Usually I love to order this on the menu, because I love how fresh and natural the ingredients are. However, I had a different experience on my most recent order. Although the toppings on the bowl looked beautifully cut, beneath it was completely watered down. It was so "liquid-y" that it made it unappealing and difficult to eat. I'm not sure if they recently hired new employees to make the smoothies, but this past experience makes me not want to get another acai bowl from them again because it's not worth the price. Visit was on August 10, 2019 After a super long day trying to adopt from the humane society, I just wanted a refreshing açaí bowl. They were joking and playing around while putting the açaí bowl together which would be fine if the bowl turned out alright. Food: Açaí bowls from Jamba Juice aren't the best but this was THE ABSOLUTE WORST I have ever had. The açaí was icy, like you could physically see the ice through the clear bowl. This Jamba is the slowest out of the two in Mililani. I don't know what it is, but I end up spending most of my time waiting around for my orders here. Doesn't matter how simple or complex my order is, it always takes a while. I make sure I have the time to wait around before I decide on coming here just so I'm not late or getting irate. Aside from the wait time, all the employees are friendly. May not be the best with customer service or the most knowledgeable, but at least they try their best. In general, prices for all Jamba Juices are pretty pricey. So, either it's a day to splurge or a very special expensive treat for the kiddos. Although they try to market themselves as a healthy snack, I know most of the items are full of sugar... I just tell myself it's better than a milkshake??? lol. Because they are right next to Starbucks, it's always a toss up on which to choose. Either way, both are good. This location is right in front of the parking lot so that's always nice and convenient. So disappointed. We went there and ordered 3 Acai bowls. On our way home we noticed they base was runny. By the time we got home it was completely runny. We tried freezing it for an hour and it didn't work, it was like the consistency of water. We live half a mile away, so it should've held up. First review of 2016 and wish it could've been better. Went during lunch the other day and waited about 20 minutes from the time of order to receipt of drink. FAIL! The girl behind the register moved slow and didn't have management of the store/orders. She kept taking orders and looked reluctant to help the other worker making all the smoothies. At some point, she should've stopped taking orders and helped catch up on smoothie orders. She did end up making my smoothie and after a 20 minute wait, just chucks the drink on the counter and calls out the order - no, sorry for the wait or anything! She had an irritated/disgusted look on her face - do not work here if you do not like your job! The other girl making the smoothies, I think, is fairly new (I came several months back and she told me she was new). I did see/hear her apologizing to customers for the wait so she was polite. Unfortunately she was only making 1 smoothie at a time (I used to see the experienced ones making several at a time). Maybe she needs more training though I don't she will get it from grouchy register-girl! As an overall note, I'm sorry but Jamba Juice has gone downhill while their prices have gone uphill. I love coming to this location. Every time, I come here I am greeted with a warm welcome. I always get my normal drink, which is always an "Orange Dream Machine". I feel that they always make it on point as opposed to the Waikele location that seems a bit watery or light flavor. This year of 2014, I started going back to Jamba Juice because I haven't been to Jamba in about two years. Some things have changed such as their rewards club in where you input your phone number (you can also register online via e-mail). If you buy so many drinks, I believe that you get a discount off your next drink or so. One time during my stay I got free oatmeal to try out. I was really stoked. So I don't usually have problems with jamba juice locations because I figure there's a universal standard across the board when it comes to training employees on how to make each menu item. Today is 12/21 and I ordered around 10am this morning. I ordered two sausage wraps, an orange c booster and an acai bowl. So I walk into every place with zero stars (no expectations) so as I continue my review I will add and deduct stars based on events that happened. So starting with service +1 star for being greeted, +1 star for answering my questions regarding my gift card, +1 star for being patient with my order, +1 star for being quick with my order *(however maybe too quick because -1/2 star for my wraps being practically frozen when we got home to eat them (not sure what happened they were practically ice cold when we took them out of the package maybe she forgot to actually heat it lol), -1/2 star for not properly blending the orange c booster there were chunks of fruit and not easy to drink, -1/2 star for forgetting the honey in the acai bowl which really helps balance the flavor otherwise it's more on the sour side and I guess either the