Great purchasing experience! They had a specific model I was interested in that's hard to find. From the first touch to post service support they have been great. Initially it started with an online contact form, Louise followed up shortly after and we scheduled a test drive. I went ahead and pre-approved and Seth in finance helped me out. After I did that long drive from Redwood City the car and Louise was waiting out front for me and away we went. Finally once I was done and agreed to purchase the process was extremely quick. Another finance manager helped me (Syed?). Louise got the car ready, gassed up and sent me on my way. Surprisingly their Sales Manager calls me today and asks how the sale went, if I had any questions or service needs. Solid follow up, they really want you to be happy. Never have I had a dealership call me asking how it went after. Overall very happy! Forewarning: this may sound dramatic, but I would rather dive head first onto concrete before taking our car to Livermore JLR ever again. I was going to make this a funny & entertaining review, but they don't deserve humor one bit. We come from BMW, MB, & Audi where service is top tier, so we know what to expect & how to be treated as customers. We aren't picky people either... you just notice little things that are lacking when you're used to exceptional service. Our Jaguar E-Pace has been at this service center maybe 3-5 times the past 2 years for basic service, recalls, & even warranty work when parts fail (the car is not even 3 years old). When the woman of the house would take the car in, the service advisors (Ben) would talk down to her and assume she knows absolutely nothing about anything at all--speaking in condescending tones, looking at her with blatant dumbfounded looks, & even being aggressive with her. When a male would take the car in, it was completely the opposite--BIG red flag. This is only one experience out of many we have had here, but this is also the one that made us leave Livermore JLR & switch to Walnut Creek--the best possible thing to do. So, please reconsider Livermore after a brief read of our last exchange that truly pushed us over the edge. The last time we took the car here was because the plastic piece inside the headlight housing that controls the light beam somehow broke completely--light was being thrown in every direction, blinding oncoming cars, not illuminating the roadway at night, etc. We are a working family, so a loaner vehicle was necessary during the time of repairs. We told Joel, the service advisor, to schedule us the next available date with a loaner. After being forgotten about & following up with him the next month, he said the entire bumper of the vehicle needed to be replaced--which we questioned, but went along with him anyway. We had to fight with them for an appointment & a loaner which is just ridiculous in the first place. I dropped off the car that morning & went over everything about the car to another advisor who wrote everything on separate small sticky notes... super professional. We were told several times the repair would take 1-2 days which is why we needed the loaner. Turns out the repair was only 6 hours... didn't need a loaner in the first place. Cool. When we picked up the car, we asked if the bumper was replaced... Joel looked at me like I was stupid & questioned why it would need to be replaced. I told him that HE was the one to say it needed to be. He said he never said that & I referred him to his own text messages and walked out. During this whole ordeal, Joel had the worst attitude, tone, and completed it with condescending smirks. I just jump in the car and get out of there as fast as I can. I get home, inspect the headlight, and notice the entire bumper & headlight is misaligned--literally spots of the bumper not flush and parts of the headlight bulging out of the panels. The headlight was even loose and moved when touched--it definitely was not secured in place. I call the dealership & service center, leave a voicemail for the manager, and never received a phone call back. Super unprofessional. We took it to Walnut Creek JLR, and I swear to you--it was a complete opposite experience from Livermore. You drive up, they open your door & greet you with a smile, positive attitude, ask what is going on and what's needed, offer water, etc. Something Livermore NEVER did. Turns out Livermore didn't attach the bumper or headlight housing correctly. Essentially, the whole front end could be torn off at any point. Walnut Creek fixed the car in an accurate timeline, and even washed it... again, Livermore did only 1 time out of all the times we've been there. Just to put it in short from our experience, Joel is extremely unpleasant, unaware/clueless, and disorganized. And it makes it worse there's nobody "above" him on their website to contact to get issues resolved. Even with a voicemail left to a manager, nobody contacted us after. JLR OF NORTH AMERICA (corporate) contacted us because of this complaint--the dealership did not. Kinda crazy to not want to fix a poor repair job that's actually a safety issue, huh? Please reconsider this dealership when needing service. Take it to Walnut Creek and save yourself brain cells by avoiding countless headaches & running in circles each time you contact them. read more

A quick update to the review based on the comment left by the community manager / general sales manager. My offer was NOT discussed/reviewed with me. No replies to the e-mail where I proposed a price, no attempt to do a phone call (no missed calls or voicemails left) despite my offering to do discuss on a Zoom/Skype call. Literally only two responses back ever, one of which was "Yes, it is still available." and "yes we can let that unit go for $x dollars plus any fees you would have to pay." which was HIGHER than the listed price on the site! That was literally EVERYTHING I heard back from anyone at the dealer. For the record, the price discount I was asking for was inconsequential for a vehicle that was listed for sale for close to 2 months. Sure, I did not attempt to call anyone at the dealer after the two e-mails went unanswered, but when I'm looking across several markets, doing research on market conditions, focusing on the out-the-door price, plus everything else I need to do in my life, it's pretty cut and dry and I don't have a lot of time to enter into extended high-pressure sales conversations. Discussing the vehicle selling price (before fees and taxes and attempted add-ons) is reasonably straightforward. Any vehicle shopper considering going to this dealership should be forewarned they are not honest brokers. read more

