I didn't catch his name so I'm going to call him Curly haired Cashier. Today the store ran out of Soy Milk, no big deal we thought, but the drinks we usually get didn't taste right. We were skeptical about going back in and asking for a remake because we didn't want to be those people, but we did; sadly. The curly haired cashier politely apologized and offered other smoothie recommendations that we would like or refund us our purchase. We decided on other drinks and he instantly started making them for us. Mind you, it's Easter and other customers are in the store, not too many though. He walked the drinks out to us, apologized once more, and went back to work. We are very happy with his service as well as his teammates. He didn't sound frustrated or annoyed as I would of sounded in his position. Probably because I'm a brat, but still! I come here a lot in the mornings. Drinks are always good and up until today the staff have always been courteous and customer oriented. Today though...oh boy...the dark skinned girl wearing a hoodie took my order and made my drink. Either she was hung over or someone shit in her cereal this morning because she did not want to be there. It's not very often that I could say I get a good cup of Pink Starburst. It's probably one of out four times that I get a cup of Pink Star from someone who really knows how to make a smoothie. I was having a bad day and this was the closest location to my work. I downloaded the Jamba Juice app so I could save some time, but the app did not have the secret menu on there. I came in, ordered my drink, got $3 off from downloading the app, and paid for my drink. The employees were really nice, had big smiles, and last of all: The guy who made my smoothie is legit af. So I love this location! The service here is 5 stars. They have large beach chairs outside to sit on and even brought out my drink to me when it was done! I was shocked. Twas a day that started off with my immune system saying "go F yourself Danny, I'm taking the day off." I had muscle aches and a soar throat that felt like Slimer from the Ghostbusters flew into the back of my throat when I was sleeping. Unfortunately I couldn't really play hooky on the tasks that my day had in store for me, so I was in search of some remedies. I started the day with some hot tea and Asprin. Neither really did anything for me and as the day continued I started feeling more and more like a bag of a$$. I tried a couple other options: hot soup, gargling with salt water, and a throat lozenge or 2. Nothing really worked and so during a bit of down time I took a little napski to and regain my strength. As I slept, I dreamt I was on an Island. Bob Marley appeared he began to sing..... Alright Were Jambin I wanna Jamba with you Were Jambin And I hope you like Jambin too. I'm no dream analyst, but I'm pretty sure that when the dreadlocked rasta comes to you in a dream you listen to what he's saying! So when I awoke I went to the nearest Jamba Juice and got a large Orange/Pinapple/Bananna smoothie with an immune booster. Goodness gracious!!! I am sorry but every single time I come here, they make my smoothie horribly. It is not a smoothie consistency AT ALL and it's so watery. It's like they put two pieces of fruit and then 95% of it is the juice. It's so annoying because I'm ordering a smoothie, yet getting a drink that is vanilla coconut milk with one strawberry blended in. So expensive for what it is! Jamba! I like Jamba juice...so sue me! Nice on hot days and a huge savior when I was in my first trimester and nauseous all the time. As long as you understand smoothies are like fruit juice (lots of sugar) and get the small size you'll be ok! My favorite was the Kiwi Berry Burner- but they don't have that one any more!! Makes me sad :( So, after a year or so of boycotting, I mustered up the courage to move on to the Caribbean Passion. Great choice! I frequent this Jamba Juice franchise a lot-it's very close to my neighborhood, and parking isn't difficult to find its just getting back onto Rosecrans St that makes it a pain with all the daily traffic. The positive attitude from the staff are contagious with each visit. My only complaint is they didn't know what a Dirty Orgasm was (I don't blame them I usually have a Sour Patch Kid or a Blue Gummy) but its the fact that the kid at the counter asked me to pull out my phone to look it up? What's up with that how would you even know I have internet capability on my phone? I came by on a Wednesday evening, and there was a steady line a few people deep. I was really impressed by the service of the three ladies working that night, they had a streamlined system and didn't look like they were wasting a single movement and they flowed from register to blender while smiling the whole time. They looked efficient but not rushed. I got an acai bowl, which was great except that there were chunks of what looked like still frozen yogurt that didn't get mixed into the acai. If you asked me when jamba first came out I would have given it 5 stars but there are so many other places now that offer healthy or fresher options like Nekter for example. Nathan and I had just finished an evening of triathlon training and were CRAVING the juice. Called the nearest Jamba (this one) and were told that they closed in like 15 minutes. After a rough morning and a gym work out that basically felt like I had been smacked repeatedly in all extremities with a baseball bat, I decided to do myself a service by getting a strawberry surfrider with protein. While the smoothie was just ok (I've had better at other Jamba locations) the real reason for my "scathing" review was because of the banana I purchased. Who serves rotten fruit at a friggin fresh fruit smoothie location?! I did the traditional "feel around the banana to make sure it's not bruised" thing and it seemed ok. I go into work and prepare to indulge in my banana treat when I notice that not only does it look like it's been stepped on and pumped back up with air (I don't know how that's possible....) but the entire inside of the banana was BLACK. So I'm here with a mediocre smoothie that tastes chalky from the protein powder, but that's not the most upsetting - I've had to throw away my glorious banana. This place has the best frozen yogurt I have ever had. It is so smooth and creamy. They have so many unique flavors to choose from. I have a different one every time I visit. The toppings are also great. The staff are friendly and always have helpful. When I don't know what I want, they either give me plenty of time to decide or they make recommendations. Coming from experience of working at Jamba Juice for a few years, I know good customer service when I see it. I ordered a Chocolate Moo'd w/ banana specifically asking for it THICK! Along with a Pom Pick Me Up. I notice the Pick Me Up was being made completely wrong. Following the Paradise fruits. I had to confront the team member to apply it right. He seemed really lost and the shift manager did nothing but continue to work on the crathcos. I then received my Chocolate Moo'd and it was thinner than water. I hated to waste the TMs time in making me another drink, but I expected what I ordered. I would definitely have a talk with the team members/shift managers on product knowledge and applying BOOST to every customers ESPECIALLY when it is a slow hour. read more
