Jamba Juice is always a hit or miss depending on the worker who makes the smoothies. I'm giving this place 4 stars because my good experience outweighs my not so good ones. And my NOT SO GOOD ones include very watered down smoothies and I often have one issue with Jamba Juice locations. I always order a small Mega Mango ($5.05) with added kale (+$0.75). If I pay for something extra to be added, such as kale that would increase the portion size, I expect to get my money's worth even it means putting my drink in a bigger cup. If things were more consistent, I'd be a happier customer. read more

Meh, I have experienced better. If we had to categorize the three main juice franchises (Jamba Juice, Juice It Up, and Robeks) into the Karate Kid Trilogy, this is how I would do so. Karate Kid 1 = Jamba Juice It's the OG juice franchise (post Juice Club, of course) and it's been with us for a while. I say 90% in the world knows about it. It has your classic treats that are quite familiar. If you're a Jamba Juice enthusiast, then you would know the secret menu stuff, similarly to knowing what "Kobra Kai" and a bodybag is in the movie. Your first time feels like you're performing the crane kick on that bully in elementary...but then the more you go, you realize how the sugary taste exploits its fakeness. Karate Kid 2 = Juice It Up The best of the 3, hands down. Not as known, but the quality of the experience is much much greater. It feels they put a lot more effort into it. Although Karate Kid II was filmed in Hawaii, it's a lot better than a high school multi-purpose room. The ingredients in a smoothie is as quality as the Asians they actually used in the film. And, the story is as rich and heartwarming as the healthy picks of Juice It Up's organic menu. Karate Kid 3 = Robeks Unless my or my family's lives depended on it, I will never ever ever experience this ever again....ever. It is dead to me. Everything tastes orangy, which is as sour as Daniel's wanna-be segal-pony-tail wearing corporate devil nemesis... Thomas Ian Griffith (That's not even an evil name...WTF?). The workers there were great, in such a chipper mood, even at 10pm at night with a line wrapped out the door and one of the hottest days in SD. I really do like Jamba Juice. For the most part, I've received pretty good service here. SO why am I giving it two stars? Because this store's GM (tall white blonde girl) is extremely rude in every interaction I've had with her. I'm in customer service so i'm very passionate about making sure that customers feel wanted because they are what holds the business. But this chick does not know how to be kind. Maybe I always get her on a bad day, but this is unacceptable for ANY day. She is unhelpful, irritated, and cold. When I asked the cashier a question, she snapped and hurried into our conversation to shut what I wanted down. She did not offer an alternative drink or even speak directly TO me, but about me to her cashier. It's too bad. If Jamba wants to remain billionaires, I suggest you get rid of your GM here. read more

I admit it.. I'm a fan of the JJ. If it wasn't for some of their specialty drinks, I'd probably have no reason to come here. But amongst the similar juice bars out there, this company is still one of the tops. So why do I give it 3 stars? Well, it's mainly for this location. It's always had a problem with long waits and cleanliness. A lot of times, it's hit or miss and I've learned that if there's a large crowd waiting, it's best to pass this one by because you can be sure to wait about 15 min for your order. I'm trying to look at it from the employees perspective because it does seem like they are working hard. They have got all the blenders on overdrive so it could be a customer is ordering a ton of crap for the office or other factors which could hold up things significantly. But whatever the case, a crowd is there for a reason, so try again later perhaps. They've gotten better with the cleanliness factor though. From a long previous visit to this JJ, I was pretty annoyed about the smell that lingered in the store(you know it's bad if you can still remember the scent, bleh!) That would be a big reason why they would leave their doors propped open throughout the day. However, today I came in and noticed they redid the flooring and added another seating area. It looked pretty good and what's more, the smell was gone! I spoke to one of the employees about the change and they said that the odor was emanating from the old tile and no matter how much they tried to clean it, it would never go away. Management finally decided to change the flooring, which I think was a really smart idea.....like 3 years ago!! Why they never did this earlier you got me. Nevertheless, the place is much more pleasant to enter now. Drinks are still good and nothing different from the other locations. If you enjoy Orange Julius(don't see many around nowadays) I'd recommend the Orange Dream Machine. It still brings me back when I'm in need of that juice kick. read more