banana was small or they only had 1/3 of a banana to use lol), +1 star for politely letting me know my order was ready. Given it is the holidays and a few people walked in after me, perhaps the two young girls rushed the order and didn't quite check it before giving it to me. I thought it was strange I didn't feel heat coming from the bags with the wraps in them. I frequent the airport location and service has been great and food and drink is consistent no matter when I go and I don't come to Mililani often and it may have just been a bad morning for them or maybe they felt like they needed to hurry since a few more people walked in after me (one being a family of four I believe and another couple and one more guy). So nothing against the lovely girls working this morning but just don't rush the orders and check them before they go out. Went in today with my husband and noticed there were two workers working. The worker that was working the register took the customer's order who was ahead of us and left to help make drinks. The worker didn't even excuse herself or let us know that she will be right back knowing we were standing there to order. There were two customers ahead of us waiting for their drinks. We waited for about 5 minutes and when the worker came back, she did not apologize for the wait. Now see, I have no problem with helping coworkers out when it gets "busy" but please do not forget about manners and customer service. This was the first time for me at this location and I think I came at a really REALLY bad time (3:00) since the kids just finished school and all food places seemed busy except for this place at first. We were behind these three high school girls talking and joking around with the sales associate, Angel. They took forever to decide what to order and when they finally do decide and pay due to only having 2 workers on staff the drinks and payments took forever. Personally I don't mind if you talk story to people you know but you can clearly see a line is forming so maybe as a sales associate move that interaction a long and continue doing your job and serve other people especially if you are short handed. By the time those three orders were done there was 8 people behind us still waiting to order and three people who walked in and walked out. We finally order and due to the great advertising we wanted to try one of the pumpkin drinks to get that taste of Fall. But we are informed about 3-4 minutes after we place our order that they are out of pumpkin and have to select something else. The hard part was that my husband didn't really want a Jamba Juice and just wanted to try that one because we were there and now had to decide on something quick because he didn't want to wait in the line for a refund or cause more of a delay to all the other customers who have been waiting to order. If you are out of a an item that's being advertised I think you should say something before we order so we can decide something else or go else where. How hard is it to say "out of" "sorry, no more". Horrible service today. I came in with my son and asked for 2 separate transactions to use our BOGO cards up by the last day. The girl at the register seemed new and did not charge me right, it was double the price. I tried to tell her that it was 2 SEPARATE transactions but she called for help 3 times. Then the girl helping her said they aren't allowed to do that for the same fundraiser card. I said I have 3.. she can pick a different one. It was just rudeness and incompetence that blew me away. I'm not one so speak up about bad experiences because I also work in the food industry so I understand that sometimes stress and pressure causes you to make poor decisions. HOWEVER, this experience was so disappointing that I feel the need to warn people of it. My girlfriend and I go in and order 3 sausage and egg breakfast wraps, and one medium banana berry smoothie. Mind you, it was not busy whatsoever, and probably maybe five or so customers with non-complex orders. For an order that would normally take about 5 minutes to 10 minutes max, nearly took 20 minutes. When the order was finished, my girlfriend explains that there were only two burritos and that we ordered three, and the excuse we received was "Sorry, but I only charged you for two." And the woman who made her drink, told her when it was done being made that they had run out of bananas for her banana berry smoothie. Visibly irritated, I decided to just take the things and leave just hoping that was as bad as it could get. We get into the car and my girlfriend bites into her burrito and it's burnt. I'd say about 80% of the wrap was burnt black. I go to grab mine and it's very cold in certain spots. I bite into it and I chomp onto frozen egg and sausage bits, and the cheese isn't even melted. My girlfriend then tries her drink and the drink was so watered down that it was hard to even taste the berries. I really hate to give negative reviews, unless it's truly deserved. This store has gone downhill since its opening. This last trip is the third time in a row that an order has been messed up. I normally like to give a little leniency if it is ridiculously busy, but this time there is no exception as my mother was the ONLY ONE in the store.
