Had another wonderful Easter brunch here. Made a reservation. Service is always excellent and on point. Casual clean setting. (Wish some of the chairs were more comfortable). Has the Pickled Things, chick peas Crispy Eggs, All Day Eggs, Short Rib sandwich, Blueberry Pancakes. Everything was fantastic per usual! Fresh, beautifully presented and delicious.

Second date update - just as good as the first time!! Service is outstanding, the food is fresh and as a person with many food sensitivities, I felt safe here knowing they are seed oil free with high quality beef. The restaurant atmosphere feels more like you're visiting a friends house than a business and I love that. It's a place to linger over a wonderful meal.

Smashed potatoes and 1/2 of my keto burger

I visited on a Friday around 2pm, so there were no parking issues or crowds. The restaurant was clean and comfortable....nice ambiance. I had the Mint Cucumber Iced Tea and the High Vibe Popcorn. I didn't taste any cucumber in the tea, but it was refreshing. The popcorn tasted like a gourmet style, cooked with coconut oil and turmeric. In addition. I had the keto burger and smash potatoes. They use good quality beef in the burger. The potatoes tasted fresh off the grill. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The ordering/paying process is a little quirky. You sit down with a menu and are served water. Then you go to the register to order. But don't pay at the register, and don't pay until you're finished eating. All in all, I was glad I tried James P. I've driven by frequently, but had never stopped in.

    Take home, utensils. So, cute.

If it weren't for this event, I never would have known about this eatery. Surprisingly, I was speaking to a coworker about their menu, and she loves visiting this establishment for their happy hour and for some of their dishes. I did view the menu before visiting, as some of the reviews mentioned, their prices are on the higher scale, and because of that, I settled for their tart. The prices were not an issue, but some of the things said, were. I didn't want to chance spending almost thirty dollars on an underseasoned or underwhelming meal. Berry Tart - The lemon curd was a bit sour; however, when mixed with the berry coulis, it was good. The crust was not edible for me; it was very dry and fell apart in my mouth, and the texture was very off-putting. It left an aftertaste in my mouth, and it is still lingering, after eating some of it over an hour ago. High Vibe Popcorn - I actually enjoyed the popcorn, but parts of it were very salty. Minus the salt, if I ever visit this eatery again, we will definitely have to get an order of this. Cucumber Mint Tea - So refreshing! You could only taste a hint of cucumber, and it was very heavy on the mint. I'm not complaining, I'm a mint person and enjoyed every sip. Overall, I don't know if I'll visit again, but I'm happy I was able to experience some of what they have to offer. I did see a few things on the menu (soups) I'd love to try, maybe this Fall or Winter, I'll head that way again. I love their concept, clean eating/vegan, with a selection for carnivores as well.

    Summer burger

Two of the best burgers I've eaten in a long long time! We had the summer burger and the short rib burger between us and it was a coin toss for the best one - the short rib burger was super juicy with a beautiful subtle spice kick to it (chimichurri) while the summer burger had a dreamy creamy avocado spread on it. The turmeric popcorn was super delicious too and well worth the price of yellow stained fingers - lol The decor was nice but for the high standard of the food they serve - you would expect a little cozier surroundings. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area though!

Came here for a yelp event and got a couple of freebies! It was nice and refreshing. Got to try the cucumber mint tea and peach sorbet. The tea came unsweetened and the peach sorbet was tart and sweet. The texture of the sorbet was thicker ice crystal, not soft and fine texture like I'm used to in a sorbet. I did end up adding the sorbet into my tea to sweeten it up a bit. It has bits of pureed peaches in it that was nice. The atmosphere inside is casual quick dining. I think from the name, I thought it was more sit down restaurant. But it is order at the counter and have a seat with a number. Everyone seems very nice here. The restaurant is very clean and modern with plants everywhere.