Farts, floaties and fuzzies!!!! I loooove jamba juice. It's a perk for living in the west coast. Pretty convenient and this particular one is a couple of blocks away from my place. That said, those are the goods. Farts - First I thought it was Bernadette M. who ripped one. So I was nice and tried to bear through it, but I was like damn, that was a good SBD. Actually it wasn't Bern, but the workers. You knew it was them since they had that smirk on their faces, that sinister grin that only a farter has. I know that grin, and have had personally experienced that grin before. That and I think they crop-dusted the farts as well. Fuzzies - Bern had fuzzies/floaties in her drink. Again gross, dirty and disgusting. More farts - Yah they farted again, and they enjoyed doing it too. I'm still a fan, will continue to come to this and other jamba juices' in the Socal area. Just want to make sure the consumer is aware of the shady stuff that goes on in this establishment. read more

I've been going here since they opened and I have only had 2 problems in the last 8 years so that's pretty rad! They also make the best Orange carrot karma out of all the jamba juices. The fresh orange is really sour though so you're better off getting fresh OJ from Smart and Final across the parking lot. The reason why I gave 4 stars is because sometimes they wont call out your name and smoothie which is how another person took my smoothie one time. And another time they accidentally made me the wrong smoothie and when I brought it back the lady didn't say anything or show any facial expressions and just dunked it in the trash. Kinda hurt my feelings, but they remade the right one. And don't get me wrong, I understand they had to throw it away because a lot of dishonest people do that sometimes to try and get an extra free smoothie. Also if your coming in a group, please give them a heads up so they're better prepared. It's not fun coming in after a group who just got off of sports practice and your smoothie takes 20-25 mins to make. read more

My personal favorite is the Chunky Strawberry Bowl. It also contains bananas and peanut butter YUM :) The acai primo bowl is a healthy and delicious option as well. Their Sourdough Parmesan Pretzel is my select choice from their baked goods. They offer some honey mustard to go with it. The apple cinnamon pretzel is the sweeter option. If you are craving something more on the sweet and creamy side, go with the Peanut Butter Moo'd or the Matcha Green Tea Blast. Wouldn't consider these drinks to be a lighter options but they are delicious and worth it. read more

The other locations are always super crowded and the atmosphere doesn't match this place. My favorite thing is when I order a shot of wheat grass, and there was extra left over instead of throwing it out they simply gave me more (which was almost every time). Jamba Juice is a slurpee, soft-shaved ice, fruit freeze, summer breeze goodness and I order two 16 oz. JJ's because their marketing whizzes offered up a 2 for 5 bucks coupee I just couldn't just let roll by. So? Yeah...so what? Here's what: 1st name tag: ALECIA 2nd name tag: ELI YUP. It's their service. At least on this day....can't speak for any other day, but today...they whooped A+ customer satisfaction on the hordes of zombie-esque (including me) fruit-thirsty minions who just wanted to get their JJ hand-offs and get out. I love the fruity smell at Jamba Juice. I always end up getting the same things over &over. Either the Strawberries Wild or Strawberry Whirl. Pretty much tastes exactly the same I think the only difference is one is made of only fruits. No milk or yogurt or whatever. Occasionally I'll get a Peach Perfection depends how I'm feeling. If I'm craving something more on the sour side I'll order a Strawberry Surf Rider. I just ordered the Chili Mango and I give it a 5/5. So delicious! Perfect amount of spice you would want sprinkled on top of your Mangos. So yummy! And don't forget about their Sourdough Parmesan Pretzels and Belgium Waffles! So hard not to order both! read more

Much needed for the long, hot summer days! I luckily had the fortune in running into a good Samaritan who gave me a buy one get one free coupon! So I ended up with two Acai Super-antioxidant Smoothie for $5. I thought the drink tasted a little more like the orange sorbet that they add instead of acai berries, which was a little disappointing to me but I guess it might have been the server that day. My personal favorite drink: Citrus Squeeze. They don't have it on the menu but its one of those classics that used to be there and is now on the secret menu.
