So we were driving towards Deception Pass and saw this HUGE warehouse with the word CREAMERY on it…read more My wife immediately started googling. Bookmarked for our return trip. We actually made it on our way back and so glad we did. They have a lot of unique flavors. We just got a couple double scoops so we could try more flavors! Once Baked Cookie Dough (5): My wife loves the traditional cookie dough so this piqued our interest. If you've ever had a pizookie, its sort of like that. Sort of underbaked and soft. It was delicious! Coffee Toffee Crunch (5): Can't go wrong with a coffee/toffee combo. Their slow churned process makes this really creamy and delicious! Wild Blackberry (4): Curiosity got to us on this one since wild blackberries seem to be everywhere up here. I've had some really good ones and some really questionable ones. This was good. What I'd expect. What this proved to me was their sweet cream base is amazing and can be paired with anything really. Lemon Raspberry (5): Wasn't expecting much but this one blew me away. This was my favorite of the group! Sweet and tart and fruity all at the same time with no flavor overpowering another. Very good. Cold Brew Float (4): This is really just a cup of the ice cream of your choice. Then you grab a can of their cold brew and pour it on top. I went with their mint chip. It was good. The cold brew was good. This is something I feel like I'd do at home too. (and I think I will cause we're taking some pints home!) Overall, a great stop on your way to wherever. They have pints to take home as well. Luckily we had a cooler in the car so we took home our favorite flavors. We'll be making this a stop whenever we're in the area now.

Lots of flavours to choose from here, with a good mix of unique options and more familiar classics…read more The ice cream definitely felt premium, with a rich, high-cream-content texture that made it feel a step above your typical ice cream shop. We tried the blackberry pint, which was nice and not overly sweet, although I felt like the blackberry flavour itself could have come through a bit more. The pints are also a great deal, and I would have picked some up to take home if they had dry ice available. Too bad they don't, since that would make it much easier to bring some back with you. Overall, a really nice afternoon treat, especially if you can enjoy it out on the patio. Would definitely come back again if I'm in the area.

Living in Anacortes, we certainly have choices when it comes to where we stock our pantries. Sure,…read moreyou can head just a few blocks over to Safeway and save a bit of cash, as many of the prices at "The Market" tend to run noticeably higher. But for a long time, I thought supporting a local spot was worth the extra coin for the neighborhood vibe. Unfortunately, my last weekend trip completely soured that experience. They say that in the produce section, just one bad apple can spoil the entire bunch--and the exact same philosophy applies to customer service. If you happen to shop on a weekend, you might just run into their most disagreeable staff members, prime examples of whom seem to be holding down the registers. Take Lee F., for instance. I expected a pleasant checkout, but instead received an experience defined by sharp, deeply rude responses that left me wondering why she is stationed anywhere near the public. If management has any sense of self-preservation for their customer base, they might want to consider shifting her to the overnight crew where human interaction isn't a requirement. Until they figure out that a sour cashier can ruin an entire shopping experience just as fast as bruised fruit, I'll be taking my grocery budget elsewhere.