Hidden Gem in Hurst Respectfully, if I could give this place 10 out of 5 stars I would. This restaurant blows every restaurant in the area (yes, even restaurants in Southlake and Grapevine) out of the water. The inside is very cute, with a farm to table vibe, fresh flowers and plants that give the restaurant a fresh garden feel. This is top quality food at an affordable price and casual dining atmosphere. This restaurant deserves all the recognition it gets and then some. The chicken breast was incredibly juicy, some of the juiciest chicken breast I've had in a while. It was paired with a light herby sauce that kept it simple yet flavorful. The steak with the chimichurri sauce was cooked perfectly, with a crisp outside and perfect medium rare in the middle. The burrata salad was fresh and not overbearing like other burrata salads I've had doused with olive oil, and the dessert was warm, fresh, and delicious. Service was fast and quick, with everything coming out at the perfect time. If I were selfish I would leave this review unposted just because of how great this hidden gem is. Definitely worth it.

First time trying James Provision, a solid choice for brunch lovers. The interior was welcoming, filled with natural sunlight and live plants. The menu offers plenty of healthy choices, especially their juice menu! We tried a few dishes: Favorite Bowl - the presentation was excellent with a vibrant dressing Strawberry-Rhubarb Pancakes - appreciated the rhubarb syrup not being too sweet Steak + Eggs - absolutely loved the chimichurri dressing Overall it was a great meal, though the portions are on the smaller side. We still recommend!

Best Burger I've had in a long time. Service was excellent. Really helpful for a first timer. This is a nice clean place. Tables are spaced nicely so you are not right on top of your neighbors. Very nice looking Patio. I'll try that next time. Yes, there will be many more next times...

    Berry tart

We stopped in for our Yelp Week treat and ended up getting another item that cought our eye from their Sweets menu. We got Berry Tart that has lemon curd, berry coulis and mint. It was the perfect tarty balance of real tart lemon curd and the sweetness of the berry fruits while the pastry hold and neutralize all that flavor mixture. I bet it's a great ending for a nice dinner/lunch here but we had already eaten before they opened at 4pm on this day. This place has an open space feel with lots of natural light and the service is just as nice. Definitely a nice place to comeback to try their full menu.

    Crispy Eggs

Loved the food, they have great veggie options. I ordered the crispy egg. Great for brunch or lunch! The mint cucumber iced tea and high vibe popcorn was also a great snack! It's got an aesthetically pleasing vibe to the place and a good spot to work. The service was great, the staff were very friendly. You have to go to the counter to order your food then you pay at your table after you're done eating.

    Short rib tacos!
    Charlie D.

This cafe is brand new to our food scene in the DFW! With fresh and tantalizing light nodes for your taste buds to try! I got the short rib tacos which I was able to split into 4 tacos! The short ribs were marinated and pulled apart with a nice fermented red onion and salad on top which made it nice and refreshing! The sorbet was delicious dressed with fresh fruit which cooled my body down on a super hot day! Welcome James Provisions with a stop in as soon as you can!,

Peach sorbet with blackberries, half eaten.

I had read about James Provisions, saw that they had great reviews and wanted to try it; we just hadn't been yet. My husband and I stopped in on Sunday after church for a light lunch because we were going out to dinner that evening. We split a sandwich with a side and then ordered a peach sorbet with blackberries. The sorbet. The sorbet, oh my! It was EXCEPTIONAL. We were a bit in awe at the sorbet, honestly. You must go and eat this. I tried to take a photo of the sorbet before my husband devoured it and only captured part of its beauty. The restaurant is clean, inviting and well-maintained. The food was quite good. Every employee we interacted with seemed genuinely interested in our satisfaction. We cannot wait to return to this restaurant.

Stopped by Boulevard Cafe for a late breakfast and it was exactly what you want from a great diner…read more I ordered the classic breakfast combo with scrambled eggs and pancakes. Super traditional diner food, done right. Nothing fancy, just solid, well cooked comfort food. The biggest standout was the speed. Our food came out in about ten minutes, and from the time we sat down to the time we paid and walked out, we were done in under forty five minutes. The service was excellent. The waitstaff was friendly, attentive, and clearly used to handling a busy crowd. The place was packed, which tells you everything you need to know. Despite how busy it was, we were taken great care of the entire time. My buddy ordered the chicken fried chicken and said it was delicious, with fantastic gravy and huge portions. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept, including the bathrooms, which always matters. This is not a fine dining spot, but it is a top notch diner that delivers exactly what it promises. If you are in Fort Worth and looking for a reliable breakfast or brunch spot, this is an easy recommendation.