Car shopping can be a stressful, daunting and terrifying experience but the team at Jaguar Land Rover Livermore helped change this entire perspective for me. Our Corolla was on her final legs after an amazing 14 year run and we weren't quite sure what our options were going to be as we entered the market. We knew we wanted a family car and we're looking at SUV options. Our parents being familiar with the Jaguar brand, had referred us to the team at JLR Livermore just to look and see. I wasn't expecting much since it felt like a stretch to jump straight to shopping for a luxury car. I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from these lying, incompetent idiots. I purchased the vehicle on January 2, and arranged for it would be delivered the next day. After explaining to Louie, the salesman, that I had several appointments the following afternoon, he promised the vehicle would arrive "first thing in the morning". The next morning I called Louie and he gave me the "Oh well" attitude and only after several more calls and texts was it finally delivered at 4:15 P.M. costing me an entire days work. After two months and still not receiving the license plates or registration I called Louie again and got the "Oh well" attitude. Once the temporary plates expired, I called Louie again, he told me I had to call Wali Razaqi, the sales manager. Wali gave me only excuses and no answers. It took these idiots nearly 5 Months just to file the registration with the DMV. It took them 140 days from the date of purchase, WTF I expected much better from such a high-end dealership. The summary for this review is: great deals, but beware of car treatment on the lot! Apparently, scratches and dings in a brand new Jaguar "can happen" (according to a sales manager) at this dealership. The longer version of this review: I have been in the market for a red Jaguar F-Pace for a bit more than half a year and hence was very happy to see that this dealer just got nearly exactly the car that I wanted. Hence, I called Mike (General Sales Manager) and he offered me a great deal in that all the points I had wanted, he made happen together with Wali, who was the Product Specialist that I was working with on the deal. This alone would have been a 5 star+ review. The whole deal took a great turn to the worse when I was to pick up the car the next day. It was cleaned and upon reviewing it again, I saw a huge scratch on the left rear door (easy to spot), a ding in the same door (harder to see), scratches on the left corner of the rear bumper (easy to spot) as if somebody ran into some obstacle, and a scratch on the right passenger door, which in comparison was minor, but visible. Three days later, I left the dealer with a scratch in my rear bumper for which I got a due bill (thanks to Mike & Wali) so that I can get it replaced if I cannot get over it. I also left the dealer knowing that my brand new Jaguar has at least one scratch that was buffed out so that one would not see it anymore. Don't get me wrong, I am sure that other brand new cars have similar issues, but normally, the customer would not know, as those blemishes would have been removed before presenting the car to the customer, which makes a huge difference in experience! Bottom line is that I took the deal, as I spent six months looking for this car and eight hours trying to get it in a pristine condition; I also got a deal that was too good to pass on and Mike was indeed helpful to make the best out of the situation although, he did share the opinion that the car was delivered back to me in pristine condition eventually and after they took another day to "fix" the remaining blemishes... For that reason, I only gave them a 3-star review. I also clearly have second thoughts about taking my new car to service at a (Jaguar) dealership where "scratches and dings can happen". read more

This place is absolutely amazing! My husband sent an email early in the morning, inquiring about an XE prestige sedan that I've been interested in. Ben Simpson, one of their Product Specialist promptly responded to let us know that the car was sitting in their showroom. We trekked our way there and within 2 hours, Ben took us on a test drive, worked with us on the pricing, offered up all the current promotions and gave us the option to take advantage of which promotions made most sense for us. He even went as far as to disclose their dealer purchase invoice to show us how transparent he was in his sales process. Long story short, Ben made this by far THE MOST pleasant visit I have ever had leaving a dealership with a brand new car to my name! And those who know us knows that we've been to more than our fair share of dealers because all our car purchases have been brand new and haggling over prices is something I just absolutely have no patience for. When unexpected problems developed with my Jag, whether the problem was minor or major, the experience was first class. John Quinones has always been a tremendous resource of information and assistance, and whenever I had to part with my Jag for any amount of time more than a few hours, a loaner vehicle was provided and the process was absolutely stress free. I remember that shortly after I purchased my F-Type, a very rare and unique issue developed, which I was able to identify and find a technical bulletin for on Jaguar forums. The Service Manager Alex Nocon listened attentively, took my report of the problem and my own research seriously, found and verified the problem and solution, and made the repair process smooth and pleasant. Since then, every time I return to Jaguar Livermore for a service or repair, or even for a simple question, I am welcomed like family, and feel right at home. I have noticed this establishment making proactive changes over the last year. You may see other reviews about their phones going unanswered, which I briefly struggled with as well, but they addressed this by hiring an answering service so that customers' time is well spent; I haven't had a problem since. Also, the shop is currently under construction for improved and streamlined service; I think embarking on this undertaking during COVID-19 is both wise, and difficult, and I salute them for taking the opportunity to improve my experience during this trying time. read more

Roy then worked with me through the order and delivery process - always responding promptly to questions, frequently checking in with updates as he had them. This is the most sadly run auto dealership that I've ever dealt with in my 65 years. This has been the worst experience I ever had to deal with. Asti treated me to a true 5 star experience. She had the vehicle that I came to see parked right up front and ready to roll. I had come to check out a used truck from a trade-in, which was a Dodge, not a Jag nor a Land Rover that they sell here. I had scheduled my appointment the day previous, and she had obviously done her homework on that truck, because she showed me some nuances about that fully loaded Ram that I wasn't even aware of. My wait time with financing was practically nil, and the whole process, including test drive, financing, playing with my dog Bubba, and detailing took under 2 hours out the door, thanks to Asti. My experience here was horrible!! Poor representation of Jaguar! Took my Jaguar here for airbag recall that's free but John in service try's to rip you off with up sale of service. Being that I traveled 30 minutes to get here I was promised a loaner car until my car was ready.
