was fast but tasteless. I think the whole meal lasted from being seated to getting the bill, maybe 45 minutes. I have put them on my DONT GO BACK list. This business is a joke. There are no competitors really so that's why they get away with their poor customer service. If you call during the first three hours they are open and there is nobody working the front to answer the phones. This review is long overdue. We've eaten there two times in the span of 6 months and both times the service, food and food presentation were fabulous. We loved sitting at the sushi bar . . . the sushi chefs are very personable. They talk to you and make suggestions - - we are definite fans of trying new sushi combos! This past week we took a booth and our server (although he had a very limited handle on the english language) was funny, sweet and offered us terrific service. We tried some traditional dishes - - - veggie Lo Mein and Spring Rolls . . . also had a sushi roll that was recommended by the sushi chef. The food is not pricey and this is a place we highly recommend if you haven't yet tried it. read more

We have never gone in and eaten at Jade Dragon, I can't comment on the atmosphere at all. The only chinese food we have ordered was fried rice and lo mein; both were fine. We really go for the sushi take-out though. The sushi is great, which I won't lie surprises me coming from a strip mall. It would be a 3.5-4.0 star in Boston I was extremely surprised with everything at Jade dragon: the decor, atmosphere, service, quality of food and price. They serve food that's on par with lilac blossom in terms of quality, at a significantly reduced price. They also have a nice selection of non-stereo type american chinese food. read more

A hidden gem in Milford. Restaurant was clean and our waiter was very friendly. My usual dish is Szechuan (Kung Pao) chicken. I got it as a daily combo with the crab rangoon. The portions were huge and the Szechuan chicken was excellent. Very fresh and tasted home made. My coworker got miso soup and sushi. Both were excellent. Definitely recommend. read more

We went there on a Thursday around 6. We were seated at a table with 2 place settings and never got the 3rd one we needed (this is minor, but adds to the whole effect). We ordered drinks, and placed our food order when the drinks arrived. My son ordered Chinese food, and we ordered sushi, and one roll as an appetizer. We got the seaweed salad we ordered, but it was mostly lettuce and tomato with some seaweed salad on top. Not what I expected at all. Another group sat at the table next to us, ordered, and received their food including the California rolls they had ordered, and we had only received the Chinese food my son had ordered. At this point I tried to flag down the waiter, but was unable to. I finally looked at my watch and realized we had been waiting for our sushi for an hour. We finally got our appetizer roll, which was ok. Then still nothing. More sitting, more waiting........ I finally went up to tell someone to get the manager. Our waiter (who I guess is also the manager) came over, and I told him that we had been waiting for over an hour. He looked at me with a blank stare, no apology, no nothing. I said it was unreasonable. Still nothing. I said I expected an apology. All he said was "Well I brought you the roll." I said yes after you brought rolls to the table next to us who arrived after we did. Still no apology, just a lame excuse about how they just had a California roll. At this point he offered us a free drink, and I told him we hadn't gotten t he drink we had ordered 15 minutes before. Still no apology, nothing. At this point we paid for what we had eaten and left. I understand that sushi takes a while to make, but at this point we were over an hour from ordering, with no end in sight. This is also a paper placemat type of restaurant, not a fine dining experience. It shouldn't take that long. read more

Had relatives visiting and we decided that we wanted Chinese food for dinner. We had not been to this restaurant for years but we decided to try it again. We arrived about 40 minutes before they closed. We were welcomed by a very friendly gentleman and taken to a table. The waiter was there within a minute and brought our tea. We all chose different dishes and when they arrived, we were amazed. Large plates of delicious food. The food was fresh . The cost was very reasonable for the size of the servings. The waiter was friendly and we never felt rushed even though we stayed past closing time. This is now our go-to place for Chinese food. read more

The best Asian restaurant north of Boston. Did not expect such authentic food up this way. I was born and raised in Milford and grew up eating less authentic food, then spent a lot of time living in heavily Asian communities in Boston and Quincy, MA. This place compares to some of the places in those areas except the staff speaks English and are very friendly. The atmosphere is a little lacking overall, but definitely go for the food! read more

So, last night we went to the Jade in Milford and I have to say it was the worst experience ever! I have been getting the same thing for quite a long time and asked for again last night and the waiter says, let me check to see if we can do that. I continue to tell him that I order it that way every time I come in and never have a problem, but he wanted to make sure anyway. Ok, fine, check.....Well, he comes back with I am sorry but we cant do that, I spoke with my manager and the only way he will do it is if I order a whole box of rice on the side! WTF! Seriously! I said, no, I want to speak with your manager please. I will see if I can get him for you, he says. He comes back with, he is busy so can not come and talk with you, sorry. I insist on seeing him and he goes back to tell him, again, and comes out, and says, he told me to tell you that he is really busy and doesnt know when he is going to free up! WOW! now isnt that customer service! HELL NO! So I am posting this for all to see and I am not stopping here! It was rude of the manager to ignore me and brush off my complaint, Make the time to see your customers you ASS! I simply wanted to talk with you and now you gone and pissed me off! read more

Terrible!!! We will NEVER eat here again. I specifically told them that I'm vegan, they told me that they'd accommodate me. Both the dishes I ordered came back with chunks of pork throughout. Disgusting! I obviously was unable to eat the food. Even the meat eaters in my family that ordered from the restaraunt, remarked that their food was only mediocre. Overcooked, slightly bland. And as for the two dishes I ordered, Absolutley Disgusting. We ordered take out, and ended up throwing away the food. As there are many options for other Chinese restaraunts to choose from, I suggest that you find another place to take your business. read more
